These dogs are actually pretty dang good here for a quickie! Try the Chicago dog for sure- can't beat the toppings and I do have love for good crispy Tater Tots!! Terrific stop for a curbside car window pickup or drive-thru. Inside is a small seating area traditional dining room. Right now, for a Limited Time (LTO) is Thursday $1.49 Coney Island hot dog Day, a New York favorite. Soft Drinks are good and can even get them "dirty" style which, I think, means cream is added to your soft drink. Lately service has been friendly and efficient, and therefore, on point. My husband and I had lunch inside and were so pleasantly surprised by our experience. We ordered a double smash burger, Texas toast bacon burger, tots, fries, and a pretzel with cheese. The burgers were outstanding and the tots were crispy! The real star of the show was that soft pretzel...OMG. I would come back here just for the pretzel. This Sonic is yet another that provides a typical experience that we've all grown accustomed to from Sonic - as we appreciate its corporate standardization efficiency while resenting its soulless capitalistic extraction. In addition, its site and building design is extremely vehicular-focused, featuring vehicular parking stalls where one (or two or etc.) orders at the menus, with no ability to enter a building and order face-to-face with a human or even use a restroom. That said, Sonic is one of those rare facilities that is not only true to what it is, but is the type of facility that can only be constructed and operated in the way it is. And yes, it's a guilty pleasure - so ordering a new tropical spicy burger with crinkly fries (underrated) and my favorite Oreo cheesecake banana shake was a deliciously tasty treat. So while (validly) critical of automotive-oriented design, for the above reasons and the friendly, attentive staff (who deserve a raise!), I can't help but leave a glowing review. The only way this facility could be better would be (with bike parking and) having its staff return to the time-honored and classic tradition of delivering our orders on rollerskates. read more

Put in a mobile order when I was in the area and immediately came to pick it up. Despite putting the order in only a minute before, the food was prepared and came out super quick. The staff was very nice when delivering the food to my car and even asked if there was anything else they could get me/additional sauces wanted. Visited this Margate Sonic for breakfast. Got there around 9:05. Waited 3-5 minutes at the speaker before some arrived to take my order. When I ordered the food, the associate stated that it would be a while as they just opened at 9 and they had to cook everything. While I can appreciate fresh food, for a fast food drive in establishment, I'm just not sure why the team would not be required to arrive about 30 minutes earlier than opening time if prep work is needed so they can be ready to serve customers promptly when the place opens. Since I was rushing to work, I did not wait and just left. On a prior visit, I wanted chilli cheese tots with my order but the guy said the chilli was not ready, so I could not get it. It's amazing to me how these fast food chains are so poorly run at times and miss the simplest aspect of customer service and creating a positive customer experience. read more

Wow, I am really shocked. I did not expect this place to have less than 2 1/2 stars. But I will tell you this, they do some great burgers. They are always hot and always fresh. I can only get soda here due to allergies. Unfortunately, I am also diabetic and 3 different occasions I ordered my favorite Cherry limeade in diet, once for me and a friend. Plot twist, they gave me regular soda all three times and spiked my sugars up really badly. The third time, I was more cautious and my friend confirmed hers wasn't diet either. I did attempt to reach out on two occasions and didn't hear back, so I wouldn't recommend if you are diabetic. read more

I've only ever ordered drive-thru from Sonic, so I can't speak on the inside of the establishment. I really don't care for their burgers or French fries, both remind me of elementary school food. They don't have the pull up stalls anymore but they do have two lines in the drive through. Beware the lines are painfully slow each time I've visited this location I've regretted it and wish I could get out of the line but once you're in the line and someone pulls up you're forced to wait. They don't even say anything to you when you pull up to the box they let you sit for at least 15 minutes (no exaggeration) before even saying anything to you. They should close this location the people who work here hate it here read more

Establishment was open. So we went inside to get shakes and food. Pretty dead for a Monday night. So I walked up. And then the worker came over to take my order I ordered a footling coney with tater tots and an ocean water. And a vanilla shake. It didn't take to long. We sat outside. The coney was overloaded with chili and it made it impossible to pick up to eat. It was beyond soggy. I had to use a fork and knife to cut it and be able to eat it. read more

Double Cheeseburger: It was great... this time everything was fresh and delicious and even the cheese was melted... nice touch Cheeseburger, my Dad has this and he had about the same good experience. Grilled Chicken Sandwich: My mom said her sandwich was very good... she doesn't get into the details too much... she's like mafia style with food comments lol Jumbo Popcorn Shrimp: This is good but if they sold boneless wings which are obviously a bit larger than this they'd corner the market with a few more sauces involved. Onion Rings: These were just ok... Fries: here the part that couldn't earn the fifth star... not a single speckle of salt anywhere. Either way, still a really good experience. The reviews made me nervous but I really wanted to take my kids to a sonic. We had a really great experience. We drive up to the park order spots and Monique answered right away. We ordered tons of food and she was very patient and friendly and got everything right. It was only 10 minutes max before she brought out our food. We realized it was the same person! She was so kind and waited there to make sure our order was correct and we didn't need anything else. Everything was yummy and Monique was so awesome! read more

