So I occasionally go to the local Sonic to get a milkshake for the wife and myself. Some of the time it has whipped cream and a cherry, but 40% of the time it does not. Today was a 'does not' day. For the price it should have 2 cherries, but that's neither here nor there. I want what I pay for. Sonic charges the same price if it has whipped cream or if it doesn't. I guess it depends on the person making them whether it has the toppings or not. I thought they were all trained to make items a certain way, not what they think should be added. Sonic is quickly becoming a place that I to avoid for fast food because nothing is ever made the same way, burgers included, there's no consistency, just whatever they decide to throw in. Needing something to cool us off... and my kiddo and I hit this place up after a hot morning at the nature center. We enjoyed a Sonic blast with cookie dough and it really hit the spot. My first time to Sonic.... More like 2.5 stars. Good Chesseburger Many selections on types of drinks Many selections on flavors of drinks Chicken popcorn is tender Not so good Pineapple Milkshake - too thick, too much whip cream and the thin straw and pineapple bites did not help. I still prefer the milkshake from McDonald's. They messed up all 4 of our orders. T asked for blue coconut drink and got blue raspberry. A asked for croissant hot dog and got a regular hot dog bun. I ordered a BLT sandwich and got a cheeseburger. M got chicken popcorn with honey mustard sauceand the sauce never came. Nice to get food delivered with people on rollerskates. read more

I've eaten at Sonic all across the United States and usually have had a good experience. However, this week, on our way to the movies we stopped by for a quick meal. Big mistake!!! It took 25 minutes to get our order and even then they forgot half of it. The carhop was more than rude when we asked what was taking so long and she just walked right by us without any acknowledgement. It's not as if they were packed, there were maybe four other cars waiting. I'll never eat at this particular drive in again. read more

So I couldn't wait for Sonic to be refurbished and eat there again. I've unfortunately eaten there twice , once for lunch which was not good. And then my beloved breakfast. I've in the past had some great breakfast sandwiches. This morning's was just terrible. Why? It was cold. Plus I only ordered an egg and cheese croissant. No meet same price, fine. But there,was barely a sliver of egg on my sandwich. And it was cold. Who ever cooking there now could care less about what their doing. So sad. read more

Sonic is sonic anywhere you go. I like sonic for its happy hour on drinks that's when you will find me here. They have a,fun array of drinks to choose from sometimes mix it up from just a coke to a bluerasberry nerds drink. During happy hour from 2-4pm daily all drinks are half price so I can get a small whatever for .54 cents or a route 44 for $1.49 I like sonic for their drinks. read more

Be prepared to wait over 30 minutes to be acknowledged! Staff were taking breaks and hanging out around the store while people pulled out of the drive trough line and order bays fed up with waiting. When I emailed management about the excessive wait they said that if I came back they'd give me a free drink. Are you kidding?! Just fix the problem rather than trying to cover up your incompetence with a free drink coupon! McDonalds down the street got us in and out within 5 minutes. read more

Has anyone ever noticed that their onion rings taste like...cinnamon? I don't know what they serve that has cinammon but its almost like they fry them in the same oil as something else? Other than that, burgers are GREAT. Good service (very friendly) usually! read more

I have been eating at Sonic for several years with great food . I stopped there this week for breakfast and got French toast sticks and sweet tea/lemon. I was enjoying my meal and glanced at the ticket and very shocked to see they charged $.40 for a very small piece of lemon. I have never heard of being charged for a slice of lemon. I doubt very seriously I ever go back. Sonic, you lost a very good customer. read more

sooooo slow! it always takes forever for anything to arrive, from a single shake to a couple of cheeseburgers, no matter how busy they are. I just watched three cars of people that arrived after I placed my order get served before my meal was brought out. the employee was not apologetic or accommodating, and my tots were cold. that being said, if you have twenty minutes to kill: the peanut butter cookie dough master blaster is as good as fast food milkshakes get. read more

I have never seen more inept staff at a restaurant, actually not just in the food service business, I have never seen more inept staff anywhere. Ever. You'd think they are actually trying to be of poor service so much so that it makes you wonder if that is a new campaign Sonic is running, because, no place could be this ridiculously bad more than once. 1st trip, 2 plain cheeseburgers were ordered. They come to us, with everything. Honest mistake. We send them back. We receive their second attempt at our plain cheeseburgers. There are pickles and onions. All over them. We send them back. 3rd attempt, we are so fed up, we mistakenly leave thinking they finally got it right. Seriously, who could get this wrong the third time? We get home. One cheeseburger is plain. The other? Mayo. Now, several months later, I decide I'd like a milkshake from Sonic. Remembering the unfortunate first visit, I drive over, thinking that could only be a fluke. How silly I was. I order a brownie shake. Nothing special, no changes. They bring the shake out to me, it clearly has cookie dough and chocolate chips. I tell them, this can't be the brownie shake. They bring it back, then come out with the same shake telling me, "yes this is the brownie shake, it has all of these ingredients in it." The employee then proceeds to flee back into the restaurant. I sit in my car, dumbfounded. I was tired. All I wanted was a treat. I had no fight left in me that day and decided, coupled with the first cheeseburger experience, and now this, trying to get a correct order from these people would be like trying to teach a hamster to tap-dance. I drove away with my "brownie" shake, pulled up to the grocery store instead, walked up to the trash can outside, dumped my shake in it, bought brownie ice cream instead, and drove home. So my suggestion, if you don't want to end up in your grocery store with pjs on and no bra buying brownie ice cream at nearly midnight, don't go to this Sonic. Ever. I can only hope I got across what utter incompetence this place will shower upon you. Abandon hope all ye who visit here. As I re-read this I feel as though I am still not painting a vivid enough picture of the buffoonery. And it may even sound like a fun thing to do, go there and see how many things they get wrong. But after waiting 10 minutes in between each interaction with an employee before they return with your once again incorrect food, you will know the feeling of white hot anger burning in your chest. Then you will know. This is not fun. This is the twilight zone. Black is white. Up is down, and cookie dough is clearly brownies. read more
