I will start by saying, Petersen Dean was recommended to us, by my mother-in-law, who happened to be our realtor and broker. My mother-in-law has been in the home business for the past 30 years. I did my own research and found that Petersen Dean is not as well known in Southern California as they are in Northern California, where they are one of the leaders in the solar industry. So thinking we'll go out on a limb and setup an appointment, we did just that. We met the sales representative Gary Spicer, and listened to what Petersen Dean had to offer us. We always have had very high electrical bills in Lake Elsinore, especially in the summer time. Now we just had our pool and barbeque island built, and we needed something to cover all these electricity needs we have. Gary showed us how we could cover that and reduce our air conditioning use with Petersen Dean. We signed a contract with Petersen Dean, via Gary for added attic insulation as well as solar attic fans to reduce the temperature in our attic. This in turn will reduce our air conditioning use, as our house will stay cooler for a longer period of time. I won't forget to mention that we bought enough solar to cover our current electrical needs as well as padding output to cover any future needs, like a plug-in car. Gary and Amanda were very helpful and very clear in their communication explaining the process and time it will take to get permitted and installed. However, there was one hiccup and this is where I can "Petersen Dean takes care of their customers!" There was a misunderstanding on how many attic fans I was suppose to purchase. Petersen Dean not only rectified this hiccup, but rectified it to my advantage because they value their customers. This is a company that cares about their name and is not trying to make a fast buck or pull a fast one on their customers to get more money. PetersenDean Roofing and Solar was the answer to our needs! We desperately needed a new roof and wanted to find out about the process of adding solar. Our consultant was Rich Bruce, an up front, friendly and knowledgeable sales representative who came to our home at our convenience. His presentation was thorough and covered every aspect of roofing and solar that we could imagine. When we signed on, we were given a project manager, Sophie Barret, who kept us apprised of every step of the project. She always answered every question we asked...and we asked quite a few! PetersenDean's work crews were punctual, efficient, courteous, and obviously knew their job. We had absolutely no problems throughout the project. The crew that replaced our entire electrical panel worked from the morning to all the way to 9:00 PM that night to complete their part of the job; they didn't want to leave us without electricity overnight. That's the kind of work ethic and thoughtfulness we experienced with every PetersenDean employee we worked with. We now have a beautiful new roof with up-to-date materials and vents as well as a solar system that has already significantly lowered our electric bill. After speaking with Milo Razo, explaining in detail everything about the Petersen Dean Solar system and how is operated, we were sold. Also the fact that their product was American Made was a big sales point for us. After signing with Petersen Dean, we have experienced the best purchase and installation we have every had. Our coordinator, Gloria Stanley, was outstanding! She kept us informed of what was happening and when to expect the next step every inch of the way. If we had or have any questions, they are there to answer the phone and our questions in record time. The workers were always courteous and nice to explain what they were doing. I recently had a solar panel installation done by PetersenDean. The overall experience was very pleasing. The time between order and actual installation was a bit long, but the final product is outstanding. Marvin Jimenez, our sales advisor, was extremely helpful. I had initially expected that he would "disappear" following our order, but I couldn't have been more mistaken. Marvin was there throughout the process, answering questions and making sure that I got prompt responses to resolve any unexpected events. My #1 recommended roofing company for people who like their roof to leak more AFTER the roofer comes than it did BEFORE. Also great for people who like to have their time wasted, be lied to consistently about appointment times, have the entire job shut down for three days because one guy got injured at another job (I would have thought a big corporation would have more than one roofer, but hey...), and definitely best for those who want to pay more than anybody else would charge. I got my roofing done through Peterson and Dean. while looking for roofing I found a couple of companies in the market. When I took the quote, Peterson & Dean was not the cheapest. But after placing the order, I am extremely happy that I went through them. Very professional and courteous. Job done on time. When I called them for small corrections, they came immediately and fixed the issue. The customer service is superb .. that's what all it counts. I will recommend them for roofing. I had a good experience with the entire company, starting with the sales man Adam Jimenez to the installers which were fantastic. The pc kept me updated on the progress of the project. They have great financing options where other companies lacked. The electrician was great and had a lot of work to do because I purchased a big system which needed multiple inverters.
