    Cups for sale

Went with my husband for lunch since we were in the area and I'm really glad we stopped in. The food was as good as at the other two Lester's Diners, one being in Sunrise the other one in Fort Lauderdale. They have a huge menu and you can get breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is really something for everyone there. We both get a cup of their homemade vegetable soup that was absolutely delicious! Loaded with lots of broth and a rich broth, this was the perfect start to our meal. I decided on the hot pastrami sandwich and my husband ordered the Reuben. Mine came with a side of potato salad and his with coleslaw. Both sandwiches were really good but I ended up switching my potato salad with his coleslaw because the potato salad had a bit of a sweet taste to it. I put a little bit of the coleslaw on my sandwich, and it took it up even another notch. We were both too full for dessert but they had a display of wonderful looking desserts. Maybe next time. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and our server was just great. Would definitely stop by if I'm in the area again.

Lester's Diner I guess you can say I've been to finer I ordered the steak and eggs And got hash browns and wheat as my bread What I can say is the steak was just ok A little dry for medium rare I say The hashbrown was crispy and the other breakfast items just came off normal Nothing too good, or bad but just in the middle Lastly most diners I know open 24 hours But this one just until 10 pm, but they do serve breakfast every hour

Wow, this skirt steak was delicious

You can't go wrong with Lester's Diner. Good food, great service and reasonable pricing. This location even has draft beer, desserts and donuts. Got here around noon on a Sunday, the parking lot was packed, but there was still plenty of room inside. We were seated promptly and wow was the service excellent. Our drinks came slow, but the service was fast. And tge food can quickly and it was amazing. I had skirt steak and eggs. The steak was perfectly cooked. I was reading some of the other comments for Lester's and my experience was not that. I have been to some very exclusive restaurants and the service and food quality surpassed thise restaurants and far surpassed my expectations. Thank you Lester's for giving me a perfect Sunday breakfast. Yum, yum, and yum yum!!!

Nostalgia at its finest. The food here is delicious. This is just like an old timer diner, and exceptional food is served. The coffee was hit as it should be. The food came out timely. The server was very pleasant.

Phenomenal food, our waitress Maite was terrific, hospitable and funny, and on top of everything. The location is odd, around a lot of abandoned buildings, but hey, ample parking! Bathrooms were decent but not great. I did not realize that this was a chain. We are going to try another for fun. Good times!

Always good food is always hot. I love some grits. I tried a new thing this day. It was the breakfast steak wrap. It was so hot and delicious. It really did the job. I took the other half to work. The waitress was very pleasant and of course this will continue to be my go to wish I could've stayed for a milkshake, but I just didn't have the time.

I stopped by Lester's Diner in Margate for brunch today and when I received my order, it was nothing like I ordered. I wound up with overcooked eggs and undercooked potatoes. The toast was okay and so was the service from my server Heather. I wish that I could write a better review, but unfortunately this restaurant lacked a lot to rate it any higher.

This is an old review that I realized I never posted. We had an awesome server with a great personality! Unfortunately I didn't get his name. My husband and his friend ordered the turkey platter, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. We were told they ran out of mashed potatoes (it was around 8:30 pm) so they got French fries instead. It wasn't a big deal. I was on the fence between a couple of dishes and ended up ordering the gyro platter which came with a side salad and French fries. The gyro was surprisingly very good! We had an excellent experience at this location and would definitely come back if we're in the area!

Haven't been here in forever, came on a Saturday night and we're seated right away. The restaurant was clean and the staff is very friendly! The menu has plenty of options, they even had draft beer BOGO! Unfortunately we were in a rush and starving so we were in and out. Will absolutely be back to check out more options! No complaints on the food we did order, the French fries are a 10 out of 10! The mozzarella sticks are too good, the kids cheeseburger was cooked to perfection! The Greek Combo was chefs kiss! That stuffed grape leaf (drool)!

