My group ordered 2 cheeseburgers and fries. One of got ice tea and the other a vanilla shake. You pay at this time and they give you 2 cups--1was for the ice tea. We thought the other was for water but after we had sat for a minute a staff member came by asking if we ordered a shake--my appreciation is that we were supposed to give the cup to the staff at that time? That does not make sense to me and sounds potentially unsanitary but since it was filled with water the staff member said she would get her shake and bring it to her shortly, which she did. The shake was average. The burgers came next and I was satisfied with mine---it might have been a little on the overcooked side but I ate it completely and really had no complaints. The staff was friendly and helpful but perhaps they were understaffed or it was just a busy time as it did not feel like a clean and neat place. That said, I would still return in the future for another burger.

To top it off, we never received one of the drinks we ordered or the extra bread we asked for. For just me and my son to eat brunch, the bill came to over $72. I truly hate leaving bad reviews, but between the poor attitudes, dirty floors, lack of service, surprise fees, and bad food, this place earned it. Speaking of soups, they have a good selection of those too. I'm used to seeing six choices posted on the menu. These can be had as a bowl or cup. There are also grab and go selections in a case at the front. These are pretty handy, although ordering from the menu is pretty fast as well. There is some inside seating, and a few tables out front. However, as they are located on the North Boulevard Parkway, there are lots of places just a few steps away that you can go to to enjoy your meal. These include little tables under the old oak trees, or you can have a picnic on or by the lawn.
