I recently ordered a few sports bras online and stopped by Soma to pick up my order. The pickup process was quick and easy, making for a convenient shopping experience. The store itself is well-organized, clean, and easy to browse. The sales associates were friendly, helpful, and available to answer any questions, which I always appreciate. This location is situated in a shopping center, so there's plenty of parking available, making it easy to get in and out without any hassle. I went to this Soma looking to exchange large underwear for smalls purchased within the last 6 months. These underwear were still packaged, still had the price tags on them, still the style of underwear they are currently carrying. I didn't even get to take them out of the bag, the woman at the counter said, "NO, this is against Soma's corporate policy, no returns after 60 days." I replied, I wasn't doing a return, I wanted an "exchange" for the exact thing, but a small size. The worker said this wasn't possible. I left very defeated, it is disheartening have your underwear falling off your body, especially when you regularly purchase their products (which they can determine by looking at your purchase history), and I wasn't trying to pull anything over on anyone. Current style, just different size. She just shut me down. Kept the bag in the car, went by a different store and guess what??? Not a single problem. They took the time to use the scanner, yes, current model of underwear still in stock, and they considered this an EXCHANGE not a RETURN; completely viable and permissible. Know your own policies, be helpful whenever possible to your CUSTOMERS, because, that is literally your job. read more

Soma has the best pajamas ever!! They are so soft and I love that they are available as separates instead of as a set. For gals like me that are a different size on top versus the bottom this is a godsend! The pajamas have a thinner summer weight versus a little thicker winter weight, but both fabrics are as soft and comfy as can be! And the pajama pants even have pockets- score!!! Trudy helped me do a bra fitting and she was very professional and knowledgeable! She showed me three bras to start with in my size and I bought two of the three! Giving two stars since I love my new clothing items. Fits well and satisfied with quality and sale price. HOWEVER the manager, Lisa, is very upfront, rude and inpatient. Not sure if it's because the store was so busy, the employee helping me (who was slightly older than Lisa) was new or that's just her daily personality. I was being measured by a new employee, or would it seemed like someone who was new. It took me almost an hour to get sized and to find three bras to purchase. No big deal because I have patience. But I went with my toddlers and they are toddlers. So they were following me around the store, laughing with each other. Remember, we were in there for an entire hour. Pretty hard on a toddler to be in a store that long. Lisa came up to me and said "there is a family room if you have a phone and they can sit in there." no thanks, I'm not going to have my toddlers in the fitting room while I'm in the store shopping. I also thought that was rude where she just said if you have a phone. We're not gonna shove a screen in front of my toddlers face. Not child friendly store. Lisa was rude to the new employee as the new employee was asking questions. "Where is this bra?" "We have someone in the fitting room who needs a different cup size." Every time this new employee would ask Lisa for help, Lisa was pretty short to her and said "do not talk as I'm talking to another customer." Or she would point and make a face belittling the employee for even asking that question. The good thing is, Lisa does know what she's talking about relating the bras. But it made me feel very uncomfortable and I'm sure the new employee felt the same way. Next time, different store or I'll even shop online. I'd rather pay a shipping fee than be in an uncomfortable situation between employees. So I'm posting this review in hopes that Lisa reads this so she self reflects on the way she talks to her employees and customers with toddlers. read more

I have been a long time customer of Soma/Chicos. This past week I started my holiday shopping at Soma.. first off the sales associate was very pushy, I understand sales and commission but this was uncomfortable. I was picking our pajama sets and I had a list of sizes, when I got home two of the sizes were wrong she absolutely knew they were wrong but wanted the sale. Felt unwelcomed upon entering the store when one SA saw my mom and I, had made an eye contact, but still decided to walk by without offering any greetings. No one checked on us to see if we needed assistance at all When it's time to check out, this SAME lady decided she would close her register because chit chatting with her coworker was more important than providing customer service when we were already in line and waiting. And guess what, the 2nd SA who rang us out was worse. No greetings, no eye contact, not even hang us the bag after wrapping up. My mom and I felt uncomfortable by her attitude during the entire interaction. Did we just pissed her off by spending money making purchases??? To management, we the customers who actually walked into your store to buy your products are the reason you are still holding your jobs. Think about how convenient online shopping nowadays. If you feel like we are a burden to you, I suggest it's time for you to revisit your employee handbook and learn about customer service 101 again. read more

