I loved the crispy fried tofu and the lemongrass soup with shrimp. Their fried tofu sauce was a wee bit different than I'm used to but I asked for hoisin sauce and it was perfect, the fried tofu itself came with yummy cucumbers in a sweet sauce and that was a perfect accompaniment. The Lemongrass Soup is bomb, with amazing flavors all mix d together. I asked for 3 stars and that was "my bad." I guess their 3 stars is super hot. Next time I'm doing 2 stars.

Great food w large portions in a very casual and open setting. In addition, the service is great & the price very reasonable. We had 2 appetizers w 2 entrees and it was still under $50. Highly recommended!

This place is pretty darn good! Outside it is your standard metal building but it is spacious and comfortable inside. The wait staff were friendly and accommodating. I had the crab puffs and the chicken noodles. 2 out of 5 spicy was enough for me but then I am not too much of a spicy food guy. Prices were fair for the portion. I came away full and satisfied!

One of my favorite places to dine when in my home town. The food is always great and the portions they give you are out of this world. A must check out spot if you are looking for real food in Houma. Or you could just go eat at one of those chain joints that are a dime a dozen. Nah I think I'll pass, hopefully you do the same. Check out Song Phi Nong, you won't be disappointed!

Masaman curry is my comfort meal, nothing else comes close to it. This review is about the service I received on 8/8/26. I ordered lunch through Toast app. I was planning on leave a cash tip during pick up. I ordered three items, including dessert. While checking the bag I found they changed the cheesecake I ordered for a Doverge cake. I dislike this cake, so I requested a refund they reluctantly gave me. I asked for utensils as there were none in the bag and then I looked up and noticed the angry faces of the two men in the kitchen. The waitress told me they don't give utensils (first time In my history ordering with them!). I ordered two different plates so I insisted on having two sets of utensils and stayed by the door until someone came and gave them to me without even looking at my face. I felt sad, but I thanked them and left with a sour taste. I'm not assuming anything, just stating the facts of what happened. I don't know what they treated me like this. I felt my happy meal was ruined by unkind and rude staff members today. Pomelo's food is so good. We deserve better service.

There are a lot of Thai restaurants in New Orleans that are good, but Budsi's is one of those places that just hits differently. What keeps bringing me back is the flavor. There's this perfect balance of heat, savory richness, and a touch of sweetness that makes every bite so satisfying. It has that bold, layered flavor I'm always looking for in Thai food without anything feeling overpowering. And the chicken Pad Thai is AMAZING and I don't say that lightly. The flavor is so good, and it's one of those dishes that I find myself craving specifically. I can venture out and try somewhere new, but eventually I'm thinking about that Pad Thai again. That's what keeps bringing me back to Budsi's. I'm always willing to try a new Thai restaurant, but somehow Budsi's keeps reminding me why it's one of my favorites. Some restaurants are good for a visit, and some become your spot. Budsi's is definitely one of mine.

Thai food can sometimes be hit or miss for me, and I'm usually pretty particular about what I order. I don't tend to branch out too much when it comes to Thai food because I already know what I like. But this place definitely impressed me. From the rice dishes to the noodle dishes, everything was seasoned perfectly and packed with flavor. Each bite was delicious, and I really enjoyed how well-balanced all the flavors were. It was the kind of meal where you just keep eating and forget you were supposed to take pictures in the first place! The restaurant itself is spacious and has a really beautiful aesthetic. I loved the combination of the artwork and exposed brick walls. Together, they create this rustic, cozy feel that makes the space feel both stylish and inviting. The ordering process is pretty simple. They give you a menu when you arrive, and then you head up to the register to place your order and pay. The food came out surprisingly quickly, which was definitely a plus because I was hungry! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here. The food was flavorful, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was quick and easy. I'm glad I decided to give this place a try, and I'd definitely come back to enjoy another meal here.

I thought we were going to another place when one of my guests suggested Thaihey across the street from the fire station on Decatur. Yes, sure. It's a typical Quarter restaurant with its long gallery seating. We were seated right away. The menu appeared to be heavily vegetarian which was great for my two friends. Many will understand the limited menu options for vegetarians at most places. Wes ordered Tom Kai, Becky the Massaman Jackfruit option and I the one with short rib. It was delicious. It was warm and comforting, full of flavor and the chef made it less spicy for me. What a delight to choose a menu option that I have never had and restaurant that I have never been to.
