After living in Tucson for 2.5 Yrs now, I am sick and tired of being treated like this by these so called "Professional" contractors and vendors. So, I felt I had to warn potential clients of what I am finding not only with Bills Plumbing, but other unprofessional contractors and Vendors that do not want to work or care about it. I have interviewed over 10 plumbing companies with no reply, just promises, then I never hear from them. Same with Cabinet companies, drywallers, stucco companies etc. It is just mind boggling and I hear it is an issue here in Tucson. When I reached out to Bills via phone calls, and followed up with additional phone calls, never did I received a response. Also, what is is with the contractors and vendors the do not have an outgoing message to see if you are reaching the write company or not. VERY unprofessional. I want to know who I am calling. God forbid that they answer the phone with their business name. Just hello! I always ask, is this so and so company? I have a three-time rule now, you ignore me then I am moving on as it is obvious you do not need business or a job. At least let a potential client know upfront, you are either too busy or not interested then provide excuses and lies you cannot meet up too. When I had my showroom in CA, customer service was performed to all our clients, hence why were slammed due to our response. Never EVER leave a client or potential client hanging. It is rude, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. I told my employees ALWAYS return a call and never lie to the clients. It is harder to remember lies than the truth. Sadly, this new generation does not understand this concept or of customer service skills or professionalism. Hell, they do not even know how to sign their name in cursive. Very sad.

This time my wife was convinced we needed a new hot water heater and we had some other minor leaky faucets and such that needed attention. So, I called and set up an appointment for the other day. There was a minor mix-up in the dispatch office on the morning of and the wrong guy with the wrong truck with the wrong orders showed up on time (that was nice). Several excited calls followed and then David showed at about 10 a.m. in the right truck with the right tools and the right parts to do the work. Removal and installation of the new tank went quickly as did the other plumbing issues. The point is, Silverado came through and took care of us while David was always friendly and polite. He worked quickly and expertly finishing everything it what seemed to be a short amount of time. Everything was cleaned up and it all works great now. Our toilets started raising up and not flushing. We had a man come over and clear the vent, which…read moreseemed to solve the problem. But then it returned. Meanwhile our drains had always been sort of slow I called Drain Medics to just look down the vent pipe to see if it had really been properly cleared. They have a visual tube to stick down pipes and see what's going on. I thought the vent pipe may not have been fully unclogged. But when Austin arrived he immediately spotted something on the front yard that changed everything. A wet patch right under our window was in fact leaking sewage. With poopoo and all! When he put the visual tube in that big drain pipe we saw the entire inside of a very corroded old cast iron pipe going all the way out some 30 feet. Austin said this rough corrosion would catch T-paper and plug it up. Then in a day or two they'd melt, but then in a few days it'd do the same thing again. Austin told us most plumbers would replace the drain pipe. That would dig up our lovely natural lawn, take several days, and would be pricey. He could do a coring out of the inner corrosion of our pipe and then coat that with a strong epoxy resin which would fix the problem. It's guaranteed for 25 years at about 3/4 the pipe-replacement price,would also save our front yard from destruction, and take only a day. We accepted. Upon further research, I found they were indeed representing the situation correctly and their prices were very reasonable. And moreover they among the few plumbers uniquely qualified to do such repair and at such a price, as this was their specialty. They showed up and did the work brilliantly. I've watched people work and have some experience in the field, and they were top notch. Everything went without a hitch. Again, I cannot praise their professionalism, friendliness, and efficacy enough. Well, a few days have passed. The drains drain faster. The toilets flush better. A job I feel really good about. I consider it among the best investments in our little old casita that we've made.

I sent their General Manager, Jim, the estimate I'd received from the other guys and a separate second opinion along with my concerns. Instead of speculating, Jim sent James out to evaluate our system personally. James spent two hours inspecting everything and discovered the previous company had recommended a massive amount of unnecessary equipment and failed to mention that the actual issues were caused by their own poor installation. The best part? Cool Willy's didn't charge us a dime for the visit, calling it a "re-evaluation."
