Last summer I went to Sonic a few times and it was horrible so I had to stop going. The service was extremely slow and the food tasted like garbage. I decided to try it again this year to give it one more chance. I ordered at a stall and the food was delivered within one minute. The food tasted like high quality and was delicious and fresh. I went again during the same week and the food was again delivered within one minute and it was once again delicious. I was very impressed with the high quality and fast service of the food. I asked the carhop why it was so slow last year and why the food was disgusting last year and now this year it is the complete opposite with outstanding food quality and service. The carhop said it is because we have a new crazy Egyptian manager and he is very strict. This is probably the worse sonic I've ever been to. We waited 30 minutes for food and they brought out the wrong one. Then had to wait another 30 minutes for the correct food. Was also given an attitude when I addressed that it was the wrong order. Wasted an hour for a dry burger & cold fries. read more

I'd been dying to try a Sonic. Their hilarious commercials get me every time. Don't make the same embarrassing mistake me and my colleague did. Don't park your car and try to walk in to dine in*. This is no dine in restaurant! Sure the place looks huge, but they only have drive thru and drive in-car service. I got one of their new melt sandwiches, mushroom & swiss melted with a patty on a Texas toast. With a side of tater tots. How could I not? For a refreshing beverage, I had their Watermelon Limeade! Yum I hope to come back when I'm out here for work. It's refreshing to see someone roll up to your car in rollerblades, especially in the middle of winter with their fluffy lined parka on. I'm determined to try all their frozen drinks. Why don't we have any Sonics in NY or Upstate NY? Honestly, this is the most disappointing fast food restaurant chain I can even describe. The servers were at one point very good and now they just absolutely SUCK. How is it possible that you break down kiosks on a FRIDAY NIGHT? You're telling me that the service you get on Friday night's doesn't matter? Sonic must make money throughout the day because people expect better service. And their slushie machine has broken down on more than one occasion, I would suggest calling here before coming to make sure everything is working. Such a crappy place. read more

Great drinks but it's a franchise so I can get the same thing at a much better ran franchise. Lines at sonic are expected but 3 cars on drive thru and the first car took over ten minutes to get finished is just unacceptable. Sonic food had always been marginal at best but the drinks will make me stop from the Slushies to the milkshakes. The service at this location is probably the worst I have ever been to and they exist due to their location and that alone. Also watched a manager car hopping and then calling an employee who was on break or just early to work, be called a "blockhead". Might need some more training at this location. As a side note I'm still waiting as i finish this for just a slush. Got out of the drive thru and ordered from a kiosk in the seating Area in front. Still no slush tells you how slow a sonic with two cars in drive thru and three in the bays can be. I came at 11:30 and was sent to the drive through after pressing the red button and being told by some miserable girl that it was closed and That I couldn't order there and "obviously" I needed to go through the drive through. They then told me, with the same unprofessional rude tone that I couldn't order any ice cream because they close at 12. The manager Madalyn was so nasty. She told me because they close at 12 that they shut everything down early because "we want to be out the door by 12. Not cleaning at 12 so we shut it down early, plus we served ice cream all day, we are not doing it anymore right now." Anyone who has worked in the food industry knows that just because you close at a certain time doesn't mean you're done at that time. It doesn't matter if you've served ice cream all day, it's on your menu and it's your job. If that's the case you should state you close at 11:30 since you don't plan to do a single thing after that. If your restaurant closes at 12 you serve food until then and then clean up afterwards. The worst experience I've ever had at a sonic. First, the shakes are really awesome. I can't say as much for the chili dogs because two years ago I got food poisoning from eating one of them, but the shakes are definitely awesome. What was not awesome about today's visit was that we were third in line at the drive-thru, waited 10 minutes to get to the window and then waited another 10 minutes to get 2 regular shakes while three cars behind us got served boatloads of food and drove away. I went to this establishment for a late lunch with a friend. One of the wait staff came over and told us that we should not get the combo meals but order off the value menu instead. When we ordered we asked for the works on our burgers but NO mustard. The order came out about ten to fifteen min. later with mustard on all the burgers! GROSS. I know this is something they do in the south, but it is disgusting to me and I refuse to eat an pay for something I find repulsive. I would not be writing this review for just this, yet it happened three more times in the same order!!!! We spent almost an hour waiting for "fast food" that never came out! The cooks there are incompetent and don't understand English! After the fourth time of being served these wasteful burgers we asked for our money back. The manager came out and gave us a receipt for two free combos when and if we return. I will NEVER visit that establishment during the day again. I am currently here at 11:50pm and it's a mess. They employ children who are completely immature. There were two employees chasing each other around the parking lot screaming the entire time. There is a long line and lots of cars on the curbside ordering. On top of that the speakers don't work so you can't hear them and they can't hear you. We were eventually called over because their speaker system failed. It took overall and hour to get two shakes because every employee was messing around in there ignoring customers. read more

