I would give this place ZERO stars!!! If you're looking into renting here, RUN AWAY!!! The miss informed and miscommunication between all staff members is completely UNPROFESSIONAL! Many staff members involved and all gave us WRONG and MISLEADING Information! I have never been so HUMILIATED in my life! Not the kind of place you can trust! Thomas gave us no options or solutions for his mistake! He only gave us an ultimatum, take the wrong apartment or wait two weeks for bigger apartment at a higher monthly payment. Talk about accountability and responsibility for making a HUGE MISTAKE! With or without you in the office, business has to run smoothly between clients and staff members. He gave us a story on how he was gone for two weeks and he doesn't know what happened or how we got wrong information. We applied for apartment floor pan1, however, Thomas emailed us the "wrong" floor plan (floor plan 2, ERROR number one!). Yet Thomas had the audacity to blamed us for their mistake, saying, "you didn't apply for a bigger apartment". Even if we applied for a smaller floor plan, Thomas himself emailed us a copy of the WRONG floor plan! We scheduled an appointment for a walkthrough, Leo showed us the WRONG apartment (floor plan 2) ERROR #2! When were they going to realize they made a mistake in showing us something we didn't apply for?!? Instead they kept misleading us and making us think we were getting floor plan 2! Had they shown us the correct floor plan from the beginning, we would've prevented getting this far! It would have been our choice to accept or decline the smaller apartment if it was not to our liking. We literally packed up all of our belongings, gave up the place we lived in prior (which is about an hour away from solamente), loaded our cars, hired a moving company and drove to Solamonte, only to find out we were screwed! Leo took us to see our "apartment" and it wasn't even ready! There was a cleaning lady still sweeping trash!!! Thomas didn't make an effort to fix the situation! I'm not angry at the fact we didn't get to move in, I'm ANGRY at how this situation was handled! He literally allowed us to walk away with no solution, NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY FOR WHAT HE PUT IS THROUGH!!!Wrong on so many levels. We have texted to various numbers provided and no response. We have gone to the facility and the door has been locked. I repeat LOCKED!! We parked and they would walk to the door lock it then just ignore you knocking. paid $52 each for an application and have been completely ignored. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! If I could give no stars I would We called maintenance more than 3 times to fix AC issue in both bedrooms and it was never fixed. AC never works in the bedrooms. Plumbing sucks! Bathtubs do not drain properly, it took hours for it to drain all the way. Our garage door was also tampered with, someone tried to open it and ended up breaking the chain to have the door open. They close the pool with so many excuses during the hottest weeks of the summer. While on the topic of the pool, they kick you out of the pool area for no apparent reason. Trash valet is a waste! They never pick up when they are supposed to and they end up leaving a mess all the time. I would prefer to throw out my own trash ANTS! Ants were a big issue also. Finally, MICE! Their apartments are infested with mice! Leasing office made a call to pest control and they only helped with sticky mouse traps. We were told that they would return Tuesday's to check those traps and replace until it was under control. They never returned. We were constantly dealing with mouse droppings making it so uncomfortable to stay there. Until one day we heard squeaking and moved everything until we found 4 MICE!!! SO DISGUSTING!!!! We called the leasing office right away and they proceeding to laugh at us stating they have never had an issue and they bet we didn't spend the holiday there. You bet we didn't!! They just advised to just throw them out. They sent up maintenance and they fixed a drawer with a hole stating that will hopefully fix the issue. Right away we started noticing mice droppings in the restrooms & closets. They close one hole and they still manage to find a way in! We leave the apartment at 5am and return until 7pm and it has been horrible always living on edge. Our apartment isn't dirty we are constant clean freaks even before the mice. My boyfriend, my pug and I just moved in a couple of weeks ago and it has been a great experience. Myriam was so helpful in the process of moving in. Even when I was having trouble with SoCal Edison, she even called them to help me out. She truly cared to help solve Ny problems that came up. Each times I've called the office in business hours, I have received the help I need. It is in a beautiful area and safe enough for me to run around the block by myself. It is a little odd to have trash pickup but it's not too bad. So far they have come on the Sunday-Thursday schedule unless there's a holiday. So far so good. We are happy here! read more

