I've been bringing my kids to Dr. Dhillon ever since we moved to Tracy 20 yrs ago, and I don't mind the commute because the quality of the service is very well worth it and I couldn't be happier with the care we've received. Their personnel always greets you with a big and nice smile and for my now two adult sons that still come to her office that says a lot! I continue to bring my youngest, I still don't mind making the drive to Livermore, it's still 100% worth it! I started going to Dr. Dhillon about twenty years ago. On my first visit, she spotted a problem that was potentially life threatening, and strongly encouraged me to go to my medical doctor to have it checked, and if I did not have one, she had a referral in her hand. My doctor had me in surgery in less than two weeks to deal with it after I saw him the next day. Sonia Dhillon is the most compassionate health care professional I have ever had, and is willing to work with schedules and the vagaries that life throws at us. I started going to Dr. Dhillon about 2 years ago, and I will continue to go back to her. Dr. Dhillon along with the rest of her staff are very friendly and kind. When I first started going I was nervous about how much it would cost because my insurance only covered so much, but they made me a treatment plan and also let me know upfront how much it would be out of pocket for everything. When I was having pain due to my wisdom teeth Dr. Dhillon called me right away and scheduled me for an appointment that same day. Not only was that a huge relief but it was also so fast and not at all as painful as I was expecting it to be. Great experience, Dr Dhillon and all the staff were amazing! I had a filling fall out and they were able to get me in the morning I called. I needed up needing some other work too, but everyone was very kind and helpful. Dr Dhillon explained everything to me even when I needed to walk through it a few times. I hadn't been to the dentist in so long and had such bad anxiety about going in thinking I would be judged. I decided to give Dr. Dhillon a visit and felt so safe, welcome, and comfortable right off the bat. The staff here is wonderful! Dr.Dhillon cleaned my teeth and extracted four teeth, replaced them with a temporary partial denture. This whole process took a few appointments which helped me ease back in to being at the dentist. I was explained and walked through every part of the procedure and made to feel very comfortable. I was having teeth pain for 2 straight days and could not sleep. Dr. Dhillon and her team was able to squeeze me in their busy schedule for an emergency wisdom teeth extraction a couple days later, and as a first time patient! Don't ever go to this place. I don't trust anything they say. I go for a cleaning all they do is take ex rays. Say I need deep cleaning, I get it done . They went through that in 25 minutes for both sides. Charged me 195 when my insurance paid all of it but 155. But I owed 195 to them makes no sense. They will make extra charges. Put random charges in. I get two free cleaning a year. My dad just passed away I miss placed my antibiotics. Cuz my mind hasn't been right with all the stress I have been going through. They are trying to make me go in to get it. When the all ready know what's wrong. All they want is money, they don't care about you. They want your money, I thought I trusted them. But I called insurance. Sure enough they made extra charges that should of never of been charged. And can not even refill A prescription.Going to my old dentist even though he's in in Danville and I moved. It's well worth it. He always took care of me. Was not money hungry like this place. All They want is money!! after my dad died!! how sad. Cuz I misplaced my antibiotics. Horrible place. Don't ever go here trust me this place is no good. My other dentist was way better. Dr Sonia is very nice and down to earth and the staff is nice but when I made my first appointment I made sure to ask that the practice and Dr Dhillon was Innetwork with my insurance which they are. I was charged $100 for some miscellaneous medicine they used during my cleaning which Im not even sure they really used on me, I only saw the assistant use the tool with the water hose and Dr Dillon used a hand tool to scrape my gums I didn't see any medicine being flushed on my gums they also charged me other "copays" for deep cleaning and for a mouth wash my visit ended up costing me over $200 my Deductible is only $75! go figure! Needless to say I will not be going back to the practice! read more

