We have lived here for over twenty years. The first thing we did was replace all the original windows, and had 2 tubes installed. That left us with a dark corner in the family room. We finally decided to add another Solatube and after some research picked Sun Aire and we couldn't be more pleased. Sami came to the house to meet with us and show sample parts to help us choose, looked at where we thought to place it and went through the whole process with us. Daniel arrived on time as scheduled, was pleasant, friendly, helpful and professional, even gave me suggestions and tips for the 2 existing tubes and venting the roof. He discussed the process with me, worked out the location with me and absolutely nailed it. The installation went quickly, without a hitch. Great, I broke my dome and needed to get a new one right away. When I called they were closing and leaving town for a tube convention of some sort and would be gone the next few days. I was a little frustrated and thought I would think about what to do and said I'd call back. An hour or so later I got a call (I hadn't given them my number) and said they had an install guy near where I lived the next day and he would have the dome I needed. Awesome, I got the dome 2 miles from my house. I am an architect and have been specifying Solatubes for years. Great product and this family-owned supplier/installer is great too. read more

We needed a 3x domes and 3x flashings for a Solatube Skylight with one of our re-roof projects and thank goodness that Sunaire carries them. Our client was able to saved a lot of money by purchasing the domes and flashing kits separately compared to purchasing the entire kits for 3 skylights. Maria and Sami are very positive, helpful and enthusiastic about helping me when I placed the order and our client mailed a check directly. As soon as Sunaire received the check payment, they contacted me ASAP so that I can pick up the items. Sami also assisted me in carrying the items to my vehicle across the street. You don't get this level of service. Sunaire went above and beyond my expectations. 5/5 Stars! read more

I thought I'd already written a review on this wonderful company, Sunaire, but I hadn't! What an oversight. Last year, we had two Solatubes installed in our home. Daniel was the installer. It was a decent amount of work as our house is old and the ceiling had some kind of hard metal sheeting he had to cut through - plus three layers of old roofing. He installed everything beautifully and was so conscientious and clean. The difference these Solatubes made in our home was quite literally "night and day". It went from depressing to cheerful in just a matter of hours. In addition, the employees/owners of the company were WONDERFUL to work with. They communicated how the process would unfold very clearly and explained all the various Solatube options to us. One of them came to our house to show us all the different options. True customer service. In addition, we got a hefty tax rebate on the systems which knocked the price down. Fast forward one year later - we had a new roof put on our house. The roofers "re-installed" the Solatubes and did what can only be called a "laughable" job. They literally did not even connect the tubing, damaged some of the parts and initially threw our new Solatubes in the trash heap! After the roof was completed, we called SunAire to have the the tubes properly re-installed. Sam and Daniel came out and were so professional and friendly. They were a breath of fresh air after dealing with our roofing company. They competed the work quickly and at a more than reasonable cost. I just can't say how pleased I am with SunAire. I love the light! The tech was great. Professional, courteous with our mask request. He took the time to explain what he saw in the inspection before he began work. The job was quick (despite being three10" lights), and little mess. Just dust from the attic (it does get everywhere, so more drop cloths on counters would be nice, but just be aware that you may want to move more things away from the work area). They showed up with 24 hours notice. They managed to squeeze me in on a saturday. The installer was very efficient, taking 1 hour to install 1 solatube in a bathroom. He laid out the tarp and made sure he didn't leave a huge mess. It cost about $507, but it was worth it. The bathroom, which didn't have an external window, is now bright and sunny. read more

Sunaire just installed 2 solatubes in my living room. I already had 5 installed in my kitchen and dining room by another contractor. The appointment was easy to schedule and the guys - Andy and Henry - were polite, efficient, and took great care to protect our furniture and artwork during installation. There was nothing to clean up after they were gone. It was also a tricky installation because we have solar panels on our roof above the living room. read more

Heavy rain was on its way early the next morning and our ancient solar tube from 20 years ago had started leaking from the rain the night before. We made a frantic late day call to Sunaire in the hopes of having the leak repaired before the storm. We were told we could expect an early morning service call. However, at 8 pm that same night Andy called asking to come by that same night to make sure the leak got fixed ahead of the storm. So after his shift was long over, Andy was up on our roof in the middle of the night, repairing the leak. NOW THIS IS SERVICE FOR YOU! We wanted to add light to dark areas of our home. Going to new homes and remodeled ones solatubes were the answer. I am a yelp fan for recommendations. Went on yelp to looked up best solatubes place in the San Fernando Valley and came upon Sunaire. We were not disappointed Andy came out on a Saturday, started work the following Monday. Andy is very professional, great explanation and recommendations on location of the sola tubes. We had four tubes installed and what a difference the natural light is in our house. Andy recommended one be placed in my dark bathroom, I am in natural light heaven putting on my make-up. read more

We bought our Solatube from this dealer probably 16 years ago. After a recent remodel, the Solatube's cover kept falling from the vent (we have the model with a vent to the outside from our bathroom). So really, it's quite a long time, but I called Solatube and that particular model was the first of its kind and they no longer make it. But they sent a technician out and he was able to make a new cover that's even brighter and white than the old one. The company said they wouldn't charge us for the service call if it couldn't be fixed but it could so win-win. Hoping for many more years out of our little Solatube that's brought sunshine into our little bathroom since 2002. read more

I stopped in their showroom and Sami was helpful in describing their Whole House Fan. Without a visit to my house, she knew where to place it and gave me a quote. When they came out to install, Andy was very knowledgeable and careful. The installation went very smoothly and the Whole House Fan works exactly like they said it would. I will be back when I want to put in some SolaTubes, but for now, the house is much cooler without using air conditioning in the San Fernando Valley in August! read more

We had 2 Solatubes installed - one in the stairwell and one in a bathroom. They are awesome! They provide plenty of light during the day to spaces that were otherwise dark and they have a solar powered light that charges during the day and comes on at night. The installation process was quick and easy. Service was prompt and the workmanship is first rate. We also had an attic fan installed which is keeping our home cooler. I highly recommend Sunaire. Solatube lighting changed the dynamics of our house. Natural lighting makes a huge difference. It actually is very cost effective and will save on electricity costs. Sunaire, the team of Maria, Joaquin and Andy are so easy to work with. Really like friends. Very professional. In one day our casual 1700 sq ft home was upgraded with 2 bathroom fans and tubes, and a Solatube in every room except the kitchen. 5 in all. 7 counting the bathrooms. What a major difference it makes. Joaquin jumped right into action in the morning, got on the roof, in the attic, up and down the ladders like a pro. Andy measured, navigated narrow areas in the attic, and made sure all was done right. And wow, what a team. Great attitude. There was very little to clean up. And Maria, well what a wonderful person to work with. She came in on Friday, after Thanksgiving Thursday, to open the showroom. By Saturday at dusk, all was finished. The back story on how we came to learn about Sunaire was from a neighbor with two Solatubes. A happen chance with a neighbor turned into a very positive experience with Maria, Joaquin, and Andy. And it fulfilled a dream of having at least one skylight. Now we have 7 Solatubes, bathroom vents that don't blow out your ears when you turn them on, and natural lighting all day.