DO NOT RENT HERE. Avoid at all cost. The property management company engages in illegal activity and will steal your deposit. I left the apartment in perfect condition and they said they do not care they will keep my deposit any ways. REMEMBER legally they can only deduct if you leave the place dirty or in need of repairs. They also illegal tried to increase my rent, and sneak it into my final bill. They and told me I do not know how to do math when I asked them to correct. Maintenance I had 3 maintenance issues since I lived here. The most recent issue they did not fix for a week. I put in a second work order. They called me and straight up lied to me telling me it was fixed even though the first order was still open! The other two issue were low level issues, it still took them 2+ months to fixed it. Parking You will receive a threat every few week that cars will be towed. Even in your assigned parking spot. They spent hundreds of thousands redoing the parking lot asphalt. Yet they property does not have working gates and it's next to impossible to walk out of the building because half the gates have a code that they will not sure with you, even though your paying to live here! I have no clue why they won't spent the few hundred dollars install fob on the gate. Mailroom The mailroom has been robbed 3 times. Now it's locked and open only from 10am to 6pm. If you work a regular job tough luck no mail for you. The package room is disaster. The delivery man left a package in the wrong box, I just got told they will not anything. Renewing lease Every small little thing you have to fight them just to do their job. They automatically tried to give a rent increase and would not even offer a lower price. The individual apartments are nice, but the management is horrible. When I looked at the apartment and when I signed the lease, I was told my name would be put in the directory at the gate which would call me when I had a visitor and I would be able to let them in. As of the date I moved out, a year later, my name was still not in it. When I would email about it, I would not get a response. I put in a request and it was closed out. When I verbally asked about it I was told either, "at least you're getting your steps in" or "just call us and we will let them in". The problem is they are only there until 6 and don't reliably answer the phone. I didn't have access to my mail for 3 months during which I had to go to the post office 2-3 times per week during my work day. When I would email about it, again no response. When I would go in and ask about it, I was told the manager would contact me. I never received a call back or email from the manager. When I moved out, I requested an initial inspection 3 times: once on the move out paperwork and twice via email. They denied my request, a violation of my rights as a tenant per CA statutes. Beware of your security deposit!! They tried to charge me $175 for a full clean of the apartment even though I have pictures to prove it was immaculate, they charged for a full paint even though the lease says they won't charge for normal wear and tear, they charged me for a carpet clean even though I had receipts to prove I did it. They also charged for a key I never received. To add insult to injury, the assistant manager told me, "that's why I tell tenants not to even clean because they get mad when they clean and we charge them." What?!? The worst part of it all is that if they had not violated my rights, I would have been able to remedy all of the issues I was charged for. This is NOT ok. read more

Angela from the maintenance team is quick and responsive with any work orders we have needed. She is very kind, helpful and informative. She treats my apartment as if it was her own home and has pointed out other things to me in the apartment that needs attention. It can be difficult to let maintenance crew enter the apartment with my dog inside when I'm not home. However, you can schedule an appointment through the leasing office. This last work order appointment was a bit inconvenient having to constantly reschedule per the leasing office. But Angela always shows up and leaves a note that she came by. This place truly takes advantage of people. There are also cat size rats roaming the area eating your trash that's left for days outside. However, the most devastating happened 7 months after move out I received a call about owing $900for not giving them my 30 day notice. I have proof it was done exactly how they told me to do it. I called on Monday September 6th asking how to leave my notice they informed me just send and email. I gave my 30 day notice sep 8th. I called the very next day to confirm receipt. I was told they didn't receive it because that exact day they switched management companies but no problem forward the email. I sent the email to the new management and the said they need an email from my husband as well I said ok and he sent one over. We had to move out a early because we moved out of the city But we paid up until October 8 which was the end of our lease. Thomas informed me because we turned in our keys early the computers are not people and they charged us. When my husband turned in the keys he asked if he need to sign anything they told him no! Also I never received an invoice for my damages in that 21 day time frame and never received my $600 deposit back after calling several times because I was afraid of this happening. I'm so grateful I work for an attorney that was able to explain to me that this is illegal! I received the most condescending email from Thomas. I now owe $380 instead of the $900. They are illegally keeping my deposit and "just charged me for Turing in my keys early." There are so many other great apartment complex's in Rancho please avoid this one. Best apartment experience ever! I recently moved out of Rancho Cucamonga and had a 10 month lease with Solamonte. This is probably one of the nicer apartments in the area in my opinion, at a reasonable price. Full washer and dryer in the unit FTW! I have leased a lot of apartments in my young adulthood and this has got to be my #1 choice. I think every apartment complex should run the