I've been to Lester's Diner once before for breakfast and had a good experience. I decided to go during my lunch hour this time. I sat at the bar as I was dining alone. The server was kind and attentive. I ordered a turkey club sandwich with potato salad. The sandwich was huge and the turkey was of good quality. Unfortunately, the bacon was pretty chewy. Otherwise, I enjoyed it. The potato salad was average, if a bit runny. Overall I would return for breakfast, but the service was great.

Came here with a bunch of New Yorkers who relocated to Florida and love their diners! They are usually pretty picky people, but they are regulars at Lester's. I got the gyro platter and my husband got an enormous hot dog. I loved that mine came with a cup of matzah ball soup. The portions are large and the food does remind me of the New York diners I would dine at with family as a kid. They also had a good deal to add a drink and dessert onto your meal for (I think) $5, which seemed pretty reasonable. The server was very patient, kind, and accommodating with my family's dietary requests. The seating area was open and bright.

Walking into an almost packed diner after 10am only indicates to me that the food is probably good. Reminded me of those times IHOP and Denny's used to be packed...they don't pull in a full crowd these days. Located along Coconut Creek Parkway, Lester's is a large diner offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week. You can do take-out or dine solo, with a companion, or with a group - there's plenty of table seating accommodating over 200. With more people steadily coming in, I approached a friendly female employee and stated that I wanted to place an order to go. She asked me if I knew what I wanted. After replying that I wanted French toast, the employee asked me if I wanted a short stack (2 slices) or full stack (3 slices). I then asked if the French toast was served with anything and she replied that it's just the French toast. She then explained that I can order the 2-2-2 (2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 bacon slices or sausage links) and substitute the pancakes for French toast for $1. That was good enough for me. Wait time was about 10-15 minutes. Once I received my order, I hurried home to enjoy my breakfast. The bacon was crispy. The scrambled eggs was well prepared. The French toast was decent. The egg batter used to coat the bread didnt have that vanilla and cinnamon flavor I love in a French toast, but at least it didn't have an eggy look and taste. The food was filling and satisfying. Hopefully I can make some time to dine in and try another dish.

    Raw bacon.

5/1/2026 Stay away!!…read more Food is just ok.. Although I found hair in my food several times.gross! There are some good waitresses..mainly in the afternoon, but the service of some and the manager especially JEROME (Owners Brother Who Thinks He Is The Owner)is horrible and doesn't know the first thing about running a restaurant or customer service! I wonder if his sister the ACTUAL owner knows about him telling customers to leave, good steady customers. Your bread and butter, throwing their business out the door! See how long your business lasts with that model Long story short I have gone many times to this place at just 2:30pm or 3 pm in the afternoon and half the restaurant area is CLOSED off. On 3 separate occasions JEROME was there when I arrived and I asked if I could be seated at a BOOTH..this place is NOT big and only 6 booths..3 were taken and the other 3 were on the closed side I explained to him I have a bad back and cannot sit on a hard chair. He said sorry and basically said ok leave..I had been a regular customer until incidents with a few morning time waitresses, Tiffany in particular and he knew full well who I was as he has seen me so many times eat there. 3 times turned business away and would not simply seat me at a booth that was right next to a booth in the so called closed section, even again telling him I had to sit on a custioned seat due to a very bad back and can't sit on a hard chair This person JEROME..the manager saw me sitting in the booth today and almost had a heart attack..as to what am I doing. The waitress working who DOES thankfully understand you should accommodate your customers, especially those with such a small request and NEED due to physical issues He came to the table and immediately started YELLING like a child throwing a tantrum, telling me how I was not supposed to be sitting there .restaurant was half full with customers as he TRIED to humiliate me .which he saw he has the wrong one! I told him the waitress did the right thing .he was yelling at her as well and told him don't yell at the waitress because she did the RIGHT THING and knows what she is doing, unlike you and she should be praised for such. He disrupted people's meals and then could be heard by everyone in the restaurant walking around saying "THIS IS MY PLACE , ARE YOU KIDDING, CMON People do what I say" .like a tough guy, trying to put on a show for the customers who were clearly annoyed it seems as well from his outbursts and disruption all over where I was seated!!!! R u kidding! .JEROME seems the type that was bullied when he was a kid and now has let the manager title go to his head!! Thinks he can utterly speak to anyone and CUSTOMERS any way he pleases. He totally disrupted everyone in the restaurant meals..kept running his mouth about it while I was waiting for my food then came again to my table and HARRASSED me and asked what I was doing with my phone! Told him NONE of your business and to leave me alone this is harassment and I will report and sue! JEROME has NO place being a manager or any part of anything where you need to interact with others as he has NO PEOPLE skills and the only thing he can MANAGE is to run this place OUT OF BUSINESS. Horrible experiences here between some of the waitresses and Jerome. This place is a joke..and I suspect they will lose more and more customers if it continues to have waitresses(NOT ALL), there are some good ones there but others which started me stopping going here because they were more interested in talking gossip to some customers and ignoring others and not properly waiting on their tables and just horrendous service This is the worst place I have ever seen with issues and JEROME is a big part of it and he is going to be a good reason this place loses business and customers and maybe even sued! As for the waitress today..BRAVO..you did what he should of done every time..she said "NO Problem you need to sit there .I understand".and brought me to a booth. She got my order correct and was very polite and didn't deserve to be yelled at or spoken to the way she was in front of CUSTOMERS by JEROME.Humiliating her and talking derogatory to her. Bullying her! Stay away. There are much better alternatives to this place in terms of food quality and especially service and nice people in the area ..try DYANS Kitchen .way better in every way than this place.

