Cool thing was, after we got back on the road, we wanted to find a place to eat breakfast. We got off the beaten path and stopped at Crystal's Country Diner in Mount Washington, ( catch my review on this place!! ) where I had the best sausage I have ever had! When the owner came and introduced herself, I couldn't help but ask if they made that sausage in house. She was quick to let us know that it was from Old Delaney's! Needless to say, they will definitely be a stop when we return to Ky!

Noticed this after I called and basically was told to go screw myself. So I figured calling back would be pointless. Needless to say, I won't be ordering online anymore from them. What happened to customer service? There's no more integrity.

The total was close to $70 for a two-person meal. I could no understand how the meals alone were a bit over $50, it did not feel like 2lbs per person, but then again I did not pay attention to the scale. The food was not very hot by the time we sat down to eat, and it was very crowded at 11 AM. The employees were meh but then again, it was a holiday so I appreciate their presence. We still had a good time, the food was good, but I am not sure if I'd return (mostly due to the cost). It reminded me of sprouts or whole foods, just smaller.

Whenever I have a special occasion that I can justify it, I'd love to come and request a specific cut of meat here. In addition to meat and deli, they offer all sorts of goodies, treats, and things to make your meats taste better. It's always nice and clean inside, and even though it's a little tight that's never been a problem. My only beef (pun very much intended) with Boone's is that they're closed on Sunday, so I can't go to church and get my butcher shop shopping on the same day. Love Boone's, would highly recommend.

There were so many Kentucky Proud products--candles, chocolates, coffees, and more. I loved that there were so many gift options (and things I wanted to take home for myself!) In the back of the store was a section of books by Kentucky authors/about Kentucky/take place in Kentucky that I could have spent so much time browsing. I ended up picking up the cookies and cream cookies which were amazing. One of my favorite things to get is a little square peanut butter nugget covered in chocolate. When I tell you, it's 1 million times better than a Reese's it is unbelievable. They have a few different versions so make sure you get the little squares. Those are the best. They also have caramel covered marshmallows, which are decadent.