way that this team does. Props to both the leasing and maintenance crew! My communication with the Solamonte staff from beginning to end have been super seamless! Despite how crazy the leasing office can get (or how slow it might be on a particular day), each and every one of them will acknowledge you - something that I appreciate very much. Email communication is just as prompt as their in person services. Ashia helped me out with the move in process back in 2017 - she is absolutely stellar! She answered all my questions and concerns considering it was my first experience leasing an apartment on my own. The duration of my 10 months have been great here - it's absolutely safe and the surrounding neighbors I had were peaceful. Garbage valet is great - they are prompt and are very transparent about what days Garbage valet will not be in service. Moving out was also just as seamless as moving in. As long as you are honest and take care of the unit, you will not be "cheated" out of the fees and whatnot. It was absolutely fair. The complex would hold every now and then special events that would revolve around contests, food, and holidays - it's a nice thing to have in the community. They are very good at communicating these things via email and advertise it well in their leasing office. They recently started undergoing renovations of the amenities in April of 2018 and are presumed to finish at the end of the summer / early fall of 2018. While this was a bummer to those who frequently used the gym, pool, computer lab, and theater, they did provide other options as far as the gym and pool goes -which I absolutely appreciate. I am very excited for those residents and future residents that get to relish in the new common areas. Maintenance is attentive and will follow up with any concerns. I had some issues during move in and a member of their crew was able to iron them out one by one. I also had an issue with the washer one time, and that was an easy fix thanks to them. Super respectful crew. I have a lot of pros about this complex but listing them all here would be exhausting - and I'm sure this review is already long as it is, but I highly recommend this complex if you are in the IE area. I'm sad that they don't have a sister complex out in the Bay Area.. but if I ever go back to this area I would definitely rent with them again. My only con would be the parking. I think they should implement a parking permit system where a resident is allocated an X amount of permits depending on size of household. I had no problem with parking personally ( I lived on my own and had my own carport), but I could tell that there is a struggle for others looking for parking. read more

I usually go home late like 1-3am and i saw a homeless man walking by my apartment building just today. Literally he was standing by the stairs and when he saw me he started walking. Good thing nothing bad happened. this is not the first time that i saw homeless people in our GATED COMMUNITY. Last time i saw a homeless person during the daytime just roaming around with her grocery cart. This is not a safe place now. Terrible management with horrible communication. I've been a resident here for more than a year and I've spoke to the manager in person regarding upgrading to a larger unit. Of course, I had to speak to the management in person about this as they NEVER answer the calls or even reply to their emails. I had told the manager that I was willing to put down a deposit to hold the unit that I wanted as I wanted to secure the unit, however, she said they were not allowed to do so until they do the inspection. After communicating with Solamonte for a week, specifically with the management about the inspection, I noticed that the unit that I wanted was ALREADY OCCUPIED. Prior to noticing that this unit was occupied, management had told me that we will proceed with the inspection the following week in order for me to obtain the unit that I wanted. Management did not even have the decency to inform me that unit that I wanted will not be available as a client had signed already. My point is, if you knew that a client had already signed the unit that I wanted why push through with the inspection and get my hopes up? What is the point of communicating with management if they won't follow through? Such a waste of time. Moreover, as a loyal resident here at solamonte, I expected seniority and better treatment. That fact that they would rather prioritize new tenants over tenants who have been loyal to them and WHO IS WILLING TO PAY MORE for the unit they like, is very upsetting. I expected professionalism and gratitude for being a loyal tenant, but I did not receive this treatment at all. Definitely do not recommend this place. read more

I applied at this location last Saturday. I received an email of required documents and an email of my rental report. I was then charged my application fee and holding deposit. By Tuesday (next business day) I expect a follow up. I received nothing. I have called and emailed several times and I still haven't heard anything. Now I am out of the 72 hour hold to receive my holding deposit back and I don't know what is going on or when I can expect that back. I can't imagine living in this community and never hearing from the staff. This is a horrible way to begin and now I'm having second thoughts all together. Living here started off great. But they constantly have water or A/C issues with their systems. Or maybe just building 9. Also last minute notice to entering your apartment without you being there. Good luck trying to get off work or get an answer to when they