Very soft, soggy, greasy batter
Carrie G.

This place is a hot mess. They have unique drinks and some food items, where else can you get pickle fries?! Unpopular opinion is you are better off using the app. It just annoys me that they can do half price drinks in the app but that isn't a thing when you just drive up and order. Like why?! Same with the grocery stores, making you use an app if you want anything good. I get why this is popular in places where it's hot because the drinks are where it's at. (As long as they make them correctly which they definitely have not in the past.) I got a limeade slush for half price in the app, pickle fries, and $1 pretzel stick (also app deal) both pretzels were very dense and a bit undercooked. cheese was fine. The pickle fries were not crispy at all, but everything was very hot. I would not pay four dollars for a small pickle. The batter was very soggy. It's like they were so hot because they microwaved them. I ordered in the app then you drive into a stall to order. The lobby was closed. It has been closed as far as I know except when it first opened and that was a hot mess as well. Nobody was in the drive thru. This time my order took 15 minutes. There was one kid running out the orders, literally, he was literally running after he gave you your food. Car after car.

Undercooked Crispy Chicken Sandwich

Line is so slow, and my chicken sandwich was undercooked. Save your money, eat somewhere else. I hope I don't get sick

Chicken tenders

Ordered the 5 pc chicken tender combo meal....the tenders looked AND tasted like they were sitting there for a few hrs under a heat lamp....so overcooked it was nothing but shoe leather....so glad I had the tater tots to eat

October 14th, 2024. "Large fry" at Sonics price through. Seriously?? Did they eat some before they handed it to me?

October 14, 2024 I bought the #2 burger meal with large fry and this is what I saw when I arrived home....

Second Reese's blast.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I ordered a drink for myself, and a Reese's sonic blast for my husband. As soon as we pulled away he asked me to try his blast because it tasted weird. I tried it and it legit tasted like an ashtray. Like someone dumped the Reese's with cigarette ash and mixed it or something. We brought it back and told them it tasted like an ashtray. They re-made it and guess what? Still tastes like ashtray. Did someone dump an ashtray in the ice cream machine or something? This is the worst sonic I have ever been too and I never want to come here again. If that's what the blast tastes like IMAGINE what it looks like back there. Makes me want to barf just thinking about it. Waste of money and time.

I ordered a chill dog, because I love their hotdogs in the lower 48. The hotdog was warm, not cooked enough and no taste.

I've tried them twice now. 20 minute wait in drive thru, food and drinks were all terrible. Don't waste your time.

Not open twice when I have gone to try it out. Website says it is open but they were not. Good way to start out.

Crunchy's is a new-ish restaurant in town…read more To visit Crunchy's you will need to come to a cool thrifty crafty store called ReMade on Old Seward past Huffman. In between Huffman and DeArmoun road on the right hand side. There is a communal kitchen attached to the left of the store. Sometimes there's more than one business cooking out of them, but Crunchy's is in this space Thursday-Sunday. He said he's there to stay too. I came on Saturday 10/26 around 1:30-2pm. Almost all the tables were occupied with people waiting. We scanned the menu using a QR code. You can order online too. A lady came to take our order. They are fairly new and they had just been featured in the newspaper so I think they had been super busy and not used to it. They handled it very well though. The menu consists of a couple burgers, a chicken sandwich, and some milkshakes. Not a huge menu. The chef is a young and ambitious guy who loves to cook. He is very nice and personable. He makes the buns by scratch, all ingredients are organic and healthy. I got the cheese burger. When the food came out it wasn't particularly hot, more warm. My mom got the chicken sandwich and she said hers was hot in temperature so maybe it was a timing thing. The burgers came with fries, and they were barely warm as well. But overall the food was good. The bun was more of a roll type with texture and taste. The patty was cooked well, some pink in the middle so it wasn't overcooked. Had pickles which is a plus, as well as mustard and ketchup. I said no onions please. Overall the food was very good. I wish I had had more fries, there was a small amount. And I would have liked the burger to be a bit hotter in temperature. I was impressed with the homemade bun and the price point was $13 for the burger and $11 for the chicken sandwich was pretty good considering he makes everything. The menu is changing and ingredients/ the looks of things change as he navigated running a restaurant. He is active on Facebook so look Crunchy's up or just stop by to see a current menu. Hours are changing but as of last I believe Thursday and Friday they are open 5-8pm Saturday 11-8pm Sunday?

It's a little out of the way of the bustle but worth the extra mile. All organic non-GMO foods…read more This is a shared kitchen with several local vendors. I'm sitting in front of the coffee bar which seems to have a large selection of Stash teas. Food was great. The Parmesan fries were hot, fresh and crispy. The owner/chef came out to chat and welcome me. Nice place to pick up local treasures to take back home if you are traveling.
