Had terrible service several times. I've ordered two slushes before and took me 1/2 an hour to get them as I parked. Suggestion, go through the drive through for better service. Still, very inconsistent service from time to time. I've found hair in my hamburger the last time I ordered food so I've limited myself to drinks and ice cream there. I've heard from various people about experiencing terrible service there and not getting their food in a timely manner also. Hopefully this changes. No complaints about the customer service face to face, as they are always friendly. read more

Typically, I like Sonic, even though the prices are a little high for a meal. Usually the food is pretty good, the service decent, and most of the stalls work. It seems lately that when I've been there, it's a hit-and-miss which one will actually work. Plus their marquee doesn't work anymore. It seems like it's been going downhill lately. read more

Sat at a stall for about thirty minutes had pushed the button both times and it was ignored this is the second time I've been to this sonic and they've ignored me probably the last time I'll go if the stall is not working they should put a sign and at least come and tell the customer we don't know if it works or not and just see it as the works ignoring the customer. read more

This Sonic is amongst others scattered along the main drive going away from the Great Sand Dunes. It is rather unique having someone come with the food rather than going to. It does have a wait but it's the sheer novelty of having food given to you by someone. The food is the same level of McDonalds but the sheer presence of a Sonic compensates for it. The only place you can get a Sonic is either deep inland of Colorado (i.e. not the cities) and California. I would recommend going to a Sonic just for the experience of it. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would, can't believe the horrible service they at! Went after a fun day of the Early Iron festival with my kids and was denied service! All I wanted was to get a slushee for my boys and they tell me they can't make them. Zero explanation, no sympathy and my boys crying in the backseat. Came on a Sunday evening and they gave us cold food. I've come at other times and the food has been good other than a mistake with the order here and there at this location. So maybe Sunday evenings are not a good time to come. read more

This Sonic is absolutely HORRIBLE. Im not speaking on just one bad experience either, literslly every single time i have ever eaten here they have never, not once have they got my simple orders correct. Its pathetic and whomever is hiring these people needs fired themselves. This place is in desperate need of new management. They struggle with answering the button, they are always rude and seem to not know what their doing or how to do it correctly. I have nothing good to say about this place and every time i am in high hopes it changes and yet it doesnt. I would hope people notice this as well and stop going here until thsy better the place... Great food and staff is friendly always. But don't try to get even a drink here unless you have 30minutes to an hour of free time to sit and wait. Every single time we visit this location wether it's to have dinner or just grab a cold drink we end up sitting and waiting for about an hour on average. Definitely NOT fast food even using the drive-thru. read more

Slow slow slow. If you're in a rush (don't have half hour) keep driving. Every time of day they are extremely slow. I ordered a limeade and it took 20 minutes. If you can afford to wait the food is fine. read more

There is a reason they have a low rating, even after the artificial review boosting, just sayin. I went here the other night with my significant other and was treated terribly. Me, being a bad driver pulled up to the window a TINY bit sideways. (I've parked a lot worse there before) It was cold so we looked at the menu through the window without rolling it down until we decided what we wanted. Once we had decided i began to roll down my window when i heard a male voice say something involving "try again". My motor was on and window not all the way down. I asked them to repeat several times, and waited.... and waited. About 20 minutes passed with complete silence and no one behind us. We kept speaking, and there was no response, until a car pulls up behind us. Finally a MANAGER comes out to throw boxes and says, "I cant hear you with the way you parked, drive around and try again. So, I pulled up to the window and placed my order there. The manager glared at us as we ordered, seeming to be upset that we didn't drive around. He threw trash in an aggressive manner and then stood still, no longer working. The car behind us, having 3 bags of food was served first, as we waited for our one bag of food. We waited, having already paid for another 15 minutes. Once receiving our food, the clerk said thank you and didn't give me receipt. I demanded one so I could report this rude behavior. After filling out the report, I was never emailed, called, texted, or notified it had really gone through other than the automated messages. I really think sonic has no clue they have a RUDE manager working there. Im still confused whether that manager was upset at my parking job, or the fact he had saw me and my boyfriend there a few days before (we are gay). Either way, I am never going to that grease trap again, because of that manager! read more

I am not one to complain a lot, but if I am going to pay almost $10 for 2 small "Custard Concrete" shakes, they better be pretty good. The "dark chocolate" was only on the top; the rest was all vanilla. I sent them back, waited another 10 minutes and received only slightly beige "dark chocolate" shakes. The oreo is not all the way through, either, as shown in the advertising. Like i said, I don't usually complain about things, but $10 is a lot of money and it was for a rare, special treat. Total first world problem, but who likes getting ripped off? read more
