Both of these were served at the perfect temperature, were richly creamy, and served in large mugs. I also ordered a Carrot Cake Muffin and it was very good. It was moist, each forkful had a decent amount of walnuts, and the frosting was exquisite. Once you're finished with your food, don't forget to stroll through the entire cafe. We've been coming here together for years, and it honestly never gets old. The history alone is incredible. It started all the way back in 1937 during the Great Depression as a shoe repair shop with a little candy pushcart outside, and it's still run by the same family today. The second you step inside, you are hit with this amazing wall of pure chocolate and sugar nostalgia. They have absolutely everything packed floor-to-ceiling, from retro candies you haven't seen since you were a kid to massive bulk bins and rare international imports.
