Price to do a tire rotation and balance was cheap, I have a F-250 diesel 17 they did the job then my steering wheel is going to the right and now it's bouncy told them it's wasn't like this they told me the machine says it's good plus we put to many weight on one wheel they didn't want to fix it. No money back or try to correct it weeks later my wheel almost fell of messed up my locking hub and studs broke off. Plus they wanted to sell me some rims I had the wrong size rims for the past 3 years and they're the only ones that found out. Don't go there !!! read more

I had some tires and wheels from my mustang put on my Ford truck they required spacers in order for them fit after leaving the front end was vibrating I took my truck back they put another spacers on my front end that didn't work after 2 spacers they tried balancing my from wheels witch came of a 2020 mustang brand new that didn't work I spent $480 and they wouldn't refund my money after not being able to fix the problem I would have paid for the labor but not willing to give me "NO" money back is bad business and a ripe off I'll be writing the BBB also by the way, I gave they cash didn't get a receipt I guess that was tax free money in the pocket read more

Commuting from Vallejo to the East Bay, daily, amounts to a lot of wear and tear on these tires and brakes. And since I have began to reside here, I decided that I need to find a place that can accommodate my needs, more closer to home. I reached out to my Father for recommendations and he said the only place that he goes to along with trust is, Solano Tires. He has been coming here for 10 years for tires and brake work. So as a daughter should, I trusted my Fathers judgement and went up there. He told me to ask for Mike, the Owner. I was like, okay Dad, you know the Owner...skip the middle man lol Mike was cool. I had them change my front and rear pads and rotors ( I did supply my own parts) on my 2012 Accord. My dad has a new Accord so I knew doing mine should be effortless. My driver's side tire blew out while on the freeway. It was dangerous and scary as I was with my family when it happened. I pulled over to the side, but the shoulder was narrow and didn't seem safe for the roadside assistance. I had CHP assist me by following me to the next exit, which was under a mile away. It was down to the rim only. It was a slow crawl from the narrow shoulder to the next exit. Upon arriving at the exit, the rim looked damaged and appeared to be unrepairable. Roadside assistance came and replaced it with the spare. I went to Solano Tires to have them check out the rim, and they agreed that it looked bad, but it was something they could repair. A couple hours later, as a walk-in on a Friday, they repaired the rim and added a used tire at a very good price. Mike was the shop owner and had a great team of tire specialists. It was a busy shop that had people in and out. If you have a tire/rim emergency, then Solano Tires is where you should go. Pricing is reasonable and much better than the dealership. I come here quite a few times because the workers I've encountered are good & solid & a really trustworthy tire shop (ADAM'S Tire Service) referred me here for a wheel alignment since they do didn't them. I would give more stars but I'm not too fond of the owner, every time I'm there I feel like the men or certain customers receive a different level of attention or responsiveness than I did. It's almost like you had to be a man or someone who looked like money to get some type of decent respect or attention which is bogus bc I pay full price & even tip the workers often. The bias is obvious which is like I get it, people are who you they are but it's obvious and distasteful & disrespectful. Called up Solano Tire and inquired about getting a wheel alignment today. I was told they could accommodate me, and quoted me their price (best I've heard in town!). I was there within an hour and they were able to take me right in. The whole process on their laser alignment machine took less than half an hour, and I was on my way! Your worst nightmare: rental with a car full of people and stuff and you get a flat. Fortunately, we were close enough to Vallejo to make it to Solano Tires. Or so we thought. We're in an AWD rental and they would only replace all four tires. We called the rental company and they would (rightly) only authorize two -- to keep the axle on the same type of tires. Nope, he wouldn't do it. I get how AWD systems work -- and of course you want to keep tires on the same axle the same. But insisting on replacing all the tires? We had to get a spare, drive the car back to Oakland, unpack and repack it. Thanks for nothing, Solano. read more

Everyone who lives or drives in Vallejo knows that it's a NIGHTMARE for your car and especially your tires.. there's always pot holes, random debris, trash, metal pieces, other car parts and roadkill on the road I discovered BOTH of my front tires were losing air frequently so I called Solano Tires to see if I could get them checked and probably patched. They answered quickly and told me to bring my car in and they could take care of me immediately. Luckily I had no nails.. but the manager was so thorough and nice. I brought my car to this place to unmount my tires on my stock rims and had them mount the tires to my new rims. They did not charge me as high as those crappy commercialized wheel/tire shops since they have reasonably fair rates. I was being rejected at their shops because they don't do mounting/unmounting unless you buy from them. I was quoted $250 at these ripoff shops but I only paid $80 with this shop, so I decided these men earned my respect and tipped them generously. It was my first time to drop by their shop and I'm a 100% satisfied. Shop owner Abdul is friendly and really makes sure everything is done right. Javier and Umar, and Mario were excellent and did the job with utmost and I'm impressed their speedy service. From now on this will be the only tire shop I would go to. I needed to have a tire mounted and balanced on a wheel for the spare of my truck. But I also needed to TPMS sensor moved from the existing spare to the new wheel. I was turned away at the Big Name shops that were open because they did not sell me the tire or wheel. I saw Solano Tires and Wheels open and stopped in to check. They were pretty busy with alignments and other customers but they told me it would be no problem. They gave me a GREAT deal and fit me in immediately on one of their open machines. I have been coming to Solano tire since I've had my car and have had nothing but the best experience. I've bought tires here and they always show me what I need and fully explain. My rims tend to get cracks (especially on these Vallejo streets I noticed, my tires wear WAY more than usual) and they show me where the leaks were in the water and they had to weld them to prevent tire leakage. They saved me from buying new tires and spending extra money when I only needed the rims welded. Their products are great quality and have never had any problems. Make a long story short. This shop replaced my old brakes with new ones. As I was driving home my brakes made a squeaking sound. I thought it would go away. I called and told him what was goin on he said come and by bring the car in. When I came in they refused to examine my brakes. He said I need need brake pads and new rotors. I knew my rotors were good. I asked him if that's the case why wasn't I told that when you replaced my brakes in the first place. Smh this place is a straight up joke!!
