The fluorescent ceiling light in my kitchen went out, so I decided to upgrade to LED. Solir performed the work quickly, affordably and effectively, so I want to support this small business with five stars Two areas I want to mention, however, for other customers: 1) The repair window was 1-2pm. This technician arrived almost an hour earlier, just after noon. Not a huge deal because I was home abd just eating lunch; for others, it may have been an issue 2) The technician spoke little to no English. He was a very quiet and polite young man that completed the task in about half an hour, but I had great difficulty communicating with him. This seems important to be able to ask about price, time, components, movement in the house, etc. In the end, the job was completed and paid for with some assistance by calling the "office"'on speakerphone, but it is something to prepare for. The person on the phone to set it up otherwise spoke English and communication was fine. read more

We had a great experience with Nick and David. We were dealing with an issue caused by a poorly installed water feature that ended up creating sparks and some residual burn on the wiring. They quickly identified the problem, cleaned everything up, properly fixed it, and reshielded the wiring so it's now completely safe and functioning as it should. They also took the time to check and help with our outdoor lighting, which we really appreciated. Overall, they were friendly and most importantly honest. Before having our new house's old pool replastered I really wanted to have the electrical redone, the breaker panel was situated oddly and was propped up by bricks. I wanted it relocated, and an automation panel added. Every electrician I contacted over the past couple of years has refused, saying they won't work on pools. Solir was the first company to say they'd do it so I hired them. It took them eight hours on a 110 degree day. They did an amazing job, everything looks great. I love the automation and now after the remodel we actually have a working light!
