I have had a horrible experience with the service and quality of this company. During the sales cycle I was told something by the sales representative regarding the fee schedule and of course had to fight to get it corrected. The second issue was the quality of the install. The installers broke roof tile and replaced the tile with sheet metal tiles instead of the cement tiles that were on my house. The electrician installed the inverter where I could not replace the light bulb on an outside light if needed. Lastly, the apparent repairs to my stucco where they gained access to my panel was so sloppy and not painted. Please see photos below showing the three items above. Finally, when I received approval from NV Energy, I was required to figure out how to turn on the system. You would figure for a $43,000 install someone would come help you turn it on. When I went to turn it on I had to call a call center who determined that one of the inverters was a defect. Apparently, this was known approximately 6 weeks earlier and one of the vendor partners opened a warranty claim instead of just putting a new inverter on. It should be noted that my system has been turned on working at approximately 50% capacity and I have no timeline when this will be resolved. I reached out to Solaire and asked to speak to Lucas (Prior Yelp response said his title was owner) and was given grief for asking for the owner. I received a call from Lucas who said he would take over getting this resolved. He said he would be back in touch with me. I then received a call from Carissa who said Solaire was the sales and marketing company and wanted me to call Palmetto who controls this. Carissa told me that Palmetto controls the installs. Great customer service on clearly a problem on their end not mine...... The whole finger pointing game instead of taking accountability. All I know is that I have paid $43,000 and my system is not working as designed and I do not know when it will be resolved. I am totally disappointed and wish I never went with Solaire. My solar system stopped working after less than 1 year, on Dec 29, 2021, due to a defective SolarEdge inverter. I reported the issue on Jan 2, 2022, and have followed up with Solaire and Palmetto, via email and phone, on numerous occasions to no avail. As of today (Feb 23), my system has not been repaired and I am basically being ignored by Palmetto; and Solaire, the "sales face" of Palmetto, can't seem to help me with getting Palmetto or SolarEdge to do right by me, the consumer. Any communication with Palmetto, at all, is one-way - Me calling them. Based on my overall experience, I recommend you run the other way if Palmetto tries to sell you a solar system. Next, I will be filing a complaint with the Public Utilities Commission and exploring my legal rights to sue. Although Solaire is "just the sales face" of Palmetto; as a consumer, I see Solaire and Palmetto as being one in the same. And as for SolarEdge, the "parts" part of the equation, same thing - I fault one and all for my predicament. If Palmetto wanted to they could have easily swapped out my defective inverter for a new one and then dealt with SolarEdge on the back end. 2 years and thousands in lost credits later, we're still waiting on the carport we signed for and now no one at the company exists or can call me back. Tried calling Palmetto, they had no information available and never called me back. We paid to have trees installed because Solaire told us we had to in order to get the permit. Permit still pending. No one answers the phones. Now I have to ensure the loan doesn't somehow get triggered and leave me paying for nothing for the next 30 years. read more

I was interested in purchasing solar panels for my home but had questions about the contract. The contract said that if any work was done on the roof, it would void the warranty. When I asked the sales rep about why a roofer working on the portion of the roof not covered with solar panels would void the warranty, she tried to pressure me into signing a contract even though my concerns had not been addressed. She said that unless I signed that day, my "special offer" would go away. Since I don't respond well to pressure sales tactics, I declined to do business with Solaire. Solaire is now harassing me. They phone incessantly. They send uninvited sales reps to my home. Some of these reps are very pushy and will persistently ring the doorbell and knock on the door. The one time I answered the door, the salesman wanted to come inside to talk to me. I said no. He said that my neighbor was getting solar panels and two other people were getting solar panels. He asked me when a good time would be to meet. I observed that he was being pushy. He said he wasn't but he had also leaned hard on my doorbell and kept knocking on my door. He pushed for a meeting that I wasn't interested in. He didn't seem to understand the word, "No." I finally had to shut the door, cutting him off in mid-sentence. I will also mention that we're still in the midst of a pandemic and the salesperson was not wearing a mask. I don't know if he was vaccinated or not. I most certainly was not letting an unmasked stranger into my home let alone a pushy sales person from Solaire. I care about my health even if Solaire doesn't. The next time a sales person from Solaire knocks on my door and won't go away, I'm calling the police to complain about harassment. "No, I am not interested," literally means NO I AM NOT INTERESTED. read more

Let me just start by saying I love Solaire! I have been looking to make the switch to solar for some time now. Just simply wonderful customer service. I felt like I was really being taken care of, as if I were family. They made the drive over to my house and explained how solar worked. I didn't feel rushed to make a decision. They are so down to Earth!!! I felt very comfortable around them. Their panels are America made, which is nice because I didn't want anything coming in from China, etc. I was sold on the Silfab panels. I seriously can't wait for the install in 45 days. Not a good experience working with this company. Hands down my worst job. You'll end up paying them and struggling. Their accounting is AWFUL at best. Save yourself the headache: Walmart is a better career. So is McDonald's. At least you'll learn something, get paid accurately, and have stock options. With Solaire all you'll have is stress of wondering why you SHOULD get paid $2k but you get $200 or $0. Cancels? Fair. But take ALL the money at once? How do the employees survive?!? So? I do actually love how responsive the office staff were. Cool calm and collected. I would recommend, and I have already to others. The sales representatives, Randell and Drake are kind, and very knowledgeable. Just that there were a few things lost in communication between them and the office staff. No biggie, just inconvenient when they don't reply back after they contracted you really. But after the earned my business they didn't keep their promises to give me the gift card. I called and emailed and texted them to ask about that but since so many different people answered and ignore me, I think they just don't want to give me what they owed me.
