Had I known they had 1.2 stars on Yelp, I never would've gone to this terrible sonic. These folks are completely clueless, must be smoking the local in the kitchen. All I can figure, the place is rundown, and the screens are so sun bleached you can barely read them. A mobile order just kind of disappeared between our phone and their faded screen progress. Once we asked about it, they were kind of clueless. I had to send it back inside looking for it after we had to push the button again. 1.2 stars is a gift here. I come here all the time since its the closest to my house, but every time I come here there's teenagers who aren't doing they're job and just standing around, today I pulled up and was ordering but mid order she said "sorry can you give me a second" she was gone for 10 MINUTES, I pulled back and drove back up to the speaker since they have sensors that tell them when a customer is there, she asked what I wanted I said "Ive been waiting here for the girl to come back and finish my order" she didn't care one bit and said rudely "what do you want?" I let it go and ordered but as I was ordering I swear I saw a girl poor a shot to the 2 cars in front of me into their drinks (actual alcohol) idk if they are friends but at work you don't do that, I'm guessing they were friends since 2 cars side by side at the window, talking. But I pulled up and it took another 10 minutes just to get my food, she kept asking what I had and after that she said (I f*cked up on a order again) once I got all my food after she forgot the tots so I asked for them and once I got all the food and already pulled away I realized they gave me a small chili cheesefriesa instead of the normall my order wasn't too hard, even if they were short staffedtor new you don't poor shots for your friends in the drive thru or anytime at work, and you don't leave someone mid order and it doesn't take 10 minutes to figure out the order when you already put it thru the kitchen, I never wanted to leave this place a bad reviewbutV EVERYTIME it's awful and seeing her poor shots was just the end of it, start hiring better managers and get this place fixed up, idk what I expected when this place is known as the "c*ke sonic" read more

SO SLOW... stopped here on a road trip ~ ordered ahead on the app and we've been here waiting on the food for 30 minutes for a coffee, one cheeseburger, 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, two breakfast burritos and a burger. Watching them move around like snails inside and walking passed us. My husband had to ask where the food was and she said our drinks are "right here (pointing at shelf inside) and your food is ready on the warmer." She returned and apparently they thought we weren't here. She was apologetic which is the only reason I'm giving two stars. read more

1:00 on a Saturday should be a good time to go for food, but the fries were old. Chicken tenders were decent but a little dry and not especially hot. So I was quite surprised to bite into a cheddar pepper popper thing, which was room temperature to my fingers, only to have my face scalded by the cheese inside. I called the number to suggest they warn people and the person in charge was rude and dismissive. Otherwise the employees are indifferent. Why bother? Update. After letting all levels know about the blister and scab that I got on my lip from the burn, they sent me a $20 gift card. Really, they couldn't make it $25? read more

Very slow service. Poor guy appeared to be one of only two people working and was clearly overwhelmed. I got no answer to pushing the button when i parked in the stall. I eventually gave up and went through the drive through. It still took a long time, but we did get our drinks we so desperately wanted. Stop at the McDonald's before or Pass this place and go somewhere else if you're driving through. Slow service despite there being six people inside and only two cars outside. Normally I would not take the time to review a fast food chain such as Sonic. You pretty much know what you are going to get. However, you road warriors need to know a couple of thing about this location. First, once I discovered you did not have a public restroom, there was no way to get more than three stars. This location is perfect for those passing through. You serve food and 44oz drinks, but my 3 year old has to pee in the rocks by the dumpster??? Second, I was ordering for 5 people, and the person taking orders was not consistent and this lead to confusion. Finally, to top it off we did not get everything we ordered. No way I was turning the car around. Honestly, I hate to say it but if you want accuracy, quick service, and somewhere to relieve yourself... Find a McDonalds. Poor customer service and poor food quality! The employee was very unfriendly and even rude. We could not hear her well and she repeated herself in a very frustrated and annoyed tone. She most definitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed- but should never be an excuse to treat a customer poorly! Our food was very poor quality. Ordered number 14 a breakfast burrito- the tortilla was hard and the eggs were burnt brown. My family and I were extremely disappointed in this locations customer service, we will not return. If I owned this Sonic, I would be having a team meeting with my employees as this is exactly how a location goes out of business. Interesting to drive through Espanola and see two Sonic's within what seems like a mile of each other. This is the older location, I'm guessing. It's not as new looking as the one further into town. Service was slow here and the food is below average. However, when it comes to their drinks and shakes there's value. Come here for that or a late night snack (because most other locations in town are closed) and don't expect anything but grease and you'll be happy. read more

Horrible service went in at 9 am before work ordered Large Dr Pepper and Corn dog . Received my items but when I got to my job my drink was a coke . I know it doesn't seem like a lot to someone who might like soda but I wanted my Dp. I figured I drive all the back on my lunch hour as I had already started my shift . When I get there around 12:50 I push the button explain the mistake made by Sonic and she can you hold a minute . I say sure then a couple minutes later a older short mean looking man comes to my car and barks at me what's the problem. I explain again how I ordered a Dp and got a coke and I just want what I ordered and paid for. He proceeds to ask for my receipt grabbing it out of my hand and says but you were here at 9 and it's now one. I tell him I was already at work when I realized your mistake and couldn't come back till now on my lunch hour. There was only a sip missing from the incorrect drink plus it still had ice. He the told me I should have called . I said again I was at work and can not make personal calls especially for a soda they got wrong. He then was very angry and told me they would do it this one time . I said really I ordered and paid for a item you have me the incorrect item and now blaming me. All I want was what I ordered and paid for in the first place . He then marched back to the inside and sent a young woman out with the correct drink. Come to find out he is the general manager Louis Jaramillo . I also tried to review my service on their website but it kept kicking me out. I called their head quarters to tell of the rude service by LOUIS JARAMILLO . They said they were sorry . Me too I said I will never return to this location.
