A couple of times in the past I have gone to this Sonic and because I am in the drive-up line it turns 4:00 pm while I am waiting and I end up paying more for my drinks (missed happy hour). Today I decided to pull into this Sonic as it was prior to 4:00 pm and it was still prior to 4:00 pm (according to my satellite clock) and they charge me regular price. I just drove off. Often I have purchased food from this Sonic and usually not at happy hour but I am done with this Sonic. Too many choices to keep going to an establishment with these kinds off unethical business practices. read more

I've only just tried their deserts and drinks and they are pretty good. Nothing amazing. But decent if craving a sweet treat.

The app was having an error issue so we put our order in at the location. Waited. Got our food. The grape slush was not mixed correctly, the young man who gave us our food told us we could "just stir it up with the straw"... I tried that, no luck. I tried to drink the drink as is and all I got was a mouthful of concentrated syrup. I dumped the drink into a shaker bottle and shook it, still too much syrup and the texture was gone. Went BACK to sonic, had them remake it. Now it's drinkable. Great. Get back to our bag of food and both pretzels are hard as a rock & old, the tots taste old and freezer burnt, the fries are somehow soggy and overcooked?! Idek man I shoulda took my $30 and wiped my ass with it -I don't want the burger now cause everything I've tried to eat from this order has been a sensory nightmare. Not autism friendly. Went to the drive up this time. It wa later in the evening. But didn't seem too busy. There are quite few items to choose as it took a while. We ordered a few burgers, milkshakes And recommended mango slushees. Which was so delicious! Better than any slurpee I've had. The ice consistency was nice and not too cold easy to go down. The wait time was short and we should've know friar they'd mess it up Or even question it. Because we never received one of our milkshakes. And we didn't realized until we got home. (not much) My daughter went to pick them up and checked in on the app. She waited 20 min until the app said we had recI even our drinks, she pressed the red button to talk to a worker. She said she was still waiting and the worker said they would be right out with the 2 sodas. she waited another 20 min and nothing! She had to leave to make an appointment. 40 min for 2 drinks we never receive! it would be one thing if this was the first time. Here I was sitting in my hot car after a long ruthless day at school. My stomach rumbles with anguish. I realize that pickle fries sound spectacular and I swear to god I would've paid millions for those fries. Since we were both Sonic virgins, we didn't quite know how to order and ended up getting out of the car and talking to the menu. Once we ordered, we got back into our car and realized we should've paid closer attention to the Sonic commericials - the actors are in the car for a reason - Sonic is the real deal DRIVE IN experience. I ordered on DoorDash and added notes for my meal, I got some mozzarella sticks, which were fine, a double cheese burger, and two pretzel twists with cheese. I added a note to include cheese sauce, as is in the name of the product, and got none. I asked for only cheese and ketchup on my burger, I got everything. FOOD POISONING for the second time I took my son to sonic for lunch and both times he got sick. After ordering our food it came out way to fast, now I know why. We decided to go to sonic after a long day of work on Saturday. We were greeted by India, who seemed to need a very large attitude adjustment. She seemed very displeased to deal with us when we asked for the drink we had purchased but had not received. She also copped an attitude when we asked for an additional marinara sauce. We received 1 sauce when we ordered a large order on Mozzerlla sticks. After we drove away I found what appeared to be loogie in my grilled cheese sandwich. Went on Sat. 5/1/21 at 1pm. Drive thru was backed up so decided to go to the stall and order. Ordered the double cheeseburger combo. My order came pretty quickly, car hop was nice. My complaint is that the french fries and onion rings were cold, obviously from sitting, pre-stacked much earlier. My cheeseburger was luke warm, not hot off the grill, barely melting the cheese. Compare this to Freddy's right across the highway. Their food is not cooked until ordered, their fries are always hot as well as the rings. And their prices are better than Sonic. With the Covid crap over finally, restaurants better wake up that people now have more of a choice to speak with their wallets than before, which is what I will be doing. This place is a chromed-up version of what I imagine used to be on every side of town back in the fifties; a good-ol' drive-in with good burgers, fries, malts and shakes. They -do- have a drive-thru, but who wants to use that when you can pull up and mash the order button after perusing the menu of styled-up burgers, grilled and fried chicken sandwiches along with your grab-bag of chicken strips, french fries, tater tots...and grilled cheese? Yes, you can order a grilled cheese. They have a decent selection of breakfast items that are served all day as well, so if you really want a warm croissant with bacon and egg and cheese, french toast sticks or a 'breakfast' burrito at two in the P.M., you can do a thing. The drink selection is straight out of the fifties, too, offering fun-tasting and colored slushies and the person on the radio will ask you if you'd like to add vanilla to your Coke or cherry to your Sprite. My favorite concoction they serve here is called an "Ocean Water". It's some sort of blue fantastic made up of Sprite and some other, unrecognizable flavors that mash up into complete deliciousness and thirst quenching. The staff here is a pretty young sort, friendly and running to and fro with orders, change and condiment trays. Some even keep it classy, sporting the roller-skates of yore, neon as the signs that tell you they're OPEN. Some affix roller-blades to their feet, breaking the illusion and jolting you back to the 21st century. The food here is cheap and pretty tasty for what it is. GIve 'em a whirl, daddy-o. Food is decent like the mozz sticks and burgers but the gravy for dipping sauce is really below average and watery. Happy hour is amazing so get here around 2pm. read more
