Had to make a last minute appointment last week to get my roots colored, as my old stylist moved AND the salon closed in the same week. And that's some traumatic ish!!! Let me tell you. Dani matched my color perfectly, and gave the bombest scalp massage in the shampoo bowl! Honestly, she did a better job on my hair than the guy who moved, who has been doing my hair for the past 6 years. I got compliments galore all week because after the blow dry it legit looked like silk growing out of my head. My hair had been over processed by my long time hair stylist and I wanted a change of stylist. Walked into Level 10 because of an ad. I had my color done but it didn't go well. I went from Blonde to Brunette, that's not what I wanted. Never asked to be a brunette but tried to have a good attitude. Next day still hated it and rescheduled to have it corrected. The girl that did my hair was nice but her and the owner kept saying I had picked this shade and was told I would have to pay for the correction. I felt I should only pay for product on the second visit. Didn't feel I had a choice had to get it fixed. My hair was stripped of the color and ended up with a shade of blonde that is a color of its own for a total of $316 for both days. read more

I do think it's a bit pricey I think it was about $425 ish I want to say but she did take about 5 or 6 hours to get it done . It was treatment and color and highlights and my hair came out looking very nice !! It is worth the price if you have the $$$ it literally tells you on the website for the people complaining about the price lol this is Redlands not sure what you expect . You get what you pay for imo. And you also put down a deposit I think depends on the total price mine was $100 deposit . Then I came in on a Saturday. I would recommend it and I would def come back. I was set up with Tamara for my first appointment. I am a mixed race woman with curly hair texture. It usually is difficult to find someone who is comfortable working with curly hair. Katie Baker was absolutely fabulous today! She is not only a lovely person, but an amazing hair stylist. She took my hair to the next level with so much time, effort, and skill. She literally took six hours to help me achieve a look that many stylists hadn't even been able to come close to. Decided to show up in person to ask for pricing and book appointment for a woman's wash cut and style. My first time visiting this establishment. I walked in and stood at appointment desk for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. No one said hello, we'll be with you soon, several employees did make eye contact, I smiled, they didn't. They were walking back and forth passing me. Just looked at me and kept on what they were doing. By the way, it was not busy. Only one client getting a hair cut. Two employees were on the way out, said goodbye to the hairdresser on the floor and left. I knew they worked there due to all the rooms they were walking in and out of in the back. Not good for business when you don't welcome a client as soon as they walk in. Even if your busy, you can say hello, we'll be with you as soon as possible. They have a little sign behind the desk that says, " let us know you're here, grab a drink and have a seat " something among those lines. But its pretty obvious I was standing there with everyone looking at me. Finally a girl asked me if I'd been helped yet, I said no. So I asked about wash cut and style. She priced me at 75.00, I said ok let's book an appointment. Although online pricing says 65. But this is why I went in person to ask. She then stated something was wrong with computer. She went pass the floor where styling chairs are, came back and asked for all my info, but then got up and went back to where ever she went the first time, and did so at least 5 times! I had no idea what was going on. Finally she said ok let's book this, got my info again, then tells me it will be 95.00 and you need to leave half for deposit. I was like what? You said 75.00 why are you changing it to 95.00? She gave me half a smile like she had no idea what to say, and she didn't. So I asked why again, and asked if everyone here charges different. She said yes, that everyone has they're own set pricing, and that Kate would be cutting my hair. I obviously ended up not booking the appointment. Not because it was 95, but the poor customer service when i walked in had me already doubting this place, and no proper communication between employees when it comes to booking clients, specially new customers. I would have paid 100 plus tip had I'd been welcomed as soon as I walked in and had been given the correct price the first time and not change it on me. I know the amount of work required for the service I asked for. I'm also a cosmetologist, and was looking for a place where I can be pampered. I really wanted to like this place due to the reviews. The atmosphere in this establishment was not good the day i walked in. This was a little over a week ago. Walked out very disappointed. read more

I have tried most other salons/barbershops in Redlands trying to find somewhere that made me feel comfortable and I finally thought I found it in Level 10. Professional employees that were more welcoming and inclusive than other salons, and definitely a more welcoming experience than going to barbershops. I got two haircuts from this location, simple but some of the best I'd ever had, but then in the time between my second and third (and final) visit, the price for my simple men's style haircut was doubled up to $60 as well as taken off of their website. It was taken off of the website for understandable reasons, however the price hike is just saddening. I felt very comfortable in this environment despite being someone who gets nervous both in masculine environments like barbershops as well as in hyper feminine environments like other salons. This comfort combined with their great work meant a lot to me, which I communicated to the owner in appreciation multiple times. That was before the price hike, and now I'm sobered once again to the truth that these environments aren't available to someone like me. Hope to find something suitable elsewhere. I was initially happy that I was able to get a next day appointment considering salons had just re-opened after quarantine. I show up 10 minutes early to my appointment and check in. After sitting there for one hour I just got up and left. I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt and that's why I actually waited for so long, I did notice they were busy. The fact that there was a peaceful protest scheduled in the city at 4 PM was the reason I was forgotten even though my appointment was at 1:15. All I wanted was a quick trim, nothing complicated. My experience here was amazing. As someone who just moved to Redlands I loved the welcoming atmosphere. Rosa was my hairstylist and I would definitely keep her as my stylist throughout my time here. I came in with a strawberry blonde box dye job, but Rosa worked flawlessly with it and gave my hair some gorgeous ice blonde highlights, along with a haircut that wasn't too short and added lots of healthy volume. I looked up a Carlton Hair Salon that was closest to my area and checked out the yelp reviews. The closet Carlton was in Rancho Cucamonga at Victoria Gardens. She does not disappoint. 5 years later, even though she has moved far from me (I live in LA now), I am still willing to make that drive because it's worth it.
