I had a hit and run and filed a claim with insurance. My Insurance recommend to go with Enterprise but what a HUGE mistake. Called the Branch after confirming a car reservation through insurance. Called Few times, 2x it was disconnected by the rep, 3rd time they transferred me to reservation. 4th time trying to explain no one from this branch picked me up, was later Disconnected AGAIN !!! I called my insurance company, they reached out and I was setup a conference call from someone in Enterprise - they said someone will come up and now 2nd time of pick up - NO call - No Pick up !!! Horrible EXPERIENCE Honestly its the staff at any location that makes a smooth and friendly experience, this branch and its employees will MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A HORRIBLE and TERRIBLE experience !!! Avoid this Branch and Thank me later :)

It was a 2020 Kia and it's been so beat up by other people that had rented it. next. I've been given a 2019 Nissan That the engine doesn't start right away sometimes I have to press the button to get it to kick in 6 times, as in the other car, the low tire warning is coming on. This makes me really nervous so I have to go back once again and get another car. because the customer service is so good and they're so nice and they try to be accommodating This is why I am not giving one star but their cars I have to say are terrible. My car is a 2022 Nissan Ultima, and this is such a downgrade to what I'm getting that It's depressing.. My car insurance is taking forever to get my car fixed, so I'm assuming I'm going into the new year renting .

I was in a bad storm and couldn't see out the windshield due to not being able to use the washer fluid and wiper. I tried to clear it myself for 20 minutes in freezing temps. We had to stop every 20-30 minutes to manually clear the windshield. Sometimes in areas that had a shoulder not wide enough for a car, as Semi's were going past me at 40-60mph. A 14hr trip turned into a 19 hr trip. I was told my charges would be paused until I received a call from the manager. 3 days later, no call and charges have posted. We also had a nonstop warning from the rear trunk latch and sensors that randomly would not work and flash for hours on the dash. While driving we called enterprise and asked for help but due to the holiday and being late on a Friday, they couldn't offer us anything. It was a miserable, scary experience. Do not rent from here, they don't take care of their vehicles!

I gave them an example of a minivan that he fit into. I was told they had one available that no one was using. When I checked out I was TOLD the price was still $178 (same as the original rental). In the past, other agencies have upgraded the size of the car at no extra charge out of courtesy and desire to keep your business. Unfortunately, I trusted what I was told & signed the paper. Upon returning the car they charged $279. I explained to the manager, Renee, what transpired & showed her the reservation which fell on blind eyes. I explained that I was told total was $178 not $278. She literally prevented me from speaking directly to the person I originally dealt with even after stating that he was there today. She was INFLEXIBLE & CONDESCENDING & lost herself a customer &: Enterprise member. My lesson is to read everything carefully & to AVOID this Queens Blvd Enterprise at all costs. Please learn from my horrible experience with Renee. if corporate reads this, please note that Renee is definitely NOT MANAGEMENT MATERIAL and as a manager for over 10 years, I speak from experience

When we tried to start it, every warning light came on ("Service Now," engine malfunction, etc.), the car shook violently, and it was undriveable. Budget sent a tow truck and left us without a vehicle. No follow-up. No check to see if we were safe. No replacement car. Nothing. The next morning, Budget told us the case was still "open." After much dodging, the truth came out: Budget claimed we were responsible for paying the tow truck they dispatched and for any repairs to their vehicle. There was no accident. The car simply broke down due to mechanical failure. Let that sink in: if a Budget vehicle fails because it wasn't properly serviced, you--not Budget--may be on the hook for the tow and repairs, buried somewhere in pages of fine print. Accidents? Fair enough. But being charged because their car dies? That's unacceptable. Rent from Budget at your own risk--and read every line of the fine print, because they certainly won't warn you.

I was unexpectedly over charged $250 gas, when I returned the car on full. Attempts to resolve the issue was frustrating as customer service was unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility. Transparency and honesty are extremely important when it comes to rentals, and unfortunately, this company failed on both counts. I would not recommend renting Budget unless you want to be over charged. Service could be improved by training agents not to charge customers for services they did not render! I rented a vehicle which I consider very dangerous because the parking brake would engage at any time, I was stuck for hours one day in a shopping center, and on the Belt Parkway for minutes in traffic because the parking brake engaged and I could not release until numerous attempts. Hertz gave me a discount on that rental for my inconvience, so a week later I made another reservation, for a different vehicle, of course. I called before I left to pick up my rental to make sure I wasn't making a trip in vain, and was told by Carlos they had a car for me. I pay for car service to go there and there were no cars available. I did become upset, because there were no apologies, no sensitivity from Carlos or the Manager who I believe his name is Harry. Harry is a very nasty individual who has no idea how to apologize for being wrong or for inconveniencing me.This is why their reviews are horrendous. I then had to take car service back home, so not only did they waste my time, my money, and caused me to miss a Dr. Appointment I waited over a month to get an appointment, I was infuriated, to say the least. They refused to reimburse me for the cost of car service both ways as well. Also, the prior time I was there a woman was having the same experience as I did. Traveled there and NO cars available after making a reservation. This location is poorly ran and those who work there are incompetent and nasty. I went to Enterprise on Rockaway Blvd, treated with respect, had a choice of rentals and they are very friendly. I WOULD NEVER USE HERTZ AGAIN. Stay clear of this location! Lastly...
