The kids working here are awesome.... but, the management is absolutely terrible now. Random pricing on mostly unmarked trees. Two different managers quoted me $330 and then another quoted $350 on the same tree! It was a mess. I cannot tell you how sad it made us. This has been a Christmas tradition that ended this year. The happy local, neighborly, family feel is gone. Were are going to Costco, or anywhere else, for acceptable prices. Nobody can afford an 8 foot tree for $350.

Trees are not cheap, probably average for the area (we didn't look anywhere else because it was 8 o'clock at night). If you need a tree over $250 there are many to choose from, if you want something under $100 go elsewhere. The younger guy was very nice and helpful. The older guy, who I assume is Dave, seems knowledgeable but also grumpy and is not helpful. I walked up to the counter and started to ask him a question, I got as far as "hi, how much are..." when he answered his cell phone (without acknowledging me at all). The person on the other end (he put him on speaker) said he was sending a family by for a tree, they should be there around 8:50pm (they close at 9pm). Dave let our a long, loud, sigh and hung up. Other than eventually answering my question about pricing for the cute little reindeer, he didn't make eye contact or speak to us once during the entire sales transaction, other than stating the total due. Maybe he was having a rough day (holiday retail sales certainly isn't a beach club in Bali). But when I commented to my partner on how annoyed he seemed, he said, "He was the same last year, remember?". Seems a strange line of work for someone who seems to not like kids, dogs, or customers. (Maybe he's incognito spy Santa with an elaborate cover story?)

I'm pretty cynical when it comes to people, especially around the holidays. But then, in the midst of all the insanity, you meet someone who reminds you why you once loved this time of year. Enter: the Tree Whisperer. We have been going to Frosty's for years now. The first year we got a tree from their lot, we told the owner exactly what we were looking for and he ran to the back, pulled out a wrapped-up tree from the bottom of the pile, sliced off the netting, and presented us with the perfect tree. We started calling him the Tree Whisperer because he seems to have a connection to every tree he sells. Their inventory is stocked full of perfectly shaped, fresh, green, fragrant trees. If you buy from anywhere else, you'll be paying for half-dead pieces of garbage. Go see my friends at Frosty's and I promise, you won't regret it!

Hubby bee lined it to the food stand, came back with 2 delicious funnel cakes and a corn. My picky son enjoyed the funnel cake and he loved the atmosphere. The people working and running around were so helpful and answered all my questions, Caleb was very helpful. They can even flock it to any color you want, which they have every color imaginable. The 2 guys helping to attach it to our car were very thorough and made sure we left making sure it wouldn't fall off. Next year we will definitely do the color flocking and delivery. They have a few picture spots as well as inflatables for the kids to enjoy.
