I came in today as I regularly do about once a week and proceeded to order a cartridge. I usually buy one abstract cart at the price of $38 after tax but today wanted to try new flavors. The new flavors were only in .5 at $20 each. so I politely asked if there was anyway I could get a discount on the price of two .5 cartridges for $40 since it's a $10 difference for the same amount (1g). A wanna be manager named Dallas was called over and shut down any question I had about possibly discounting my order. I've been a customer at sol flower for the last two years and have had a plethora of bud tenders nice enough to work with me and discount me a few dollars here or there. And they weren't even managers. As a manager myself I know how to properly treat customers, especially when they're intending to spend money and have been a regular. Never have I wanted to come home and write a bad review of a dispensary... Until today. Ist time to Sol Flower Tempe, might be the only time. Got there about 15 minutes before they opened. With current COVID19 protections, there are seperate lines for New Customers/ Walk-ins and Online orders. Let's break this down 1. There is a pop-up awning for the check in window. First person at the window takes about 10 minutes there before she moves on to the next outside waiting area. With current social distancing there is room for one other person under the pop- up. That's OK for a mild day like today in Tempe. But we've just had a few days of 100° + days and we'll be back there shortly. This set up is going to be difficult to go through when it gets hot and stays hot. 2. Second customer is up, states she is a first time customer and takes a few minutes at the window. She's got a cane, the next guy is on a walker and I realize they are having to make their orders there at the window. I'm grateful for my health, wonder how difficult it is for them, and realize I'm going to be buying my weed without looking at it. Now my order has a dive-food/ New Jack City feel to it. Awesome! 3. Ask a couple of people waiting how the product is. "OK" is response. Like how you would grade a typical fast food burger. My eagerness to try it is only increasing. 4. My name gets called to get squared away. Raymond was the young man helping me. Raymond told me my cost and and I asked him to verify my order. He did, and then I asked him to verify it with what's in the bag. He did, almost shocked that I asked. I almost told him your lucky I didn't come with my digital scale to verify weight because I'm that old fashioned. I get that this location hasn't been open long, and that being open right now is hard. This felt like a "pop up" dispensary that's trying to figure shit out on the fly. The outdoor arrangements are going to be difficult to deal with for the next few months, only making waiting there more difficult. Update: Adding a couple of stars as I received a quick response from Nicholas the manager followed by an email from Cosmin. They promptly remedied the situation and I am completely satisfied. I have not tried the grass again from Good Things Coming, my last experience was enough to put me off of it for the time being. I have however, enjoyed their live rosin, it is extremely good for the price; an excellent value IMHO. The Tempe location is really good, been going there since medical card 3 years ago, now no medical just the now legal purchasing. I've tried almost all area dispensaries. So this happened. I ordered from Sol Flower the other day online and then called the receptionist after placing my order to double check things since I would have been a first time patient. She mentioned I would need to show more information upon arrival. I received a text at 6:19pm stating my order would be ready and showed up at 6:45pm due to my driving distance. When I showed up I was greeted by two men with masks (due to covid-19) that told me I could not drive in because they had closed at 6:30pm. When I made my order online, nowhere on the site did it mention they were closing at 6:30pm on a Friday and when I called the receptionist never mentioned. You would think she would have informed me of that knowing I was a first time patient. I had mentioned how my order was over $200 and that I was a first time patient and was unaware of the early closing time and asked to speak with a manager but the "guards" told me that I couldn't and that I wasn't the first one to ask for him. After turning my car around, I stopped to send a text asking if I could pick up my order as a last resort and shortly after they then decided to send me a message back saying my order had been canceled... thanks I was already aware of that I experienced over all the worst customer service and idiocy by this dispensary. You would think with what's happening right now, they would want some business, but they won't be getting my business! I also won't be recommending there business. If the service is like this, their products probably aren't that good either. read more

