He had a broken leg at 10 weeks old and could not walk or put weight on it for 9 weeks and so his start was a little unconventional in socialization. I know he gets his fair share of play and what puppy doesn't like play? Since I did travel for work a great deal and as Covid subsides, my travel will start to come back. My pup has stayed overnight and I feel super confident as a worried Mom that he is well taken care of during his stay.

This location is new and she has been established in the area for 8 years. She had an opportunity to lease a large fenced in area and decided to expand. Dexter has been back 3 times and freaks out when we pull up. He is a golden mix and actually yelps with excitement. The hours are reasonable and their prices fair. He gets a little stinky from running around all day, but she offered to spray him with some dog cologne.

Agape is the perfect place for this. During the day (weather permitting) the dogs are kept in big outdoor pens on soft grass. Each dog gets their own pen, but they are large enough that our big boys share one. At night, everyone goes inside to their indoor pens. Jason is careful to keep all the dogs from having direct contact, but they can all hear and see each other so they never get lonely. I love that this place is laid back and flexible but takes great care of the animals.

THEY LOST MY DOG…read more Dropped my dog, Franklin, off on Sunday 11/27. Jason texted me Thursday 12/1 explaining they lost my dog... on Sunday, so it took him four days to contact me after losing my dog. Jason did not do enough when it came to searching for my dog. Did not post online. Did not hang up flyers. Did not help with search party. We recovered my dog after 12 days, but Jason and Agape Acre Kennels have yet to pay for the costs for losing my dog (flyers and vet visit). Overall, Jason is a nice guy who means well but he is not good at maintaining his kennel. There is no double gate system for dogs to enter and exit safely. Jason's lack of action after losing my dog was egregious. He paid me lip service and effectively did nothing. Also I found out they lost another dog a few weeks earlier, see screenshots from NextDoor and Facebook's Austin Lost and Found Pets.

She showed me this video of a mama dog correcting her pups and this is what the leader of the pack (me) does. I'm basically mama grunting at them when they do anything out of line or any thing I want to correct. Amanda is super cool and personable and can show you so many ways to get your dogs in line. There's obviously more to it than just grunting so make you're appointment with this company!!! My dogs are happier dogs! My dogs don't have anxiety and IIIIIIIIII don't have anxiety. I can enjoy my dogs now! It's crazy. It's totally working! No treat or punish training. My Cooper is not fear barking and lunging at people and my other dog Hunny isn't separation anxiety barking outside when she can't see me. It took one water spray and a grunt before she came inside; I closed the door again and she quietly, patiently waited to come in until I let her. Some dogs are a little more stubborn (cooper has been surprisingly) but it's working. Hunny fell in line immediately. My dogs aren't CRAZY! Amanda and I are working on leash training in 2 weeks. Potty/ crate training rn. No more pee pads. This is what I've been needing in my home. Thank you Amanda!

My dog had never been in a daycare before and so naturally I was a little worried. Every time I picked him up from the Bone Inn, my dog was happy and full of excitement. They really take care of EVERY dog in their care. They always have specials and fun holiday pics of your dogs!! Please go and give them a visit with your dogs.