We were warmly greeted and provided with our choice of where we wanted to sit. The menu is full of lots of breakfast items, but be sure to check the specials board as there were lots of items on there that were not on the regular menu. The food came out quickly and was warm. I especially like the potatoes. I wish that the grits were smoother. Our server was absolutely delightful and kept our coffees full. Dimitri's is a nice spot and I'll visit again.

This is a beautiful diner reminiscence of upstate New York Jewish deli. They have every single…read morebreakfast food you can think of plus lunch sandwiches and wraps and soups. They don't have full dinner platters, but they have almost anything else you can think of between salads and sides. We proceeded really quickly, we had three people come over to make sure we had water as soon as we sat down and coffee, and then our waitress was attentive even though they were super busy and packed with a line waiting for people to sit down. Food was exactly as anticipated, and the grits were really good. I had a coral Springs wrap that was pressed. They had four choices for the wrap flavor, I went with traditional instead of the spinach or whole wheat. Their deli counter had every salad you could think of, shrimp salad, white fish salad, salmon, egg, tuna, chicken, just anything. We will definitely be back. They even have counter seeding at the deli. Really a cute place and I'm surprised it has so many lower stars, not sure if people were expecting fine dining but this is a perfect local little restaurant.

I have been going to Dyan's for breakfast and lunch since 1997. With family, as well as friends. Many times Dyan, was at the restaurant making sure all ran well and also greeting customers. Dyan, sadly retired and sold the restaurant. I decided to sit at the counter. The place was busy for a weekday. A waitress acknowledged me right away. I ordered coffee, water and two eggs, bacon, hash browns and wheat toast. Service was swift. The breakfast was OK. Bacon was warm and not fresh. Toast was not fresh either. I was seating at the counter, watching David the man that prepares the sandwiches to go. David is very talkative, but looked like he knew what he was doing preparing those sandwiches. I observed the young girl at the register, in what I would consider in a disrespectful manner, tell David to hurry up with the orders. Not appropriate in front of customers. The new owner, was walking around the counter area, very stoic, not greeting anyone. How did I know that was the new owner. I asked. I won't be back at Dyan's. I suggest, the new owner start greeting the customers. And the cashier, not treat her coworkers in a rude way.
