Butter - jelly and dipping sauces

My go to for comfort food . I have used Cracker Barrel catering for my class dinners several times. To keep it a bit healthier, I ordered grilled chicken tenderloins, carrots , green beans , rice and fruit. Also sourdough bread. Definitely economical for a large group . They include - plates , cutlery , butter and jelly .

This was my first experience at a Cracker Barrel. I decided to come to this one, because it was in a nice city. Ambiance was nice. Love the shop in the front. They had Christmas decor, and stuff for kids. I noticed there was a lot of regulars coming in. Which I thought was really nice. We played with the checkers they had on display. The interior was nice as well and again I noticed a lot of regulars. Had an Arnold Palmer and it was soooooo goood! On to the food! Had the biscuits to start and they were so fluffy and buttery and soft. You could tell it was freshly baked. I had the fried chicken meal. It tasted like kfc original recipe. Wasnt crispy. But I think it's not supposed to be. Side of mash and gravy was good but salty. Mac and cheese was perfect. Bf had the 3 meat. Meatloaf was my favorite. I guess I've never had meatloaf till now. Always thought I didn't like it. But it was really good. Especially the glaze on the outside. Chicken and dumplings were bland, but i think it's supposed to be that way. It wasn't for me though. And he had the fried chicken which was breast meat and was dry. To me it seemed this was supposed to be offered as a healthy option for people. He also had a side of apple, which was very very sweet and grits which were plain as well but I think it was supposed to be that way and I liked that. Overall I liked the food. It has something for everyone and great for family.

Coming here brought back so many of my childhood memories. Whenever we drove from NY to Florida, stopping at Cracker Barrel was a must go to stop. I wasn't disappointed. The food was pretty good. I had The Old Timers Breakfast- I got a good laugh out of that! The service was excellent as we were a group of more than 10 people. It felt warm & very nostalgic dining in the restaurant. After we ate, we went shopping in the country store. Lots of seasonal items & old fashioned candy. Bought a package of lifesavers. Will definitely come back.

I'm not one to let a little controversy--or a porch full of rocking chairs and rubber-band guns--get between me and a plate of comfort food. So when we kicked off our road trip, we pulled into Cracker Barrel, where the décor says "grandma's attic" and the food says "loosen your belt." I had one mission: meatloaf. The all-American comfort food king. But at 6:30 p.m., the server looked me dead in the eye and said, "We're out." Out. Of meatloaf. At dinner. That's like Disney running out of mouse ears. I just sat there for a moment, trying to process the betrayal. So I pivoted to Plan B--fried chicken and chicken & dumplings. That's right: a chicken double feature. If one bird can't satisfy me, two surely will. My sides were mac & cheese and fried okra. The okra was perfect--crispy, salty little nuggets of joy that could convert a vegetable hater. The mac & cheese, though... kind of phoned it in. Not bad, just a little "meh," like it forgot it was supposed to bring comfort. My wife went full nostalgia with her chicken & dumplings and after one bite said, "This tastes like my childhood." I'm not sure if that's good or if I should call her mom to confirm, but she was happy, and that's what counts. Our son went rogue with the new steak and fried shrimp combo. The steak actually came out rare, which I didn't think was scientifically possible at a Cracker Barrel. I half expected applause from the next table. Inside, the place looked like every Cracker Barrel ever built--wood walls, antique farming tools, and enough knickknacks to fill a yard sale. There's something weirdly comforting about knowing exactly what to expect, right down to the peg game you'll lose while waiting for your food. All in all, it was solid southern comfort--predictable in the best way. Just... restock the meatloaf, Cracker Barrel. Some of us plan our emotional well-being around it. Four stars (minus one for the meatloaf heartbreak)

I can't believe how long it's been since I have been to a Craker Barrel. I love this chain. It is consistently on its great food. The staff is great and service. I came for breakfast. I had Grandma's something. I was happy with everything. Those biscuits were good. My favorite thing was the hash casserole. I had a great breakfast. I also found out they deliver and they have a rewards program. You better believe I signed up for it. The restaurant was busy. I rsvp online but we didn't have to. They sat us right away. This was the perfect spot a family Sunday breakfast.

I absolutely love Cracker Barrel. They still had the store and snacks for you to purchase when you leave or walk in the restaurant. It was cleaned and organized. It's like one of my childhood favorite restaurants. It reminds me and my family having family breakfast here. It's just a nostalgic place to be. I went to this actual location and the food was good like always the biscuits were one of a kind and homemade. My only dilemma with this location is the gravy on the Chicken Fried steak was thick and I remember this gravy being homemade. The gravy was not homemade this time and it didn't taste well. It remind me of one of those powder box of potatoes. Also, I asked my server if they had iced coffee. She was like sure. However she came and brought me a hot cup of coffee and ice, which is not iced coffee, but I guess she tried. The food was OK. I will say that I'm not sure if it's dislocation or if it's Cracker Barrel in general, but the quality of the food has decreased. I remember just going here for all the homemade food.

