Want to preface this with I love your margaritas! They are simply delicious which is the main reason why I come to your restaurant. Today I stopped by the Signal Butte location (closest to my home) got a medium margarita and guacamole and chips all to go. Got home took a sip of a yummy margarita, popped the top off the "guacamole" and was immediately disappointed. Now your guacamole" might pass in say a non-border state, think Wisconsin or Maine, but not in AZ! Seriously your @guacamole" had ZERO flavor, and was 100% avocado pulp. Are you kidding me!! Every single time I visit the drive-thru, whether I'm ordering something simple like a bag of chips and salsa, a taco salad, or full meals, they always make me pull forward to a waiting spot while they prepare the food. It doesn't matter if I'm the only customer in line with no one behind me; they still have me park and wait. Today I ordered a basic taco salad, sat at the window for about five or six minutes with no cars behind me, and they still asked me to move to the waiting area. After a long trip back home, my husband and I decided to pick up a quick dinner. We arrived around 7:30 PM. Not too busy. I got the 3 cripsy/hard shell taco combo which came with rice, beans, chips and salsa (no drink included). This plate was filling and satisfying. My husband got the chicken taquitos. We discovered Someburros by accident when trying to get breakfast at McDonald's (but they held us up in their drive-thru for 5 minutes causing us to miss their 10:30a cutoff). Not that McDonald's breakfast is stellar, but it was Sunday and Chick-Fil-A wasn't open. Anyway, Someburros was on the way home, so we stopped by for breakfast burritos. WOW! Both the egg, potato, and bacon; and the egg, potato and chorizo were delicious. The red and green salsas have great flavor and they give you enough to pour on each and every bite. The red is definitely hotter, but nothing crazy. They also have great refried beans. I happened to pick up dinner there one evening and went with the cheese enchilada with rice and beans. It was fantastic. Not just for fast food, but for Mexican food in general. There are a lot of choices for good Mexican food throughout the Valley, but this stands up on its own as a decent choice -- particularly for the convenience of speed and location. The staff has always been friendly -- though we usually order ahead and just pick it up from the shelf, so interaction is minimal. Incorrect items, missing items, they do it all.... And good luck getting it taken care of. We live 1 mile from this location but will drive out of our way to go to another location IF we want Someburros again in the future. I'm glad to find this place, as I miss the one I went to in Tempe while living in Ahwatukee. Now I live in Apache Junction & will frequent this location. Great staff here, nice clean restaurant, and such delicious Mexican dishes and combinations here are too good to pass up! Plus they have awesome choices you can have catered for your events! Staff is rude, especially Jay. She accused me of stealing lemonade when I paid for a large drink. She went and got the manager to confront me. They got the order completely wrong. I've been a fan for many years. I've tried just about everything on their menu and I will say that everything is actually very good. I would highly recommend the green corn tamales and their green chili beef quesadilla. Both of those are extremely good. I will say that my only disappointment is that they refuse to break a $100 bill which I was not aware of, so I decided to take my business somewhere else at that time. Never been here before but drove by and thought it looked interesting and different. Showed up around 11am and it wasn't busy, but as soon as you walk in it has a great Mexican aesthetic. They have a calendar of the month saying all their deals and specials going on. The people working were very cheerful and helpful when ordering. I got a quesadilla and it's a normal sized one; not giant but also not a small one for $10. Would do 0 stars if possible, I'm a roofer and I'm of color, I walked up doors locked so I stand beside the door, I didn't know it wasn't open but it was 8:45 and it opens at 9am. The white worker inside just looked at me standing here. But then.. a white guy walks up and pulls on door, and the doors locked so the same white worker comes out and asks what he wants to order, puts the order in off his headphones and brings him out his order by 8:52am.. if your of color: black, Asian, Mexican, anything, just be careful with this place. I swing through the drive thru a few times per month. I really like their machaca and egg burro. It usually comes with potato but I am not a fan of potato. It is sizable enough for me that I can get 2 servings from it. I also like their albondigas soup in winter. It is broth based and the rice is served on the side so it doesn't get mushy. Margaritas to go is pretty awesome. While frozen isn't my preferred style of margaritas, the monthly seasonal flavor usually makes up for it. read more

My wife and I will agree to disagree on this one. There are three things that result in a *meh* review. Neither of the sauce options are to my liking. The mild is too smoky and lacks zest. The spicy is also unremarkable and is not spicy enough to make it worth bothering. I prefer almost any other Mexican food over this. My second problem is the eat in service is not very fast, nor is the seating very comfortable. Lastly since I don't care for the food, we tried getting my food elsewhere and getting hers here...ONCE. She swore she received a much smaller portion than the eat in portion. We never did that again. I mean, the food is not exactly cheap. This restaurant looked really nice from the outside and has a great, clean interior with plenty of booth seating. Service by GM Bella was very friendly and professional. I had quite a lot of delicious food including a large beef burro, rice, beans, guac. chips and a very yummy frozen strawberry margarita(honestly it looked too cute in the nice jar glass to drink but I caved in(great drink on a hot day).
