They have turned me away 3 times due to being too busy or running out of food. VERY Frustrating! You can bet there won't be a 4th time.

The ambiance was great the restaurant was very clean and the staff was very nice. We ordered chicken pad Thai but i was a bit let down. The pad thai was mostly just sweet with no other real flavor they didn't ask for a spice level which probably should have tipped me off that it this wasn't what I typically look for in Thai but the spring rolls were good with the dipping sauce. I really want to try some of the other items on the menu to round out a better perspective and give them another shot. read more

Seriously so yummy! We have ordered takeout from here a few times and it always hits! The Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are our favorites. The gyoza is fantastic, too. We've been going here since 2016. They have always been kind and gave a great selection of food.

Probably the worst Thai food I've ever eaten. Served in an aluminum pan with a lid even if you're eating inside. Two picnic sized tables and a counter with a few chairs are where you have to sit. No serve, limited menu and no one even around to ask for more napkins. We had their chicken pad Thai which was sticky and sweet, ended up digging for the chicken. Also their fresh spring rolls which had zero taste as did the clear liquid they provided for dipping them in to. Avoid this place and keep walking. read more

This was my first time at Somtum. The food is made fresh as the wait is about 20 minutes after you order. I'm not sure what seasoning they use in the fried rice but it was very good. The pad Thai was equally as delicious. The portions are generous. I made 3 meals from the rice. The only thing is that they don't have a soda fountain so the only drink is water. I was pleasantly surprised at this restaurant that is located in city center Eagle Mountain. I'll stop by again. read more

Staff was too shy and didn't have enough knowledge of the food ingredients. I have food allergies so this made the visit very scary for me. Luckily I was able to find their menu on here and read the ingredients. I ordered the pad Thai (no peanuts) and asked for them to make it spicy. This was honestly the worst Thai food I've ever had. My pad Thai had the strangest sauce on it. Best way to describe it is that it tasted like the Mexican condiment chamoy (which is good on fruit) but Thai noodles...not so much. I tried to eat it because I hate wasting food but after I few bites I just couldn't stomach it. Just too sweet and sour. Not what I asked for or was hoping for. And just with the little bit I did eat, I had the worst stomach pains. My husband and daughter order their curry which was just okay. I probably will give them another chance just because there's not a lot to eat around here but I don't really recommend. read more

I visited in June 2025. Super hot seafood soup served in disposable bowl was unexpected and unacceptable by my health standard. On top of that, my lips were swollen and numb for five days following having that soup. It wasn't the heat that burned my lips. I was careful to eat it with a spoon. I went back and asked owner if they used a lot of MSG. I was told they met food safety standard. I won't be back again. The ingredients were fresh. Food itself is no problem. Yes!!! Truth be told I have not ate here in a little while but I must say that the times that I have were good experiences each time. Also, I have only ever ate the Pad Thai from here but let's be honest is there any other reason you'd be going to a small Thai place other than to get Pad Thai. I am sure the other menu items are great too but the Pad Thai is the Star of the Show here and is definitely worth a visit to City Center Eagle Mountain to try. read more

Food is always on point. Service is family friendly. The owners always sat hello and remember you. Great location for Eagle Mountain City Center area. Was better a couple of years back. Now it's been more bland, less spicy. we live here, down the road from this place and go to further away thai places because, they are better. Vegetables are cut too large and you get no meat in the meat dishes. It's funny cause this place wowed me a few years ago but now it's kinda meh. Try Chabaar and Tea Rose or East Moon and give it an honest comparison. The food is good it's just not as mind blowing as it used to be. Stopped here during the last leg of our road trip through Provo/SLC. We found ourselves in Saratoga Springs to look at developments happening in the area and found this place to be just what we needed after perusing model homes all day. We ordered Pad Thai, Panang Curry, and Thai Fried Rice. Each was mouthwatering delicious and generously portioned. My two sons could not get enough. They have two long tables and an L-shaped counter w stools. I assume it can fill up quickly during lunch and dinner. My only wish is that they offered Thai iced tea. This is a fairly new place out in the middle of nowhere where we live, Eagle Mountain. First off the service is excellent with a capital E!. The food is just as amazing. This is one spot where my fellow Utahns actually got it right. It is a drive to have some good Thai food but I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Did I mention excellent service???? Some of the kindest people I've ever met. We've only been here for a month and we eaten here almost a dozen times. Honestly, great food! One gripe only... I haven't been able to pick up an order on time once. I have started going later and later from when it is estimated and it's never ready. I waited an extra 25 minutes today to show up for my order to still wait an extra 10 minutes because they said they made a mistake on the order. Yikes. If the food wasn't good I wouldn't be back. I've been twice now and found them closed because they changed their hours - OPEN 4pm - 8:30 pm M-Sat!!! The pad noodles - the wide ones with delicious big shrimp broccoli chicken and beef - ya might as well get it all if you're going to rave about how GOOD IT SI, right?!!! Go try this place! It's off of Pony Exoress Hwy and Eagle Mountain Blvd right next to Pizza Hut!! No signage on top of building to see we'll but the name SOMTUM is is painted in huge white letters on the side of it!! Get the Kow Soy Crispy Noodle Curry! It is weirdly addicting, but you end up loving and craving it when you're finished! The drunken noodles were also a safe and delicious choice. Both the curry and noodles had a good kick to them so be aware or ask for less spice if that is not your thing. The shrimp rolls were also so yummy even though they are simply shrimp wrapped in a wonton wrapper. So simple yet SO good. Comes with a sweet thai dipping sauce. Their portions sizes are large, so for me, it justifies the cost because I'm essentially paying for two meals (aka: leftovers) read more
