It was too dark to go into the park at that point so I decided to pop into the shops that were open to check it out. I had zero expectations walking in but I was impressed by what I found at Canyon Market. If you're staying in the area camping or in an airbnb where you can cook, this market has a nice array of groceries like produce, frozen goods, dairy, snacks and more. If you're in a hotel room or just need some provisions for a day hike in the park they also have premade options like grab and go sandwiches, power bars, water, and a good selection of beer for imbibing if you so choose. Like most shops in the area there's also a variety of camping supplies as well as tourist friendly items like t-shirts, hats, socks, etc. Basically they have a little bit of everything you may need while visiting Springdale!

I should've brought it up to a store manager but we were on a tight schedule with a dinner reservation. Having been a retail manager, I know the store should've honored their sign but, I gave them a freebie today. Other than that, I feel the store was clean, well-stocked, but ill-staffed. There was one cash register open and a line 5 deep. We chose to go thru self check out which is the main reason I didn't push the price discrepancy issue!
