Waited over 1hr and 30 min. Asked the staff if the wait was going to be long, she said many technicians so not going to be much longer. I was the third person. When it was my near my turn, a technician came in calling a name that no one responded. I tried to confirm if it was my name. Told her I was needing to leave to pick up my son from school, she gave me a glaring look and told me to go then. How rude! No explanation or apologies for running late. No concerns for people. I made an appointment for 2:30, came 10 minutes early like requested, waited over an hr and a half without anyone letting me know that it was going to be that long before the test could be done. I was pretty nervous about my first mammo. All the staff at Solis is really nice and made me feel at ease. I showed up 15 minutes early, as instructed, to do a little paper work, but the online booking (which was super easy and convenient) took care of most of my information. My appt was at 11:15 and I was out of there by 11:45. They were having a busy day, but managed to handle everyone swiftly and carefully. They now how to make an awkward situation comfortable, and I truly appreciate that. read more

Do not use this location (on 15th St in Plano). You will have to pay $ extra. One payment is for the service and technology, then you will get a separate bill for the dr. (facility) which is aligned with Medical City Plano. On the day of my appointment, I paid $520, then a few weeks later, I got a bill for $800. I called the billing department and explained that I was not notified about the extra cost. They told me there was nothing they could do about it. THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST NEGLIGENT CENTER I'VE EVER KNOWN. In 2017, my yearly mammogram was sent to Solis for interpretation. To start, the center could not find 20 years of past scans/films. Once the scans were located after many phone calls, I had the "all clear" from Doctor MINH NGUYEN. Fast forwarding to this August, my mammogram showed two growths. One that was DETECTED in 2017 which I WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT. Apparently, the good doctor believed I didn't need to know. The spot that was detected in 2017 had also grown by 3mm. My physician referred me to Sandra O'Neal Institute and I have since gone through a diagnostic mammogram and then a biopsy. At this point, I am hoping for the best outcome. I am sure this review will have a heartfelt apology follow up, though... read more

WOW! Is zero stars an option? My Ob-Gyn sent my initial order on 1/30, my appointment was 2/27. They called 2 days before to give me instructions (must have a VERY full bladder) and to tell me to bring my order. I informed her it was already sent over and she said "ok, I'm sure it's here, I'll pull it and attach it to your chart". I get there today with a VERYYYY full bladder, check in and am told they don't have the order and to call my doctor and have them re-fax it. I wait another 10 minutes and am called up and told they still don't have the order. I call my doctor while sitting in front of Noelle and they said they have received a confirmation twice but will resend it again Noelle gives me their fax number verbally and their office sends it a third time, while I'm on the phone. Then? Noelle says "well I'll have to see if they can still do your exam because there bus someone after you". NOPE. Absolutely not. So unprofessional with half-ass staff. Taking my pelvis somewhere else! And you should too. Added to include? I watched the lady check in front of me after receiving her "reminder email" and scheduling online. Only to have to reschedule bc she was 4 months early! She said "you sent me a reminder!?!?" And the lady said "well....you're actually not due yet so I don't know what happened, I'm sorry!!". This place is a scammer artist, take my advise as well as others, do not go here. First they asking for insurance, then they told us, they will charge us for less if we self paid. Of course we failed on their trap. After we fully self pay. They secretly claim on our insurance as well (that why they ask for insurance information at first) for over $2000. How did we find out? Of course, insurance mail us a statement. So we give them a call, they said this was human mistake, and said i only own them $700+ more in cash. WHAT A JOKE!!! Awful. Over an hour wait time. Male doctor for my 15 year old as no female doctors in that day. Didn't offer the cd or paperwork to me in an already stressful situation. I call to obtain the cd and paperwork and asked why they didn't offer that to me? The lady said "well, did you ask for it?" Then, was told I didn't sign a hipaa form. Not....ooops it looks like we didn't give you one to sign. Guess I should have asked for that form in my sea of forms. My fault again. (Sarcasm). She said I couldn't obtain the cd because I didn't sign the form. Had to speak to a supervisor at the main office. We will see if i get my paperwork. Won't be back here. You are in a very vulnerable state when going in for these tests and they didn't make it easy on us. read more

Ladies, be informed: Solis has merged somehow with Medical City. I am staring at a $649.00 bill for "outpatient services." This is ONLY a facility fee, on top of all other services. My insurance apparently did not cover any portion of it and I will be making calls to inquire on Monday. I do not hold out much hope, however. I just spent time reading facebook reviews and many other women have received similar bills with no resolution. Update: This has now been resolved to my satisfaction. I was told that bill was because I had not met my deductible and was not a facility fee, but I really do not know. It got to be very confusing before all was said and done. My advice is to ask questions upfront, when you make the appointment. Ask if there will be any bills on top of the bills for the test itself and the radiologist. read more

