Friend and I shared 3 dishes, Yellow Curry w/Chicken, Basil Sauce w/Chicken, and Pad See Ew w/Beef, They were all excellent. The curry has a somewhat soupy consistency which I like, and the best part where the potatoes, which I find are hard to cook properly but were perfect. The basil was level 3 and was the perfect amount of spicy. The pad see ew was loaded with beef, noodles, onions, and carrots. I will be back again! Also, our waitress was nice, and pretty cute. I gave it a couple of tries over a few months but was disappointed every time. Still giving two stars because the servers there are lovey. I didn't have high hopes when I visited this restaurant so this review is easy to write. The wait staff here was moderately nice, and seated us quickly. We ordered our lunch and when it came out I was suprised. What I want to review here mostly is the shrimp padthai. The shrimp, was nicely done, not overly dried put or over cooked. They could have added a few more shrimp and this would have been a better meal, but....they really load you up on the noodles....which are reminiscent of thin spaghetti.....I was disappointed in this. I really don't want to write this since the owners are close friends of my brother. But I mentioned our concerns while we were there eating several weeks ago , and the waitress didn't do enough in my opinion. Our soups were SO SALTY , we couldn't eat them. My wife is diabetic & needed to eat right away so she did attempt to eat some of hers. I pushed mine away after 2 bites. The waitress did take my soup off the bill. We had some spring rolls & they were good. We ordered shrimp pad Thai to share. It's such a large portion, we knew there would be plenty for both of us. This time it was so sweet, it tasted like straight sugar with noodles. Again, we pushed it away after a couple bites. We decided to leave & went to the counter to check out. We told the waitress we were unable to eat our lunch & why. She said Well everyone else really likes it, not sure why y'all think it's too sweet. What?? Normally I would have asked to see a manager but out of respect for the owners, I didnt. When food is inedible , it gets removed from the bill. We paid the bill & left. Like I said, it pains me to write this but they need to know that someone in the kitchen has a heavy hand & it needs to be corrected. read more

Great food and friendly staff. I have just recently tried this place and have been back 3 times in two weeks. My favorites are the spring rolls with fish sauce for an appetizer, Pad Thai level 3 (spicy) for a meal, and let me say, you will definitely have some leftovers. If you are in the mood for a soup I would suggest the Tom Yum, it's a seafood soup with clams, mussels, shrimp, squid and the base sauce is a spicy seafood broth infused with chilly oil, ask for a side of pad Thai noodles to add to the soup. This place looked ok inside. The waitress was sweet in the beginning. We ordered 3 different dishes and pad thai that is our favorite thai food. The table was all sticky and the booster seat too. The waitress asked how hot we wanted our food from 0-5. We said mild, zero for 3 and the last one a 2. The cashews chicken was delicious and perfect. I just wish there was more white rice. It comes a cup of white rice and the chicken bowl is like 4 cups of food. Anyways, the mild pad thai was not mild at all. It was as hot as the mildly hot that we ordered. I had to share my chicken because my guest couldn't eat her shrimp pad thai that was hot. When the waitress finally showed up we mentioned to her and her response was "have you eaten thai food before?" Are you serious?!? She didn't apologize or anything... And my guest was waiting for her refill after such a hot dish and the waitress wasn't nowhere to be found. She finally came back and said: "the cook said he did zero" so pretty much she is calling us liars. Because if I have 2 dishes that are mild, and 2 are but the 3rd one isn't, something is wrong!!! Then she brought the check and I was surprised to find out she charged me for an entree $13 that we only got a bite for it. OMG!!! I am never going back to this place. The pad thai was only spicy. It was all very tasty, but nothing astounding. We would have better ejoyed some plate lunches with variety. It was hard to get a sample of the menu and quite expend for lunch. My favorite place in Houma! The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable. I love being able to browse the coolers for my beer. The red curry is amazing. The "heat" must depend on who is cooking, but that doesn't bother me. They also have a huge selection of beers in their very well stocked refrigerators, which did seem strange for a Thai restaurant but can never have too many beer choices, right?
