I love that this restaurant is in an old house-the character is absolutely charming! If you get lucky enough to sit in the bay window area in the little cut out, you'll see what I mean. Thai House came to mind. And it did not disappoint. Same charm, same great food, same great service as I remembered. Everyone in the party loved the food. The heat level was not up to the standards of one person, but I am a hot food wimp, so I ordered mine as mild as humanly possible and it came out just perfect. Go and support this local restaurant. Thai food in a cute little house but whoever gave this a $ rating must throw down some big bucks on a regular basis. No way is this a cheap place to eat...even for lunch. A lunch special will run you $12 inc tax and tip. For cocktail-sauce sized cups of soup, two bowls of your choice of two entrees, a cup of rice and either a flattened piece of fried chicken "satay" or a large veggie spring roll, you're not really getting your money's worth. If it weren't for the spring roll and rice, I'd still be hungry. That little bowl of sweet n sour chicken had very little chicken and a whole lot of sauce. Everything tasted great but we wished it was heavier on the protein and veggie side of things. So I've heard great things about this place and thought I would go check it out. It's pretty cool that it's in a house type place. The inside is pretty roomy but some tables are close together. It was a bit cold by the front entrance too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and patient. They even allowed us to get some of the egg rolls with meat. However, the veggies rolls were better! The gyosa was was pretty good and flavorful. It was slightly more crunchy than I like though. The curry was really good and there was plenty of rice for it too! I really liked the vegetables in it because they tasted really fresh. This was surprising to me and I really liked it. I would come back here just because of the taste of the vegetables in the curry for sure! read more

Been here twice and each time the food exceeded expectations. Tonight I brought more of my family (8 total) to eat here with me and they all enjoyed their respective dishes. My sister had their fried rice and said it was the best that she has ever eaten. We shared rice that came in a beautiful silver dish. Most of us ordered pineapple curry, it had a good heat to it, while the massaman curry was more mellow and had a creamy texture that was emphasized by the potato. The Beef Pineapple was surprising in that it had a nice sweet and saltiness that was well balanced. My brother had absolutely demolished the pad-siew, enjoyed every last bit of it, and my dad also enjoyed the thai orange shrimp. My family has ever so slowly been widening the horizons on food and this place was a hit. The only thing that would make me give this place 5 stars would be quicker service. There were longer spreads of time where we wouldn't see our server for a while, but we were able to use that time to enjoy our company. I understand it was a busy night, the parking lot was packed, but other than that we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back again. read more

Second, they didn't bring our rice for like a solid 5-10 minutes after our curry, and only after we asked. Third, all the meat tasted like it was boiled in the same awful water, and then chucked into the food. Fourth, the food just sucked man. I've been to quite a few Thai places, and I am shocked at how terrible the food was. We had yellow curry, mango curry, pho, and Pad see ew. Fifth, the price. It was wayyyy more then some of our other regular Thai places. But we have had this placed recommend to us by multiple people.. so we are baffled as to why other people like this place. Hard pass. Very disappointing food tonight. Spicy drunken noodles with chicken and sticky rice with mango were awful. I've ordered to-go many times over the past 8 years and have always been satisfied with the food. Noodles and chicken were cooked okay but no flavor and hardly any veg. A tiny sliver of basil, 2 small pieces of red peppers and 3 green pepper. Something has changed and not for the better. Not trying to trash the place as I love to support local restaurants but people need to know the quality is subpar at best. Their food is super flavorful and just SO GOOD. My go tos are yellow curry and Pad Thai. Yellow curry is a spicy dish and pad Thai is sweet. Each of these dishes individually are enough to give you leftovers for lunch the next day. I'd say a 2.5, had one crucial mistake in the entree imo. I ordered pad kee mao with tofu and spring rolls with fried tofu. The spring rolls were lacking severely. Fried tofu didn't even fill the whole spring roll, the sauce was a light sweet n sour (fish sauce, sweet chili sauce) which coated poorly. Made me feel I had wasted money. A different variety of veggies for a vegetarian version of the spring rolls would have made it way better. That wasn't the case here. Also, for the same price I'd have been happier getting a meat version so at least the price would equate with the ingredients. The pad kee mao was decently cooked. I liked the balance of the ingredients for the vegetables. The clear misstep was that the sauce for it was incredibly salty. Bar none, I like salty. This was too much. It soaked into the noodles and made everything hard to eat sitting at the bottom of the dish. The nice thing was was that everything was cooked well. If the sauce itself could have been fixed, everything else would have fit the bill. read more

I tried Thai house years ago and was unimpressed. A couple girlfriends and I have taken in the challenge to try all the Thai restaurants in the area to find out favorite. And I decided to give Thai house another try. I had a sample plate with pineapple curry, Tom Ka and chicken satay. The chicken satay was over cooked and tough. The pineapple Curry was good, but has huge prices of peppers cut in jagged chunks. If your not going to provide a knife at least cut the vegetables in a uniform and bite size shape. The rice was mushy and just clumped together. The flavor of the soup was good, but missing chicken as it was mostly made up of broth. Waitress? What is that? I wouldn't know because ours was missing most of the meal and the restaurant was pretty empty. She walked past our table several times and couldn't be bothered until almost at the end of our meal we had to ask for water. Needless to say I wasn't a fan of Thai House. read more
