This store should be reported . . My daughter bought a pair of Nike Dunk Low Retro White/University Blue-White with the price tag of $325.00 but when I checked my credit card statement. I found out that they charged it for $525.00. They didn't even give her the receipt. But the evidence is in my card statement with the name of the store and date purchased! Bad business. A representative made a fair offer for a product. I agreed with the offer, then I returned as agreed with the product. Surprisingly, the representative denied making the offer--a number value that is flat & unmistakable--then, proceeded to lowball me [as if I didn't watch his eyes light up when I made mention of the product; as if I'm unaware how the value of this product will mature in the culture]. Any business that is willing to lie warrants a Heads-up to unsuspecting patrons. I tried to buy shoes here with a price tag of $190. When they rang me up, the total came out to $439. I was like WTF. How $190 got up to $439?!. The guy there said the shoes are in consignment... with a tag of $190. I wasn't born yesterday. They tried to add their insane markup amount. Unprofessional, and while I was browsing, you can hear them cursing and talking shiite about someone. They are the worst representation of Sole World. My 14YO son was ripped off today! He was quoted $360 on a pair of black & white low dunks. Ended up paying $420+ on a pair and was not given a receipt. Tried calling the store but there is no phone number. Reached security and they walked into the store who told them that if a customer needed to reach out - send an IG message. Not a good way to run a business, ripping off teenagers. Feel free to reach out and make this right. This place has a great selection don't get me wrong however the fact that the prices here are insanely inflated is what makes it not appealing at all. What I especially don't like is that there's no price tags on any of the items you literally have to ask an employee what the price is and half of them look like drop outs from high school. They just seem to make up the prices off the top of their head which is minimum $250 over retail. Atleast with other sneaker stores like flight club, cool kicks etc they atleast have the prices on the actual shoe. It's so sad to see the price gouging in the show community. It's definitely not like it used to be where you can buy shoes at REASONABLE retail price. Some of the people who work at this store are nice depending on what day you go, others are not really helpful. Anyhow my problem with this store is the crazy pricing on shoes! I get the exclusivity of some of these shoes but they over do it and it seems to me that they don't really have set prices, the employees just give you a number and see if you'll bite. Please don't shop here (unless you got it like that) look online first and save yourself the extra $150-$200 they charge just to pay monthly rent. read more
