Would do 0 stars if possible, I'm a roofer and I'm of color, I walked up doors locked so I stand beside the door, I didn't know it wasn't open but it was 8:45 and it opens at 9am. The white worker inside just looked at me standing here. But then.. a white guy walks up and pulls on door, and the doors locked so the same white worker comes out and asks what he wants to order, puts the order in off his headphones and brings him out his order by 8:52am.. if your of color: black, Asian, Mexican, anything, just be careful with this place. I know some spots in Arizona can be racist or "old wayed" but this isn't a good look for the buisness if you want to reach more customers. Thank you. read more

My wife and I will agree to disagree on this one. There are three things that result in a *meh* review. Neither of the sauce options are to my liking. The mild is too smoky and lacks zest. The spicy is also unremarkable and is not spicy enough to make it worth bothering. I prefer almost any other Mexican food over this. My second problem is the eat in service is not very fast, nor is the seating very comfortable. Lastly since I don't care for the food, we tried getting my food elsewhere and getting hers here...ONCE. She swore she received a much smaller portion than the eat in portion. We never did that again. I mean, the food is not exactly cheap. The hard shell tacos were filled with shredded beef, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. A serving of complementary tortilla chips when you dine in made my meal. The staff was helpful and kind. I swing through the drive thru a few times per month. I really like their machaca and egg burro. It usually comes with potato but I am not a fan of potato. It is sizable enough for me that I can get 2 servings from it. I also like their albondigas soup in winter. It is broth based and the rice is served on the side so it doesn't get mushy. Margaritas to go is pretty awesome. While frozen isn't my preferred style of margaritas, the monthly seasonal flavor usually makes up for it. read more

Yum! So excited to have more options near our home and I couldn't think of a better fast-casual restaurant to have in the mix. I HIGHLY recommend the pollo fundido for first timers; something about the creamy cheese with a little kick is just so satisfying! My husband loves the taco salads with green chili beef and it's definitely enough to fill you up. If you dine in, they provide a small amount of chips and salsa for each individual and you're welcome to the drink bar with a large variety; my favorite is the strawberry guava lemonade. Service is always fast and super friendly- yay for a drive thru option as well! I do recommend joining their rewards club so you get notified of specials such as discounted trays (a huge hit at parties!), $7 fundido days, National food days, etc. Definitely give this place a shot! read more

Showed up around 17-18 minutes to find the order was already completed and was sitting in the pickup area. The food was obviously cooked much faster than the 19 minutes and was cold. The food was okay. Nothing great. The meat was very salty. The salsa very chunky and runny at the same time. Other than the salty meat, there really was no flavor to the food. I was excited to see a Someburros opening up near where I live. I've been a regular customer since I stumbled upon the location at Mill Ave & Baseline 20 years ago. In fact, I just had an amazing green chili shredded chimichanga at their Market St location last weekend. Today I ordered the same thing along with a tamale with red sauce from this new location. It was like I was at a completely different chain! I realize they just opened but the green chili chimichanga had no green chili and was very bland. The red sauce on the tamale was disgusting. I cook enough to know sauce from a can when I taste it. I was going to be a regular customer but I'll have to find them some time to work out the kinks before I waste more of my hard earned money at this location. If the quality of the food turns out to be better next time, I'll be happy to change the review to reflect it. read more

First time ordering breakfast here. I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the El Diablo breakfast burrito which came with a basket of chips and salsa. They have a mild and spicy salsa. Both were very good! The El Diablo breakfast burrito had egg, cheese, chorizo, potato, onion, jalapeños, and sour cream. The burrito was huge! I could only eat half! This might be the best breakfast burrito I have had. Spicy, so if you want less heat omit the jalapeños. So yummy! I recommend the strawberry guava drink. It was delicious! read more

I go here because it's convenient. Every time I go, there's something weird. First, I get handed a drink in the drive-through that was so full that immediately the lid popped off and it spilled all over the ground, the side of my car and me. Next visit I order a quesadilla that's "folded". It was inside some aluminum foil. Immediately the grease leaks out of it all over the paper bag and onto the front seat of my car. I park and go inside to get a new bag and napkins. The girl working the counter was very nice about it. She even got the hint and gave me a plastic bag. She was very sweet and did the right thing however, the words oh my gosh I'm so sorry never happened. Which is not super hospitable. But still A for effort from her. The food is OK but very basic. I don't mind because I get simple things. But it's very frustrating interacting with this business when it seems like very young and not very well trained people are working there. read more

First time trying this restaurant, and it was a nice surprise. Its format is order at the counter and they bring your meal out to you, with self-serve fountain drinks and a few different types of beers. Basic Sonoran-style staples - tacos, enchiladas, rice, beans, etc. Good, authentic, nothing fancy but they do serve your food piping hot on real plates, with real stainless utensils. Theres a Someburros in Scottsdale near my office that I go to for breakfast burritos for the team and it's always been pretty solid. Then this place opened up a few months ago near my neighborhood so I decided to swoop by the drive thru and grab said breakfast burritos for my son and I. The food took over 10 minutes to get, which I understand that places are short handed so that didn't bother me much. But when I got home, I see that mediocrity is probably their high mark. So whatever I got in my bag of joyless food, has got to be a step down from that. The tortillas were so stale that all the edges of the burrito were broken since they had no pliability, there was only a squirt of salsa in each container. And as for whatever blend of goo and peppers that made up the contents of the burrito, I'm starting to think I should've thanked them for not putting much in there. Hopefully whoever is managing this place has their car break down so they have to find a new job so they don't have to continue to suffer because it's obviously not the right place for them (or anyone else for that matter). read more