The Coney Island hot dogs with the chili on top should be illegal due to hazards to your health but their ice cream shakes and slushies aren't bad. Food is a late night spot which isn't bad for its purpose but the service is absolutely atrocious. Definitely only do the drive through as the drive-in not worth the time. A typical wait time in the drive through is 5-10mins while drive-in is 30mins and they forget things. Can't stress enough how bad the service is. read more

I like Sonic. It's a great place to grab fast food. The burgers here are alright, not the best fast-food burger I've had, but certainly not the worst. The real star though are the tater tots. I can eat those all day, every day. They're just the perfect crunchiness! As for their shakes, to me, they're just a bit too sugary, which is why I gave this place 3 stars. We visited this location for a quick lunch on the way home from PA. In a nice area, and it was beautiful out so we chose to eat outside at one of their patio tables. We decided on the sonic burger with tots meal and bacon cheese croissant dog with jalapeño poppers. Of course I got a cherry limeade!!! It took about 15 minutes for them to skate out with our order, come to find out they brought our order out but charged us for someone else's. Strange. They ended up fixing the problem in a timely manner. Unfortunately, every single table outside was covered with either bird poop or melted ice cream, leftover food, and about 100 fruit flies. After unfolding every napkin we had as a mock tablecloth, we finally began eating. All the food is chock full of sodium but oh so deliciously bad for your health in more ways than one! Lol out of everything I enjoyed my drink the most. If there was a sonic in RI I would be there everyday of the year so I could try every one of their drinks. Low prices too. After going a couple of times, I'm just not sure what the big deal is about this place. The highlight of my meal was the strawberry smoothie, which was SUPERB, but everything else was extremely salty or completely flavorless. Probably will not go back unless I'm craving another smoothie. read more

This is my first East Coast Sonic experience and my Wife's first ever sonic experience and we both drove away full, happy and smiling. This sonic used to be my favorite late night spot, but after tonight, I don't think I will ever come back. We waited almost an hour to be given 1/4 of our order and then a completely incorrect order. When I tried to speak to the workers inside to get my full and correct order I had already paid for, I was insinuated to be a liar because a worker claimed she packed three bags with our food in it. We were given three bags, but one of the bags was someone else's order and the other bags had less then half of our full order. After going back and forth, I was given our correct order 15 mins later. Now both me and my friend have stomach aches and will not be coming back. My boyfriend and I just left this place. We were unaware that they open at 8 am since in the past we have gotten food before that time. For 5 minutes we sat at the drive thru. Proceeded to walk up to the front to order and this woman after another 5 minutes comes outside with a attitude right of the bat saying they open at 8 o'clock. We were okay with the fact that they open at 8 but the way this woman spoke to us was what set me off. This is not the first time this sonic location has given us issues. I can understand when a place is busy. But there were times we sat there for over 20 minutes waiting for our order. It sucks because I can appreciate the food since I live in a area where all we have are burger king and McDonalds.
