For my very first legal purchase, I somehow ended up at a dispensary that makes me feel like I'm back to closing deals in shady parking lots. Be forewarned, this is not a good area of town. And you should forgive them for that! The chain link fence topped with wire come with the territory. I will say however it does strike an ominous chord, one that says to me "you're gonna get the goods, but it's gonna suck" Be prepared to wait in line outside for quite some time. And you should forgive them for that! Everyone is insanely busy and you should understand. But also be prepared to wait in line inside, too? And it's not even a comfortable line. It's a man pacing back and forth a narrow hallway, urging you to stand against a wall In a manner not seen outside of jails and middle schools. You will not have as much space to yourself as you would prefer. Not fun. At some point you'll be commanded to place an order on a large, glitchy touch screen. The point of sale software isn't even formatted to fit the screen, so make sure you scroll around so that you don't miss out on products that pique your interest. Anyway, this acts as a preorder system, so that once you finally get to the long-awaited and mysterious room they already know what you want. Knowing how hard I was about to get reamed by the tax man, I went with their base level herb, one that promises to get the job done but doesn't have the bells and whistles of outlandish strain names and extra fancy packaging. It wasn't their best, but it wasn't bad. I would splurge on something more premium next time, but Bloom is a little light on variety. What I did really appreciate were the Edge brand vapes. I purchased the Blue Cookies variety and it was flavored but without tasting like straight up candy or something. I like. The buzz was pleasant as well. And for a 500mg cartridge, it was a very reasonable price. Overall I don't beef with the staff here, they've got a tough job and I hope they're making a lot of money. But between the bad location, cramped waiting spaces, sparse flower choices, and other annoyances I am running out of space to write about, I just don't see myself coming back. Posting this from an alternative Yelp account because my occupation doesn't allow for marijuana consumption, but I felt compelled to leave a review after an incredibly painful experience and disrespectful attitude from management at this Curaleaf location. I have been a loyal customer of Curaleaf for some time now, and have been a regular at both the Camelback location and more recently the Scottsdale location. Service at both is always attentive and efficient. Not at this location. I decided to stop in on my lunch break, and although the store was extremely busy, I was reassured that the wait would not be long. After a PAINFULLY long time, I was finally called up to the counter to order. The person helping me was clearly frustrated with how busy it was, and I could tell the counter service employees were very stressed out, in turn causing me to feel rushed and also stressed. It was a shock to see the store so busy yet so few people working. I was having an issue with my rewards points showing up in my account and asked to speak to the manager. The employee went to the back to get them and I could audibly hear him ask them to come assist me. I heard a woman reply "tell him I'm in a meeting and to call the call center". The counter employee then returned and told me the manager was in a meeting. I was flabbergasted that this happened, and promptly cancelled my order and left. As I walked out the door, I made a comment to the front desk person that the manager was hard to reach. They replied with "she's never around when you need her". Don't leave a ton of reviews (especially negative ones), but have had a few weird experiences here and wanted to make sure I shared with my fellow stoner friends, especially with so many dispensary options in the Valley right now. The first couple times I went we didn't have any problems, the experience was pretty standard for a local dispensary and deals are generally really good (I usually buy appx. 1/2 oz - 3/4 oz, 4-5 grams of concentrate and some edibles, usually something CBN for sleep - something like $200-400/week, just for reference). The 4th time I went, I handed the tender my debit card to process a $412 order, put in my pin, got s receipt and walked out the door. By the time I got to my car the same bud tender was SPRINTING to my car saying she only rang me up for $200 and messed up on her end, gotta come back and run the rest - no problem, let's just figure it out and move on! It took about 15 minutes of back and forth, calculating the math, wondering why she was trying to ring me up for the FULL amount again, charging me ANOTHER CC processing fee, all kinds of weird stuff... ultimately we get it figured out, no big deal and go home to get high. The next time I go to Curaleaf, again just picking up an online order. I add on a Stiizy blunt to the order and one of the other bud tenders starts talking yo me about it, the customer he was working with starts talking about it and somehow it didn't find its way back in the bag. When I got home and realized this, I called Curaleaf and got what I assume was an (800) number after ringing through the store - she explains that we'll get it taken care of, takes my number and says someone will reach out. After 2-3 days pass, I call the same number again and have almost the exact conversation (someone will call, we have record of these conversations, etc). After another 2 days pass I call back and get someone at the store who says that there's nothing they can do as it's been longer than a week, even though someone at the store was going to be reaching out to me and never did... I want to say that I fully understand dispensaries are usually incredibly busy, with a ton of legal oversight and specific protocols that need to be followed, but at the end of the day, if someone legitimately wasn't delivered product that they paid for (appx $60 w/o tax), there should be a way to confirm the customer didn't receive their product (reference cameras, inventory, etc) in store... it's not like I lost it and calling them to replace it... it was on the counter or in the other bud tenders hand when my product was being bagged. Again, ultimately not the biggest deal in the world, but frustrating the way Curaleaf handled the situation. There are WAY too many dispensaries in Phoenix to deal with simple issues like this on a regular basis - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE GUYS!! read more