I found Dr.Dhillon when I was in so much pain and in need of a wisdom tooth removal. Dr.Dhillon was the best, not only did she reach out right away but she was able to schedule me for that following Monday. I didn't have insurance at the time and was really nervous about how much it would cost me but it turned out to be really reasonable and cheaper than many other places. Not to mention, the whole procedure was completely painless! After that first visit, I knew that Dr.Dhillon really cared about her patients. She is now my dentist and every experience since has been great. The staff is always so friendly when I come in and the office has great energy. I had an appt with my regular dentist two weeks out but my tooth was killing me, i called my regular dentist to get me in sooner as i couldnt even drink anything due to the pain. They said they couldnt fit me in any earlier. i called around and Dr Sonia's staff said to come right away, that they would wait for me and look at my tooth. i ran over there close to closing. They did xrays and determined i need a root canal due to a cracked tooth with filling and absess infection. she took care of it right then and there, stayed late and called the next day to see how i was doing. I'm overdue in writing this review. Our family absolutely loves this dental office, everybody is so friendly and welcoming, communication has been excellent, as has the care. I had my cleaning this morning and it was by far the most caring, gentle, careful hygienist I've ever had. If every cleaning experience was like this I would have been less likely to put them off. We have an 8 and almost 10 year old and my oldest was so scared in the beginning but they were great with her, went at her pace and now she walks right back for her appointments. Thank you Dr Dhillon and team for being there when I needed you. I had a sudden dental emergency and could not get in touch with my dentist. Dr. Dhillon saved me from an ER visit. Even after my pharmacy delayed my meds, Dr. Dhillon took the time to make sure I was ok on a Saturday evening. I even got a follow up text the next morning just to make sure I was doing well. I attempted to make an appointment with Dr. Dhillon, based on her many 4-5 star reviews. I chose to ignore the bad ones. Apparently, if you have Denti-Cal insurance (Dental Insurance via Medi-Cal) appointments are only available on Tuesday mornings. Hence, they are booked until February of 2019. Who treats their patients/prospective patients this way? Denti-Cal patients are pariahs? Shameful. My low rating is not for her services (obviously) but for the way they are handling Denti-Cal patients. :/ read more

More interested in your $$ than your welfare. I've been going here for a couple of years and finally had enough. The first time I went, Dr Dhillon she asked if I "was working." Knew that's a red flag and sensed she was trying to get as much $$ as possible from my visit. I had X-rays done with my past dentist, but of course, they had to do them again (even though I offered to get them sent), disregarding my welfare bc of radiation--which has proven to be a concern. Then, she recommended a $500+ teeth mold even though she knew my budget was tight. The second time I went on a Tuesday, there was a different dentist. The assistant encouraged me to make all my future appts with on a Tuesday to get this dentist. Why? You take a guess. I admit: I liked her better. The last time I went -- and will be the last. My insurance only pays for cleanings every year but I like every 6 months so I pay for one. The first year it was $60. Then, $65. Now, it's $75. I exclaimed it went up quite a bit and it would have been nice if they had told me of the increase Before my appt. I mean, they have 6 months...The receptionist was VERY rude. Totally hateful, negative energy. She could have apologized or something. Anything. Her attitude was so FU. She said, "IT GOES UP EVERY YEAR." REALLY?? Who does that??? read more

I had a semi urgent issue (broken tooth) that happened on a Saturday evening. Luckily I wasn't in any pain so I emailed the office hoping to get a response by Monday morning. Little did I know Dr. Dhillon would respond on a Sunday and scheduled me first thing Monday morning! I got to the office at 9 am and was taken back immediately and taken care of by her amazing staff. I was able to have my tooth fixed same day & given a breakdown of my dental plan. Her staff went over the costs and explained the portion my insurance covered. Dr. Dhillon really cares about her patients and it showed through the entire visit. She even called me before leaving the office that evening to make sure I was doing ok after my visit. I've never had the best of luck with dentists, but I'm so happy to have found this office. Dr. Dhillon will definitely be my dentist from now on! read more

Another dentist told me I needed work on 6 teeth, she said all I needed was a deep cleaning and should consider a night guard. She went over costs with me and was so nice and communicative. I have 16 crowns, so I have experience. I wanted one crown replaced for cosmetic reasons but Dr. Dhillon talked me into having two replaced that are adjacent. Yes, she is VERY interested in $$$$. She mentioned that having a crown replaced may cause it to need a root canal. Hmmm...I've never been told that before. Maybe it is because my previous dentist used an antiseptic or antibiotic on the root before the crown was permanently installed. My previous dentist said that most dentists do not do this extra step because it costs money that is not reimbursed by insurance. So three years later and one crown she replaced needs a root canal! First time a crown needed a root canal. It got more complicated than just a simple root canal, as painful as that was. So, not only did she do a crown on a tooth that I did not want, but now it is costing me big money for a dental implant because of it. Yes, Dr. Dhillon is motivated by making a lot of money. Best service in town! As many people, going to the dentist office is not our favorite past time. I was clear to tell Dr. Dhillon that when I arrived. She made me feel comfortable every visit I attended. I made my way about once a month for about three months as Dr Dhillon worked on my root canal and new crown. I had been getting usual cleanings done with Dr. Dhillon for a while but I had run into a broken tooth which I had felt uneasy about but she scheduled me as best she could working with my busy schedule. She had also made me feel comfortable when it came to talking about the bills as I was still under 21 and my mother was the one managing the paperwork.