might be entering your apartment unannounced. Today we are having water issues and we are not able to reach the office or get an answer to why our apartment does not have flowing water, or when it might get fixed. We may have made a mistake as new residents to this complex. Doing some research online you can find other apartments in the same area with the same quality and amenities for a slightly lower monthly cost of rent. The gym also has poor ventilation. Not a huge deal breaker but when someone is in there who has not had a shower or bad body odor it can kill your workout vibe. Once again. Read reviews. The last Maintenance request took forever to be filled and I had appointment cancelled without notice. When they finally show up the problem they said they fixed the problem and I had to have them come out again because it was still not fixed. Moved in in 11/2020. After living here for a few months, I can say I am mostly pleased with the unit, amenities, and the management staff. Some annoying occurrences include two mail box break-ins within a span of two months and packages going missing/stolen. There is a mandatory fee when signing up for using their lockers (can't opt out) but some delivery companies don't use the system and left my packages in front of the door. Four packages have gone missing since I moved in. Apartment staff tried to help locating my packages, at least. So I don't do deliveries anymore. Apparently thievery is rampant here.. and because of these reasons, don't think I will renew my lease this year. read more

I wish we could give 10 stars! Myriam was incredible!! She went above and beyond for us from day 1. Although it took a few tries to find the perfect unit, (they are all so beautiful, they kept getting snatched up!), Myriam made sure we were satisfied. She literally ran around the complex to find what we were looking for, bless her. When I saw how gorgeous the layout was and THE VIEW of the mountains...It was breathtaking. Myriam made sure our apartment was set and ready to go before our walk-through and graciously answered every question we had. Thank you so much for making our first apartment hunting so enjoyable! This is the MOST disgusting, fraudulent, unprofessional apartment complex. When we initially toured, they promised a luxury living experience because the new management was from "The OC". As soon as we signed our lease and committed, that entire experience ended. Miriam, who "sold us" on the building didn't even bother to reply to a single email about the apartment NOT being clean at our move in. There were stains on the apartment ceilings and white residue all over counters. We signed a 8 month lease. We never were able to let guests be buzzed in to our complex, have any type of directory nor ever had any fobs that worked to let ourselves in to the building if we happened to want to go out to walk. This was the most inconvenient experience. Every time we asked about this basic necessity we were told they couldn't figure it out (by Leo). What if an emergency would happen? Emergency services would have to wait outside until someone hopefully exited the building. The mail experience was horrible, always unable to access. Pool was constantly closed, poop everywhere, on grass and SIDEWALKS. I mean - ALWAYS. The worst part is the trash pick up they promote as "luxury"....every apartment leaves their trash outside and someone comes pick it up: MON-THURS only, and the hours are never consistent. So if you miss them, you're screwed with Trash there all weekend. Holidays are off too so you can imagine the pile up everywhere. This complex is FAR from luxury. Good luck trying to reach front office too. NOW THE REAL KICK is at move out. I'm being charged for CLEANING/CARPET?/ AND PAINT!?!! For 8 months? Paint?? Breakdown: $1525 for carpet ?!?!? $185 cleaning $232 painting This is the most outrageous experience and WARN you to beware of this complex. read more

The reason I decided to write this review is because today, Carlos Beltran my buildings assigned maintenance technician, came to my apartment to service a maintenance request and couldn't get in because another maintenance guy changed the locks in July and some how didn't replace the master key in the office. Carlos called me on my cell to let me know he couldn't get in and I told him I was now home. He could of easily said I'll catch you tomorrow because it was close to quitting time but he came right over. When he realized the locks needed to be changed again, he viewed it as an emergency because if the apartment above me were to have a water leak it could possibly flood my apartment. He went to get the locks and came back right away to change them and service the original maintenance requests I made. I've been living at Solamonte for 4-1/2 years now and I can honestly say I have the best maintenance man in the business assigned to my building. You can tell Carlos loves his job and it comes through in the level of service he gives the tenants. Everytime he services a maintenance request he strives for excellence to ensure I am satisfied with the repair. On days I wasn't home, he entered to do the repair and occasionally would call me after to give me an update and communicate what he did. When I first moved in I didn't know how to feel about a maintenance person being in my apartment but as I got to know Carlos it was like allowing a family member to have a key to my place. Never once have I ever felt like anything was gone through or curiosity got the best of him. I don't know about the other maintenance guys here but I am fortunate Carlos Beltran loves his job.