Wtf is the point of online ordering when you are taking walk ins only!!!! I came in well before others and they were being taken care of before online orders. I was in the online order line and I was being passed up for walk ins that came in after me. What is your guys explanation for that. I DO NOT recommend if you're in a hurry and want to be efficient as they are not. They are terrible at taking care of those that do everything right in order to be in and out. This is the worst dispensary in the valley! Let me paint a picture of my experience today. I walk in to grab my online order and I hear a very unprofessional conversation amongst the employees which was annoying but whatever I had an online order so I knew I wasn't gonna be there that long to have to soak up that negativity. WRONG! My card is declining and I have no idea why so they tell me to use the atm. I used both atms inside and both atms took the money from my account but did not dispense any cash. As well as their credit card reader.( so it didn't decline) Then they tell me that if the money is not back in my account in 15 mins to call the number on the atm! WHAT! They are straight up robbing people at this dispensary!! And the manager is rude as all get out. He didn't even want to assist me and did nothing to reprimand this situation! I don't even want to pick my medicine up from this location ever again and after today I won't. I went to a BoA atm 10 mins away while waiting for the funds to come back into my account so I could at least get my order because I refused to let them run my card again. The money never went back in my account like the unprofessional manager previously told me. Then he told me it will take 30 mins instead of 15. Another lie. They stole a total of $181.50 when my order was $43.50 lol and all I can do is dispute it with Bank of America so I'm out of the funds until its investigated. My card was never locked and my funds were never insufficient. They have a ghetto system that they use and it allows them to steal from customers and that's why they use it. Never have I ever felt so much anxiety and stress at a business let alone a dispensary! This location is shady and if you're going to shop with curaleaf you should avoid this location at all costs! A bunch of thieves. I've never had an issue even remotely close to this at any other curaleaf. Icing on the cake is when I was leaving and an employee asked if I wanted a hug. I recently moved into this area & I come to this dispensary at least 2-3x a month. And I will say I have had great flower in the past up until yesterday & I was very disappointed with the quality. I purchased an oz that the budtender recommended. Before I get deep into my complaint I want to include that I am an Arizona Establishment Owner so I understand business. But this is by far one of the SLOWEST DISPENSARIES I HAVE EVER SHOPPED AT IN ARIZONA. WHETHER ITS ONLINE OR JUST WALK IN YOU WILL SPEND ABOUT 30-40 mins IN THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION. Today was the first day that I have ever experienced some of the worst customer service ever. I purchased a bad batch of FLOWER from this location. I was told that I was buying great flower. I went home excited to try this out and was completely disappointed. I went back today to make a complaint and let them know I wasn't satisfied. Being an establishment owner I respect and honor rules and policies. But I was told that he could offer me $5 only on a new purchase. He repeatedly stated that they had a policy that stated that & I asked to see the policy & he refused and told me he couldn't & wouldn't show me in the policy where it states that. I asked to have contact info to someone higher than him and he refused to as well. I spent $90 on 1oz of flower and they only can offer me $5. I threw the flower away & they won't ever see me as a customer again. He had security remove me because I asked to be accommodated better. I called the Curaleaf customer service # and the young men who took down my information told me that he submitted the compliant for me and he told me that all CuraLeaf had a 7 day return policy on defected or bad flower & Thats exactly what I received. Looking into the system under my name it shows that I shop there all the time and usually very satisfied with the flower & not the wait time. But I always returned In the past because of how close to my home this dispensary is. It's like the young man who was the manager didn't care about customers spending there hard earned money and not being satisfied and being told its nothing they can do it very unreasonable. Arrived to the store at 4:50pm on November 14th, 2024 and waited in line for my online order. Total came out to 48.59. I presented a visa debit gift card that a bud tender didn't accept after trying to run the card. There was no marketing or advertisement of any kind, shape or form indicating the restrictions on what kind of debit gift cards can be used. He instructed me to use the atm. I was cooperative despite the inconvenience on curaleafs behalf. I paid an extra $4 for the atm fee and kindly asked the bud tender to take off the $4 from my overall total since it wasn't my fault at hand and I already had the necessary funds to pay for my product. He said no and that if he did that for me he would have to do that for everyone else. This wasn't the case and in this certain circumstance, didn't apply generically. He was a younger male of color in his early 20's. In a situation like that accountability and hospitality is very easy. Take accountability for your company not displaying enough information for your customers to understand what forms of payment are accepted and hospitality to make up for the inconvenience at the fault of the company, not the customer. Curaleaf is a dope spot. Employees definitely need a training course on how to properly communicate and resolve certain challenges though. read more

Prices are good, but the staff is rude and unorganized. Did an online order so I stood in their online order lane, while the counter guy took multiple recreational orders before me. After realizing he was NEVER going to call from the online line. I moved their divider over to eliminate the online line since it wasn't being recognized and future patients wouldn't waste time. Counter guy promptly calls security on me. I move it back and explain to security what was happening. Security says front desk should have told me they would only do one line, but didn't. Counter guy also could've said something but chose not to. Security said she would remind the entrance people, but didn't based on the questions from new people coming in behind me me. Just returned form picking up a medical preorder. It was busy with 5-6 customers ahead of us in the preorder line with at least 8-10 customers coming in after me in the preorder line. The walk in lines had 2 people in them. As we are waiting people are being served that came in after all the preorder people but were waited on before us. I think it would be better to just have one line so it's more fair. I had to wait 30 minutes longer then someone that came in as a walk-in. The preorder folks were not happy. read more

I am disappointed that "Online Ordering" would take away from the Overall Value that Bloom represents. I am a 5 year Medical Card holder and I wait less than 10 minutes to get in front of a Bud Tender. I get my Ounce of Infinity which is $25 more than the base Cannabis. I have found that the base weed is dried out and if you step up to Infinity, the weed is in better condition. So, while I have had several incidents at Bloom over their discounts, the over all quality and price, is less than any other MMJ dispensary. I use to go to Curaleaf and Harvest, both advertised one thing and when you get there they were out of stock. I found Curaleaf and Harvest to be 20% more and often, advertise a "Deal" only to be sold out or out of stock, having to buy the regular priced weed. "Bait and Switch, Curaleaf and Harvest" and Bloom is still just the smallest price Meds in Phoenix. Remember since Recreational Law past, each of us can grow 6 plants, legally so if you want the best for less, grow it yourself at home. I like Bloom, going today.
