I drove my friend there at 6:30 in the morning and was told I couldn't stay in the waiting room because it got very busy after 7 AM I couldn't park in the parking structure because it was all Valet, which I could pay $35 for. I was told to park on the street. YEAH RIGHT ! When I went to do that it was all permit parking or metered parking. The surgery center should validate your parking and pay the $35. I had a procedure done at this place. They don't care about your well being ONLY about your money. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy. When I arrived I was told there may be a problem with my insurance regarding the anesthesiologist and my insurance. Before I got there I was assured it would all be good. I had met my out of pocket both in and out of network. It took them 2 hours to call insurance and finally take me in. Two weeks later SOMA surgical center sent me to collections for $35,000.00!!! I have been fighting with them for almost a year. When I call them, they hang up on me OR give me the name of a different person every time. NO L:AST NAMES EVER (for security reasons they say). They told me they sent me to collections because I didn't give them a $300 co-pay. Which they told me I didn't have to do. Also I asked them why after ONLY two weeks they sent me to collections. They never sent me a bill EVER. They had no answer for me. My insurance paid them the $300. BUT NOW they still want me to pay a bill over $38,000.00 (interest). Fidelity credit is holding the account. They are so rude and unhelpful. I have appealed this case with Blue Shield twice, and no luck. I just called SOMA again and asked them to provide me with the paper they claimed I signed saying i would accept responsibility and of course they cant because I never signed it. Now Im waiting for them to call me back (which wont happen Im sure)... with proof of this non existing letter. Ive been getting the run around from them for over a year. Unbelievable racket these people are running. DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL SCREW YOU BIG AND HARD AND MESS UP YOUR CREDIT. read more

We went to Dr. Ravaei back in June. My daughter is a dancer and she had developed terrible painful bunions. She could no longer walk without being in pain. We scheduled our consultation on a Sunday and we were seen right away. Dr. Ravaei was very thorough and has great bedside manner. We decided at that time we were going to have the surgery on both feet at the same time. He scheduled the surgery for the following week. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful. From the receptionist, nurses, anesthesiologist and of course Dr. Ravaei. He took his time and didn't rush through the surgery. He is definitely one of the best! The recovery was so much faster then traditional bunion surgery. She was able to walk with her boot within a few days after the surgery. She was able to go back to dancing at about a month and half. The doc is nice enough and the office is pretty but to run an hour behind schedule with no apology or explanation is beyond unprofessional. The front office staff just hides behind their desk and avoid eye contact. The furniture is pretty but extremely uncomfortable especially for an injury doctor.
