Do not use this location if you have good allergies or make any type of special order Or a large vanilla milkshake with no cherry got to the window they handed me a large vanilla milkshake with cherry. I handed a bag fast for what I ordered. They dumped the whipped cream and cherry off of it and put new whipped cream back on right in front of me, I said no this is being ordered for someone that has an allergy. This Sonic location continuously cancels simple Door Dash orders. Door Dash refers back to the Sonic location. You try to call them and they've turned their phones off. Their food is decent but most definitely not the hassle of having your order cancelled 20 minutes later. It's a burger and frozen sides... if you can't do something that simple, remove yourself from Door Dash. read more

Despite the food being better than average for Fast Food, (the new burgers are really a step up from most) the ability to have foods in stock, and the cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant is not appetizing at all. Often this Pulaski, VA location cannot provide Ice cream "Blasts" because their machine isn't working. Recently they were out of their Pretzel twists, then after having in stock, they didn't have the cheese ‍ Speakers out of service is found quite often here too. And they don't tell you till after you pulled in, then need to try to back out and find another open stall... Has to be a better way to tell is the stall isn't working. Most recently, handing me a Styrofoam Rte 44 cup that the blue slushies leaks out the cup pores!?!? Yes, that's right, the drink oozes out of the bottom of the cup walls... Don't come here if you don't want them to change your order completely. My fiance and I came here to eat. I was going to get the popcorn chicken with onion rings and a drink. My fiance said "And then I would like a 3 piece chicken tender with..." dude cut him off and said "I'll just change it to a number 11 then." WITHOUT ASKING IF WE WANTED ANYTHING ELSE!!!! We just left before he could come out and give us the food. Went to McDonald's instead. They need to fix their machines or have their employees come out and take the order manually if they can't understand the customer. I came and ordered a Cookie Dough blast and they put vanilla ice cream in a cup and four pieces of cookie dough on top and haven't blended anything so essentially it was just Vanilla Ice cream with nothing else. read more

Went to sonic last nite in chester va. Of course they got my order wrong. When I returned the sandwiches, the cook or who ever prepares the food was handling my food with NO GLOVES on. When I asked for a manager they would not come to the window. When I asked the cashier to notify the cook to put gloves on, they continued to handle my food with no gloves. I went through the drive through for two small shakes after 8 pm the website says half price shakes after 8 pm. I ordered two small shakes and the total was 9.46 I said they are 2.49 on the menu. The changed it to 8.40 my receipt said .60 back I ask her did she charge me 9.00 and pocket .60 cents. She said no it was a mix up with the register. I went back through the line to get the correct charge for the two small shakes that they were supposed to have corrected. Ordered from drive-thru on Nov 19th 2022. My spouses burger and onion rings were both either burnt from sitting beneath a warmer for too long or over-cooked. Burnt bits throughout burger. I tried calling the number on receipt to give my complaint but the mailbox to the number provided had a recording that said their mailbox was full! The receipt did not list the store number at the top where the address is located. The Drive# was smudged and I had to look up store number online to complain on survey. Disgusting staff members. First a employee was playing the ice with gloves, then when she saw I was looking, disappeared into the back. Then I witness the server Johnny ( staff member at the drive thru window) put ice in cups with his bare hands for multiple cars behind mine in the drive thru. I told he that it was unsanitary. They've fixed the closing early issue, so I updated my review! Never really have a problem with my food. But they tend to always ALWAYS earlier than 11. Their hours are until 11 but don't be surprised if you try to roll up at 10:15 and they're closed. They'll even park their cars to to barricade all entrances so you can't get in the parking lot. I am totally digging these new lil doggies!! I love the fact that this location has a drive thru! Therefore, when I am suffering from either being lazy, sick, exhausted, &/or pressed for time, this is my stop! It's one of the few fast food places that every one in my family can agree that they have no problem going to. They are as quick as they can be considering Sonic is known for cooking the food per order so I don't usually worry about whether my food is going to be fresh enough or warm enough. If only this location decided to put up an exit marker on I-95 to let those weary travelers know that a Sonic is not far off the highway at all would be GREAT! As a frequent over-the-road driver I can speak on the fact that looking for a quick and awesome Sonic meal would be a welcome break while driving a long haul! :-) well....maybe there is one and I haven't had a reason to check for it....hmmmm..... Horrible, horrible service and work ethic by two employees here. I went there to get four milkshakes and they totally screwed those up. They made them in a way that showed they didn't care. On top of that, the guy who brought it out said he didn't have a receipt for me and was saying the cost was higher than it was supposed to be so I told him that was too much because four shakes couldn't possibly be that much. Then he said that he didn't really notice and that everyone else that he didn't give a receipt to hadn't had a problem with it. I thought I was on Candid Camera. This joker lost his mind.
