I really enjoy coming to Sonata Park--it's such a peaceful and welcoming place to spend some time. Today, I'm here for a special reason: to support my godson at his youth league soccer game. It's always great to see kids out there giving it their all, playing hard, learning teamwork, and just having fun. The energy on the field is contagious, and it's heartwarming to see all the families and friends gathered around, cheering them on. Being part of moments like these--no matter how big or small--means a lot to me. My fiancé and I brought our dogs here for the first time! This park is beautiful and clean! There's two large fields where your dogs or children can run around! There's benches around the pathways for you to sit. There are also shaded areas where you can have a picnic on the tables and grill your food! The park also has two parking lots! Along the middle of the park, there is a path where you can walk or run! This park includes a tennis court and a basketball court! We definitely will be back here! read more

This playground has a medium sized playground more geared to small kids and toddlers. The main reason we come here is it's one of the few in the immediate area that has sand, which my daughter loves! FYI the play structure is not gated. There is also a lot of grass and a very large field. We actually had a lot of fun just running around on that grass! There are plenty of seats, shade, water, and parking (with a small, dedicated parking lot). Plus, there is a large shaded area with probably 10 to 15 cement picnic tables. Sonata has an industrial style bathroom with metal toilet bowls. read more

One of my favorite parks so far!! First impressions are everything. Right when I got out of the car, my first thought was "I like it already." Pros: 1. Lots of parking. 2. Clean jungle gym. Yes, there is only one jungle gym for all ages, but it's nothing too crazy. Extra points for the little cars, which my son enjoyed riding. 3. Huge grassy area for sports, picnics, etc. And the grass was actually green, kudos!! 4. I liked the walkway around the whole park. Since the park also serves as a flood reservoir, the uphill walk adds a little workout. 5. The basketball and tennis courts are very maintained. 6. There is also a covered picnic area for parties, which requires a reservation. My only dislike is that there's sand in the play ground area, which ends up in your kid's shoe. We arrived on a Sunday morning and to my surprise, there weren't a lot of people. Just a couple of families with their kids and people on the tennis courts. With this park being in the Seven Hills area, it's no surprise that this park is amazingly well kept. I can see many future visits to this park. And I'm definitely going to take advantage of the large open field once my son starts to ride a bike. read more

Damn, after finding this park, I may need to rethink my aversion to living in Anthem- does every neighborhood have such beautiful and well-maintained parks?! This is a gorgeous space to have in your backyard if you're lucky enough to live nearby. Parking is ample, and this area is very child-friendly: there are soccer practices here on weekdays along with a play ground area, basketball and tennis courts, and CLEAN bathrooms. My favorite part is the trail, which stretches from the main parking area, through various subdivisions, and tunnels under other roads. It's a pretty decent workout to jog one end to the other, and there's a bit of elevation gain. Note that there are adult exercise groups that meet here various weekday mornings, and the park gets very crowded with kids after school, so plan ahead if you're expecting a tranquil experience. read more

I appreciate neighborhood parks that function as green space along walking trails. With that in mind, I appreciate Sonata Park, which functions as green space along Seven Hills Trail. On my three walks through Sonata Park, I was passing through on a hike along Seven Hills Trail. Sonata Park is in a scenic spot of Seven Hills Trail. It sits at a higher elevation. A few hundred feet from Sonata Park, Seven Hills Trail provides spectacular vistas of the Las Vegas Valley. A manicured field of grass is the beautiful topography of the park. It is an inviting place to play ball, fly a kite, and relax. The lush vegetation that borders Seven Hills Trail is prevalent in Sonata Park. In the vicinity of where Sonata Park narrows to the Seven Hills Trail at the Seven Hills Parkway tunnel , bunny rabbits are active. In the trees above, all kinds of birds are active throughout the year. Sonata Park is enveloped by attractive upscale homes that sit at a higher elevation than the park. The nice thing is that I could park in the parking lot-sufficient parking-and be rewarded with spectacular scenery hiking in both directions. Southbound I could walk to Anthem, where the Seven Hills Trail provides spectacular views of the Valley. Northbound, I could walk toward Vivaldi Park where there are spectacular views of the Valley and Henderson Airport. read more

