The mac & cheese seemed like it was baked which is a plus for me. The only drawback is that it needed a little more flavor. Maybe a sharper, more flavorful cheese would help. I just put some salt and pepper on it and that helped a ton. The pickled beets were as expected - and I love beets! The platter also comes with a mini cornbread LOAF! Seriously, it's a good size mini. It was delicious, slightly sweet, and contained corn kernels. Also, a side of sliced pickles come with the platter and any sandwich. We were warned that they were spicy today and that was the truth! It was a bit over $40 for so much good food. We had to box up some of the food and it can definitely feed another person.
