Me and Megan love this place it's one of our go to date night restaurants, the food is always excellent , consistent and the staff is always so polite and helpful. The chicken tenders , spinach dip and mashed potato egg rolls are all a must to try...even though this is a sushi restaurant the rest of the menu is phenomenal. Love the place, enjoy the food and such, but had quite the rough experience at the bar. Was simply sitting there due to the lack of seats. Had this odd older white fella sit next to me. Eventually he walked up and we sparked a conversation. All was fine at first simply asking about my perspective on concepts, (do you live more for people or yourself.) until the red flags started appearing. He started talking about this, "god called me to you" something another. Which got worse when he said "demons caused 9/11" at this point I was trying to get out of the conversation, ordered a to go plate and such. Guy still didn't get the memo, but he seemed genuinely unwell, so I didn't want to antagonize him. He eventually starts using my should as a prop up for himself, I could smell the alcohol on him, and he continues talking about the lakes of fire and how he could "see it in my eyes". Eventually he says something about following him outside to "continue the conversation" which I of course absolutely did not, however with him staring me down at the door I couldn't just nope out of there, I try to get the attention of one the tenders at this point but I don't quite think they knew what to do either. He eventually comes back in and is clearly fully unwell at this point, doing the crazy hand thing while loudly dropping the f bomb about how everyone else besides us were crazy and doomed, and how he needed to save me. Even after saying yeah I of course have already accepted god, he still wasn't convinced, finally at this point of one of the tenders gets the idea and starts standing nearby eyeing him, it was at this point he finally wondered off through the door, (which is worrying because he likely drove here). This experience was quite bad, and I worry for other people who get stuck at the bar area, as unlike me being a 6'3 guy, what if it was a short woman in this case? Who knows what could had happened. But anyways I just felt like ranting about this bad experience, the staff was polite, apologizing for what had just occurred after he left, I quickly said it was fine and quickly made my way out of the restaurant, just hope in the future not to have another run in with him. read more

We had an amazing experience at Sole Sushi! Maddy was great and was able to help us with a reservation when there were some cancellations. She was super helpful! It was our family of four to celebrate Valentine's together with our Clemson student and our waitress was Molly. She was fantastic and helped my daughter remember a particular appetizer that she had in the past. I asked Molly for a special Valentine's cocktail and she suggested the Cherry Lemon Drop- it was superb. Molly was attentive and gave us great service all night. We had Tempura Shrimp, The egg rolls that had mashed potatoes inside, about 6 sushi rolls, the Asian Chicken tacos and some awesome desserts- Chocolate mousse and Cheesecake. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back and maybe even score one of the super cool outside tables with a tabletop fire :-). First visit an although we didn't try the sushi, (wife not a fan of sushi). Service was spot on, was excellent to order, deliver and give check, no shearching for our server. Inside or outside were both well setup without crowding other groups. I had the black n blue tacos. Very good with plenty of filling. My wife got the Chicken Florentine, which was a generous helping. We visited this place tonight and the food was incredible. Our server was so friendly, however the hostess (I think her name is Ashley, she was in a long sleeve grey shirt) is SO rude and condescending. The way she spoke to us and other customers should not be allowed. If this is the first person who is greeting people in your restaurant, you would think they would be more kind and welcoming. Sushi was kind of bland with no exceptional flavors for the cost of a roll (17-20$). There was also a cockroach crawling on my wine menu, at the table while waiting for my bill. My wife and I were disgusted. I will never eat there again and I would hope to warn everyone who wants the eat here. We came by when it was really busy, an estimated about 1 hour wait time for a table. They had a thing where they would text you whenever a table was ready for you, which was helpful. The wait was worth it because the food was amazing. I had a taco, Pepperwood and chocolate tiramisu (?). The waiter was really nice the whole time and helped us take a picture with our food. Always a great experience at Sole. The best rolls we've had since moving to Seneca. Particularly the Dragon roll, Fiery Habanero, and the Sumo! Sometimes they can get pretty busy, so be sure to anticipate a short wait time, but the food is so worth it! read more

I've eat here almost every Wednesday for over a year. The food is always delicious, bogo Wednesdays and the edamame as an appetizer is great. Their "shrimp sauce" is called dino-sauce btw, you'll want it for your sushi. A friend of mine doesn't like sushi so she ordered a Parmesan chicken breast and it was the best chicken I have ever had. I can't say enough good things abt this place. You'll want to make a reservation on Wednesdays because they're packed. The Maine roll and the grove are the best! UPDATE: we are here Wednesday as usually for sushi and again Friday- but this time I got the honey glazed salmon omg it was amazing and my bf got a burgled with sour dough bread and grits and all were perfect. The sushi reminds me of heated up grocery store sushi. It's small and not satisfying ‍ the drinks are okay I guess. Pricy though.

Place is nice on the inside, plenty of TVs for sports and a large bar. Service was great. Staff is all friendly. Food on the other hand was awful. It had been a while since we were here last as the food was far less than appetizing. Decided to give it another try and sadly, the sushi just didn't stand up to the quality of a couple of years ago. We happened to go on a Wednesday when they had a selection of sushi rolls BOGO at half price. We ordered the most expensive roll on the BOGO menu which was the Shel Roll at around $17.00 and the Georgia Bullfrog which was less than half that price. The Shel roll was simply not good, the amount of fish per bite was similar size to that of a peanut M&M. If you like rice and chewy seaweed with little fish, this one's for you. The Georgia Bullfrog was much better but still with the ultra small portion of fish. We had so hoped for a better experience as we love sushi and live nearby; however, we were sadly disappointed. If you have to charge more to serve quality food, we're okay with that. Our meal was mediocre at best. read more

We took the opportunity after a football game to try this sushi place for dinner. It did not disappoint! The sushi options are truly endless because they will cook any of the fish either before they assemble the roll or they will do any roll tempura style for you. This worked out perfect since my husband prefers cooked rolls. He was able to actually share rolls with me since we were able to take normally raw rolls and have the fish contents cooked before the rolls were assembled! We had the Solé, Futo Maki and Shrimp Tempura rolls. They were all delicious, fresh and big! We also tried the spicy garlic edamame and would recommend it to anyone who loves spice. The past few times I've ordered during the shut down and just yesterday evening they have got my order wrong and I don't know it until after I get home. I ordered 2 rolls last night and it was about $24. I asked for no greens or veggies in either roll and they still managed to put it in the sushi. Eaten here 3 times so far and tried different rolls each visit, very good. 4 stars because we didn't know that you have to reserve for eating between 4 and 6, then, only after 6, they take walk ins.