So I go into sol today. I'm a regular mind you. I recieved 2 platinum tier eighths for $50. Here is the rub, when I came home and opened a race fuel eighth this is what i got. POPCORN. On a platinum eighth. Btw on the shelf for display is a race fuel eighth that is all bud. They show ya one with all bud then give you this. Never happened before honestly to me. I left a review in the past of 5stars but this changes things especially in the midst of this coronavirus, everyone is taking advantage. I hope this is not the case. I also got a member berry eighth. I'll start off by saying the staff here is amazing! I order online 99% of the time and never have to wait long here. Even if there is a line! Also don't think I've ever had to open the door myself upon entering. Had two employees help me get my card out of an ATM three times because my nails are too long. They were sooo nice about it even though it was so silly! I had a young lady named Madison help me when I picked up my order (she also helped with the ATM, I wish I knew the other girls name). Madison was so nice and let me know I was eligible for a free cartridge. This is honestly my favorite dispensary in Tempe. They carry the best brands and again, the staff is amazing! read more

I have been a long time customer and it is an amazing place to come and hang out, chill and pick up some quality goods. The number one competition in the area is basically located next to the strip club on the opposite side of the block a couple of miles away and boy has it gone downhill fast. Just a bunch of shady MF. However, soul flower--Partially owned by a band member locally! Plenty of super cool people! Strippers! Potheads! Business people!, It's just a good vibe all the way around! I have never been overcharged, in fact I get a 20% veterans discount, and they always give me free stuff! Well, just like the other states, you have seen a great profit coming from recreational folks, so you raise prices, lower the thc and the people keep coming in....that is until the massive amount of new dispensaries and black market gets up to speed and than you will have a product that won't sell and you will have to do fire sales to keep open. You are just hurting medical sales to people that really need it. How sad!" Well here we are 1 year later and not much has changed. Took away all the points, sol flower is not in a sealed container and is mostly dry, thc levels are lower unless you go for the high grade, and i don't see much of an effort to help out the medical community. I got to Sol and there was a lot of construction, which is not a problem at all. There were a lot of signs indicating we go in through the back. I drove to the back and parked and was approached by the security guard who asked "are you dumb?" I said "what?" He told me I could not park there and it was for employees. Instead of explaining to me that the signs only meant WALK to the back he made me feel stupid and asked if I'd ever been to a dispensary before. Been coming to Sol for a few months now - probably won't be back. A few of the people working inside are really friendly, others less so. Prices are decent even if the space is a little shabby. Parking and access is usually bad, with a one-lane driveway serving two lanes of traffic, and no other access points to the property. Today upon arrival, it looked like a tree had fallen on a car in the parking lot, and a tow truck was removing a vehicle. As such, I was 'waved' toward the rear of the site that is normally labeled employee parking. It was back to back cars on both sides of the drive aisle, and a number of vehicles were double parked. I found the one space available, and start to walk up front to the dispensary when some Sol guy on a golf cart rode up to me and told me I couldn't park there. Again, there wasn't anywhere else to 'park' even though he said 'there are a few spaces up front.' Offering no real solution or customer service, I stated I would not be back and got back into my car and left. And no, there weren't any spaces available unless I wanted to block traffic completely. I get you guys are having a rough day. But either provide ACTUAL traffic management and direction to serve your customers, OR CLOSE FOR THE DAY. Unacceptable experience, and generally not worth the headache. I would go back had they actually tried to operate with some professionalism today, but that didn't happen. Lost my business - Harvest or Mint from now on. At least they're run with some professionalism. read more

I go here often but since the remodel customer service has gone way down. Specially one worker Timothy was especially rude and disrespectful to me during my last visit. Being a consistent customer it was discouraging and I probably won't be back. No greeting, no willingness to help or answer one of my questions. This review is business based and not about product: I started yesterday morning with 19g of allotment. I ordered 14g from Sol. I went to pick it up and I was told I only had 5g of allotment and couldn't take my order with me. I went home and looked at the ADHS website and I did have 5g left..... with a 14g purchase from that day already withdrawn. 19g-14g = 5g. When I called back to explain the error, I was still told I was wrong and that since they didn't allow me to take my purchase, the allotment would adjust over night (so 5g+14g= 19g total in the morning).Unable to get the medicine I needed yesterday, I checked this morning and it still reflects that I took 14g from Sol when I did not. Now my allotment is incorrect, I cannot get the medicine I need and ADHS is closed so they cannot correct the error either. I've never been able to have an order filled if my allotment wasn't available for it, ever. This inconvenience truly has made me want to take my business elsewhere even though I live nearby. *****The staff is the best thing about this place - even the people who were incorrect yesterday were at least patient and polite.