I love Soma - especially their cool nights sleepwear. This location however, is badly managed. Two times now, I have ordered online and requested to pick up in store. Both times, the store cancelled the orders for no other reason than they just didn't want to do it. It is fine because I get free shipping but The first time it happened, I was buying for a gift. Instead of arriving with gift in hand, I had to have it shipped to her. The store just seems lazy. Okay, so, I've never been into Soma before, but after I snapped ANOTHER underwire, I knew it was probably time to get serious about The Girls. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by someone who immediately recognized the glazed-over, deer-in-headlights look on my face when confronted with a tastefully-arranged wall of demurely-colored lace and satin and luxurious modal everything. She very kindly asked me if I needed help, and I said YES, not without a tinge of desperation. I do not know her name, which is entirely awful of me, but truly, I was overwhelmed. She explained she was new, but she was SO kind, and immediately ascertained that I Knew Nothing and went to call someone who was more experienced with fitting. And then, there she was. Pamela. Pamela, my freaking hero. It was actually my first time being properly measured, and she and everyone else made me SO COMFORTABLE. Pamela is a fountain of knowledge and compassion and absolute kindness. Pamela asked me what I was looking for in a bra. I kind of faffed around answering, but she was very patient and eventually got the truth out of me, which was "Something pretty!" because, well, I am a sucker for high-femme accoutrements, at the end of the day. Pamela got an undeniable TWINKLE in her eye, and brought me exactly what I was looking for. The very first piece I tried on was the most perfect fit, the most gorgeous design, and EVERYTHING I wanted in a bra. Seriously. And THEN she brought me MORE things I wasn't looking for, but were entirely perfect anyway. Have I mentioned how delightful it was to experiment with different fits? For example, balconette v. full-coverage, lined v. unlined, etc - not everything worked, but she brought "sister sizes" and other designs until we found what was best. Because the items she brought ended up fitting so well, she very graciously asked my permission if I might show the fit to the aforementioned newer associate for training purposes. Which was actually pretty rad, because it had an added educational benefit for me, and made me feel more confident and informed for when the need for new bras arises again. It was just a tremendously positive experience all around, with the added benefit of an environment of absolute safety, respect, and comfort at every conceivable level. I'm actually quite shy, but Pamela and everyone else there made me so, so comfortable and at home. I learned some things in that fitting room. And the truth is, I'd never really taken the time to learn about my body, my measurements, or my comfort in this specific way. The general fitting room experience at large, for me, and I'm sure other women can relate - is often awkward, uncomfortable, disappointing, and hurried. Pamela and Soma entirely changed that for me. It's cheesy, but I'm truly grateful for that experience today. I didn't know such things were possible. But they ARE. And it's WONDERFUL. At no point in the entire time I was there did I ever feel pressured or that I was being fed a sales pitch. Which of course was additionally awesome. Earnestness goes a long way. And yes, Soma is priced perhaps on the higher end, but really, for the quality and service, it is entirely reasonable. I'm so pleased with my experience from start to finish, and frankly, I don't think I'll ever shop anywhere else. Big huge thank you to Pamela and the entire team there! You ladies rock! read more

I always have them look at the bras on me and they can tell what will and won't fit from my breast shape and size. Apparently, my girls are pear shaped and closer together. I just love Soma Intimates! Their panties and bras are very comfortable. And, they are so colorful, with bright colors. I feel so pretty and beautiful wearing Soma! The real plus for this location are the wonderful ladies who work there. Jan, Dana, and Kelly are the kindest and most thoughtful Sales Associates! They are kind, they listen to what I tell them I'm looking for whether bra or panty-related, and they can find exactly what I've adked for. I had a bra fitting here earlier in the year, and the experience was fantadtic, never had a bra fit so well, or felt so good!