    The garden scramble

Took my husband here for his first time ever at a Cracker Barrel. He he the grandfather (two eggs over easy sausage, grits, and casserole) I had the garden scramble(eggs cheese, peppers, onions, tomato, and mushroom) with the casserole as well (basically hash browns with cheese and onion) the food was extremely tasty and came out nice and quick, hot and ready to eat. Our waitress was very friendly and kind as well as the rest of the staff. We did some shopping in the little store. It is so cute. They had a lot of sales going on. We bought a couple things they have so much. You have to really pay attention to what you're looking at because you'll miss some of the greatest stuff. We had a great experience our biscuits I almost forgot about them were really good. We got the apple butter to go along with it and they even do this cool thing where for six dollars you can get a take-home meal for later so we both got meatloaf and macaroni and cheese to have for dinner tonight.

Low end experience today - even for Cracker Barrel. Went in with fair expectations having been there numerous times. We were sat quickly and our server came over immediately to take a drink order. She continued to come back every 2 minutes asking if we were ready to order. We ordered a started of the cheese curds which were pretty good but an extremely small portion. Then I ordered the fried chicken, which I had tried before and really enjoyed, but this time I was unimpressed. Prior to ordering I asked if it was white or dark meat and was told it was a mix. I received a drumstick, a wing; and 2 small thighs, not one piece of white meat. And for dark meat, it was dried out. I ordered that with the hash brown casserole and the Mac and cheese, neither one was good. My husband ordered the grandmas breakfast and while his tasted better, the size was drastically smaller than we remembered. I'd come back for breakfast foods, but not for the fried chicken.

I was happily surprised for a 5-star experience at Cracker Barrel today. I love walking through the store and the decor is a fun nostalgic vibe - especially with the peg game! We were seated immediately at 10:45am and the server said it was no issue ordering from the lunch menu. Amazing! She was knowledgeable and fast. I had 2 pancakes and 2 scrambled eggs. Both were delicious. The maple syrup was warm and tasty, and I got a side of strawberry syrup which S liked. S ordered on the healthy side... grilled chicken, broccoli, and green beans. He would have liked a sauce for the chicken, and ended up using the strawberry syrup and liked it . The veggies had some butter, which was expected here. Overall we had a fun time and already have menu items picked out for next time!

Server Bobbi was friendly, fast, efficient and on top of her game. Absolutely love the country Store. It's nostalgia overload! I could hang out in there for hours. The food was okay. Served at appropriate temperatures. I ordered Grilled Rainbow Trout with Green Beans, Mashed potatoes topped with Brown Gravy. I added on Country Fried Shrimp. Trout was a little dry; all the rest was tasty. A friend ordered the Side Dish Platter and chose: Mac & Cheese, Fried Okra, Turnip Greens & Baked Apples. Mac & Cheese was too soupy, so she swapped it for a second portion of turnip greens, which she liked a lot. The fried okra breading was pale, not browned. Good size portions all around. Very generous with the muffins, biscuits, syrups, jams, etc. Convenient pay at table options. Very relaxing to sit a spell and chill in the rocking chairs on the front porch.

My family and I enjoyed a nice breakfast. The place was busy, as usual, but we didn't have to wait long to be seated tha.ks to having joined the waitlist online. For the most part, the food was delicious. I didn't care for the grits and the bacon could'vebeen cooked longer. The pancakes were perfect, my daughter loved her cheese eggs, and my husband was happy with his country fried steak breakfast. Even with how busy it was, our waitress was attentive and checked on us regularly.

The gravy was creamy yet had that bite of smokiness from the meat. The home fries were a large size and not your typical normal freezer bag of potatoes. I ordered the cinnamon rolls to-go and that was decadent. I will dine in person one day. The atmosphere inside has a lot of character and not the modern bullshit you see on Sundays for brunch for a photo opt. I prefer food over anything. Things are getting tight financially so when I do eat I want to it to be worth it. Nonetheless, this place was worth my money and at a good price point. Will be back!

We arrived in time to choose from an indoor booth or outdoor sidewalk table. It was a hot morning, even at 10:30 am but the indoor area was so loud due to the music and crowded restaurant. It is very popular. The music was great but we couldn't talk or order from the counter without screaming so we ate outdoors mostly sweat. The menu had great choices. You could find it online Or on the chalkboard and you order at the counter, they bring your food to the table. We ordered a variety , BLT, Roasted Turkey sandwich, breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a regular breakfast with eggs, toast, sausage and home fries. Everyone loved their meals and it came out timely. Parking was free and prices were very fair. I will definitely return but not for a Sunday brunch! Way too loud for us old girls!!!