Absolutely disappointed, received a message on Wednesday after mammogram was done last week saying to call back because she (Sarah) needed to discuss the results of my test. I have called multiple times starting that day until yesterday only to be left on hold and be told "she is not picking up she will call back" or "she is at lunch maybe".. I have left several messages on her mailbox and still no call. That is quite frankly unprofessional and a complete lack of compassion for your patients. Please don't call and say such thing if you don't plan on following up. I still don't have an answer, and plan to never go back to Solis after being a loyal patient for almost a decade. I am a human being not one more number to call in this person's apparently overworked schedule. read more

Scheduling my appointment over the phone was fast and easy. I've been to the Plano location for the last few years. It's always very clean, warm and welcoming. Today I completed my registration with Gryselda. The process was quick & easy and then she walked me to the room to change, store my things and wait for my procedure. I had waited a short period of time when Cindy arrived and walked with me to the procedure room. She went over the equipment, she confirmed my identity and asked if I had questions. I was happy to see the round plastic top that has been used for a year now. Between the excellent guidance from Cindy and the new equipment, my exam was easy, painless and pleasant! They have locations all over, but I always go to this one that is behind Medical City PLANO. I Have always requested the 3-D mammogram, and it has never cost me a dime. I believe they now only do 3-D. They got all new equipment last year, at least at this location. You can schedule online or by phone. My experience is that they get you back immediately (except 2years ago when i was dumb enough to go late in the day on December 31st, when I'm pretty sure everyone with insurance was trying to get in), and there is never a wait. Top notch facility, and the staff is amazing. read more

I had made an appointment with Solis for a Dexa scan. When I made the appoint I had offered the order number from the doctors referral but was told that it was not wanted or needed. Fast forward to the appointment date as I check in and to my surprise the first thing asked of me is the order number? I explained what I was told on the phone by one of their staff. The only commit was "she didn't put anything in" and I needed to call my doctor and have the order faxed over. Yes, I needed to so I did and after the second time I asked if they had received the fax they said they would call. Yes, now they can call my doctor. I waited for an hour and half and then left. This was their issue not mine and I was pushed to the back of the line due to their incompetence. I was on time, I was early, I respect their time and the time of others. Why is it most doctor offices have no respect for their customers time? Yes, I said customer because like any other unhappy customer I am taking my business somewhere else. I made an appointment with solace on 15th Street in Plano and I called today to ask them to please run my insurance and make sure that I did not have to pay anyting since I had reached my deductible and out-of-pocket. I had an issue at an MRI the other day where they were saying I owe $246 but when I called the insurance I said I owed nothing. So I wanted to make sure before I went that they knew I did not owe anything. The girls kept trying to give me some numbers to give my insurance so they can tell me how much I would have to pay. I know I would not have to pay anything. She was not understanding that the insurance company was not giving out the right amount that I owed and that I have no money to pay them so I needed to make sure that it was taken care of before I got there. She sent it to the insurance information after I ask for a supervisor and just call me back to tell me but they could not contact the insurance company to find out information out. I would just have to wait till the date of the appointment then if I own anyting could pay some on it and then get put on a payment plan. Why would I pay anything when I know I have reached both my deductible and my out-of-pocket and don't have to pay anything. I canceled my appointment. they need to run people's insurance so people know how much they need to pay before they go. People don't have extra money to be surprised after a test. almost everyone I know has to budget in for tests like this. I would not go to solisbecause they can tell you that you owe any amount that they decide to tell you whether they run your insurance or not. I feel like they are stealing people's money and that is why they are not running the insurance. BEWARE. read more

Had a mammogram here several months back and they clearly seemed overbooked. Kind of like airlines do with flights, but worse. Ladies in the waiting room were talking about their appointment time, and they noticed they were all scheduled for the same exact time, all for a regular mammogram. There were hardly enough chairs. The nurses working there are all very friendly but it was obvious there is not enough of them. They even came and checked on everyone waiting multiple times, asking if anyone needed water or anything and checking to see how much longer it would be for everyone asking (seemed like it happened a lot) Why tell me (and others) can have an appt time when we can't be all done at the same time? I understand things happen and am used to waiting at appointments, but why take so many at one time? Nice facility, wonderful people, but shame on company for accepting that many at one time. Also, TV in the dressing room sure would have been nice, would have helped to lighten the mood in there. read more

This Imaging Center is the best. Every single person treats you with respect and compassion and the equipment and facilities are top notch with the latest technology. They also have nice little touches like wipes for the gel afterwards and mints to freshen your mouth. The atmosphere is lovely and everyone smiles and is reassuring.