I came at 11:40 PM on 4th of july waited in line for 15 minutes with 4 other cars and all 6 workers were playing around , on their phones and not taking any orders. This location closes at 12 but it seems these young kids wanted to shut it down early for their own benefit. I pull up to the window and see one of the boys making himself a sandwich and I repeatedly knock on the window and then they come out of the back screaming that they are closed and shut the door not giving any explanation or the 4 other cars in line a heads up. read more

The menu here is a little different or else things have changed... the chicken tender dinner 3pc that I had came with no country gravy--in Texas, there was always a little cup of it in the side. They didn't know what I was talking about so I asked For Hot sauce which took at least five minutes to get, even though I already had my food and I was in a hurry. I think that Sonic has the best beverages...although they couldn't sell me a large route 44 size as they told me they had no cups. I had Diet Coke with cranberry and vanilla added in and it was so delicious. You can make any combination of drink and syrup that you wish. I wanted something sweet after an early dinner so I chose Sonic as they have the MOST delicious Blasts (pretty much what the place with golden arches serves but 100% better!). We chose to park and order at the drive in. I love people watching. Anyway, I ordered the Reeses peanut butter blast and my partner ordered the classic strawberry shake. The one thing I will say is they can improve on speed. It took forever and a day to get the 2 items. Once we did, both of us in bliss! If you haven't tried 'em, give them a shot. In short: Don't leave here without the chili fries I haven't had sonic in over 10 years so when this location opened up I was a bit giddy. Now I remember why I haven't been here in almost a decade. For fast food they are good but definitely not great. I saw the advertising for the Hawaiian roll burger or chicken sandwich. My husband and I both opted for the chicken sandwich. It is suppose to be on a Hawaiian roll bun, the buns did not taste so. Lettuce, tomato, onions and some sweet type of French dressing on the chicken. It was just okay. I would not get it again. Now.. my husband got the chili fries... whoa! The chili was wayy tastier than I expected. I wish I would've gotten these instead of my underwhelming onion rings. We each got a shake. I got the hot fudge sundae and he got a chocolate shake. My hot fudge sundae shake had a bit of hot fudge on top and that was about it. Being a fan of fudge this irritated me . It was our first time to Sonic believe it or not. We were in a rush we had to go to Best Buy so we said let's try it we pulled up we parked, we had no idea what to do, we read the menu ,we pushed the button,we heard a friendly person's voice and we placed our order. it was brought out by a nice young man everything was correct in the order and everything was hot and delicious as far as a fast food place goes, maybe even better! onion rings were yummy, hamburger and chicken sandwich a little messy but good, fries were like McDonald's and my banana shake was awesome! We ate in the privacy and socially distanced clean car that we own! It was a fun experience but no the guys and girls are not on roller skates like years ago. LOL read more

I pulled into the drive up at Sonic Burger, and placed my order. When I received my burger and fries, I opened the fry bag and pulled out a soggy limp french fry. I just paid $10 and change for a combo so I parked my car and went inside. They were very accommodating and replaced my fries with hot crispy ones, but I was appalled at the filth inside the restaurant. When we go through the drive-through, we have no idea what's going on inside. I will never go back to Sonic Burger again. Nothing I received was good. Even lemonade was watery. Two stars for being open late, but the shakes we not made with love. Actually, it felt like it was made with hate. And a lot of it. Booth blasts were not blasted, but sprinkled. Full cups of vanilla soft serve with zero candy in it. Then a dusting of said candies on top. As the initial sight got me excited to indulge, I quickly was let down to find a pit of just vanilla. Sonic is fast food and ice cream found across the nation presumably. It's also an ode to the drive ins of the past, which was a simple time with hamburgers and hotdogs brought to the car, by carhops on skates. This location is brand new and opened less than two weeks ago. The building is in a poor location off Sample Road in a plaza with anchor store Aldi. It's a nice little building and has the carhop parking on one side only and also offers interior seating. Most Sonics have only outside seating. This one has two drive in lanes also in front, entered from north side. They have also now streamlined the menu some which is likely going to help move clients quickly. We ordered several mini Blasts, a mini shake. and some tater tots. The tater tots could use a little salt and perhaps cooked a minute further to be real crispy. All items ordered were correct and made to order. For being open for only a couple weeks at most, this is spot on. The were fast and efficient and filled the late nite sweets. read more