Really nice park with basketball courts, walking trails, playground, covered picnic areas and tons of benches. The grounds are nicely manicured and there are TONS of cotton tail bunnies hopping around. The blooming trees make it smell wonderful at sunset. This place is pretty close to where I live so it's a nice park to take a walk in - there seem to be a lot of kids who play on the equipment and there is a HUGE field where people could play an impromptu game of soccer or Frisbee or whatever. read more

I don't know if its the Seven Hills, but this is one of the best parks I've seen since I've been in Vegas! It's not too busy, so maybe that's why is so clean, or that's what I used to think till today, when I saw the cleaning people! I've had taken my puppy to the vet earlier in the day and after that took him to Sonata Park! Today, all by myself for over 20 minutes, well and the cleaning team! This is not a 'dog park', is a everybody's park, kid, parents, grandparents, oh, and dogs are welcome too :) read more

Absolutely beautiful park with opened grassy area! Towards the evening you could even see a lot of wild quail and bunnies roaming around. Trails were paved and very wide, with some shades in some part of the route! It's a bit short maybe 0.8 miles round trip so perfect for leisure walk! read more

On cooler days and evenings we like to venture to parks and connect with nature. Sonatas park is so far one of favorites. Its clean; not a lot of debris and trash, the landscapes are well maintained and when we have kids visiting there is plenty of climbing and swinging here. Sonatas is a pretty big park and the other park patrons have all been polite. We were even considering getting back into tennis once cooler months arrive and using the courts here. Hiking trails at this park are fun too. read more

Funny I walk by the other side of this park all the time when I am walking on the trail through my community and never stopped here before. The bathrooms was clean as well as the surrounding equipment and are. The huge field was perfect to let my dogs stretch there legs and I was able to get a flight in with my drone. Pretty much any park located in Seven Hills is fabulous, but I love, love, love Sonata Park. There are about 3 parks that are located closer to where I live in Seven Hills, but I always make the little bit longer trek to Sonata. This park really has everything you could want/need. Great kids playground with all the fixings (slides, monkey bars, tunnels, swings, etc.), tons of covered picnic tables, grills, basketball courts (with lights for night! A+), tennis court, sidewalks that are perfect for walking all around, and a huge field. I've been coming to this park to workout for about 3 months now and the field is NEVER crowded. There have been a few times where there's been children's soccer practice going on, but there is enough space to do that on one end of the field and still allow me to peacefully work out on the other end. The lawn is always well maintained and the park as a whole is very clean and kept up. Enjoy this gorgeous weather we're having and take a trip out to Sonata before the blazing summer heat hits us! This park is amazing hands down! It's in a very wealthy area. The park is well taken care of. There's a lot of room for picnics and sports. Has a great playground for kids of all ages which I love since my son is only 7 months old. There's a tennis court, basketball courts, bike/hiking trails, and alot of shade. I love that this quite park is in our area. & if you're in the mood for a long stroller walk this place is very nice since it connects with Vivaldi park through a cool long tunnel. Great park for dogs also. Lots of station bags along the whole park. Over all an amazing family park. read more

This was a fantastic park a few years ago. Grounds keepers no longer pick up leaves or prunings, they blow/throw them into the surrounding bushes. A big renovation by the Division of Forestry took out a lot of dead/dying brush. It's been replaced by smaller vegetation and covered with rocks shaded with a dark maroon coloring. It now looks like the planet Mars! read more

We where there for several hours and you would have thought we rented out the entire area because we where the only ones there. This park is very nice but at night, it is poorly lit. It has a nice field vast in size as well as well kept tennis and basketball courts. Lots of people come to bike ride, walk, dog walk, etc. read more
