Horrible service, but what can I expect from some pimply faced kid on skates!!

So nasty....the food anyways. Don't go here if your hungry. Drinks, sure...they don't screw those up. The food is beyond horrid. Chicken sandwich was hard and just gross. Hot dog looked like they got it from AmPm...yesterday. The french fries actually tasted like they were made four hours earlier and sat on a counter till they came to my car. I sent the fries back and asked for new ones. When brought out the girl actually said "these just came out of the freezer so they're really fresh" lol. Birthday cake shake was yummy. so. not. worth. it. I must commend Sonic for an amazingly convincing series of commercials and the illusiveness that draws people in. The fact that I never see Sonics makes me jump at any opportunity I have to try it. After trying it, I sorely regret that decision. There's not must to say other than don't go here. I would have rather eaten a bag of pretzels from the neighboring gas station. The chillie cheese tator tots were aweful, the chicken strips were whatever, and the bright blue drink that the commercials make me think i NEED was just a blue drink. read more

I went back to try their shakes during their late night special (half off shakes!). My peanut butter shake was pretty good, but honestly, the service sucked. They got our order (two shakes) wrong, THREE times. As in, they brought out the wrong shake flavors, then went back to the kitchen to re-make them, then brought back out the WRONG flavors again, three times. How does this even happen?! You can only imagine how long that entire process took (hint: a LOT longer than you'd expect ... so long that one employee came out and asked if "we needed anything else?" ... yeah, we were STILL waiting for our shakes). We finally got our (correct) order after what seemed like a lifetime, with no apology by the employee and two coupons for free sodas/coffee (with the purchase of a breakfast burrito). Honestly, that's ridiculous. You're giving me these coupons as a consolation for the long wait time, and you're making us BUY a meal item in order to receive a free coffee or soda (the cheapest possible items for a food place)??! Might as well give us nothing, since that's essentially what we got. Terrible service, but the shake was pretty good, so maybe check out a different location. read more

Just opened today and man it is jam packed at 8pm already. Luckily they have a drive thru portion in addition to their drive up stalls because there was not one drive up stall available!!! Then again their drive thru line was extremely long and they had workers to direct traffic. Everything is brand new and looks pretty schnazzy. I've been a fan of Sonic for quite some time but usually don't have the will to drive all the way down to the one in Anaheim. Thankfully they opened one up right across the street from my house! With that said, usually openings are pretty rocky and the wait here was about 10 minutes to order and then only 5 minutes for them to bring out the food. The manager was out here and asked us 2-3 times if we were doing alright which is always much appreciated. I'm sure they'll get the rest of it together soon though. I always try to visit a Sonic on my way to Vegas. I always order the cherry limeade here. It is always a refreshing drink to have when I have to drive 4 hours to Vegas. The staff is always happy. You order food at a kiosk and the servers bring your order to your car. This is probably one of the last standing drive in restaurants around. read more

This is probably the worst Sonics location ever. I gave this place about FOUR chances within a good period of time and I don't know if it's management or how they're staffed or not enough space but the wait is ridiculous, orders are almost never correct, and when any of this is brought to their attention, NOTHING. It is absolutely ridiculous. It's a shame because they're so close to disneyland and have a great opportunity to get good business but NOPE, I tell everyone I know not to go to this sonics. read more

First time going to Sonics and I ordered 2 cheeseburger combos with tots and fries, 2 shakes as well, the service was good and they brought the food out fast. The staff was very friendly. I get home and the burger has the end of the tomato in it the lettuce looked old and was the thinnest lettuce I've seen. They didn't fill up the fry box and the tots tasted like my school tots. Apparently they only put a dab of whip cream on the shake and full whip cream is extra. I was thinking about calling the establishment and saying how terrible their product was but I was half way done w my food and why would I want a refund or something if I already ate some. So slow. Soooo sloooooow. Pulled off the freeway to grab a bite. Two items- small breakfast burrito and some tots. 3 minutes for someone to answer the "button". Another 14 minutes to get my food. Car hop frowned because I didn't tip her - really? There were 6 cars total in the entire place... Could have driven through McDonald's 8 times in the time I sat there. Never ever again! read more

After having a slushy from Sonic there is really no reason to ever go back to 7-11 again. (Well, for slushies at least.) Any of their drinks can be made into slushies which doesn't seem ALL that amazing until you try and a powerade-lemonade slush. SO GOOD. Slushies get 5 stars but unfortunately the food is mediocre at best. read more

I'm not going to lie, I love going to sonics. Their hot dogs and their burgers with the toast bread are gooood. The thing that always haves me coming back though are the drinks. My usual is the strawberry limemade and if I'm feeling like getting dessert I always go for the vanilla malt. I haven't had a chance to go during happy hour but its 1/2 price on drinks & slushes everyday from 2-4pm. You can't go wrong with that HH deal! read more

I love Sonic's food, but the employee Kelly here at this location is either incompetent or intentionally fleecing the costomers. I ordered a junior deluxe burger with mayo and no tomato. She responded 2 junior deluxe cheeseburgers with no mayo and no tomato. I corrected her, and she repeated it back correctly. Then I get the car hop telling me no mayo, so I send it back. Then it comes back with mayo, only WITH cheese AND I paid for cheese when I didn't want it! And I know better than to send food back twice. They skimped on the onions, and the American cheese made it taste a little funny, but it was ok. Kelly needs to be retrained or fired. If you hear the order wrong, FIX IT! read more

The wait at this location is long. Why does it take over 20minutes for 2 milkshakes??? Even after the 1st long experience, I went back a second time, and was once again disappointed. They forgot my tater tots and had to go back to get them for me, meanwhile, my fries and burger got cold. And when the employee returned with my tater tots, she had forgot to bring the ketchup I also requested. No good! read more

This place is a complete atrocity. Their service is so horrendous, the cashier who took our order rolled her eyes at us and gave us an extensive amount of attitude. Not to mention the slushies she made us didn't taste like the lemon-berry slush I know. She also seemed like she was out of it. I beg Sonics to reach out to this store and help them because clearly they can't fulfill the orders being placed due to all the cars behind me leaving the vicinity and the line out of the parking lot. downgraded to 1.5 stars. did a drive thru order and ordered a few corn dogs. I did a quick check before I left and realized they gave me 1 corn dog short. They fixed my order, but I never gotten 1 word of apology out of them for their error on the order...... their staffs def. needs better training! also... I ordered their icetea for the 1st time and had them add some kind of berry flavor....it ended up they put this cheap berry syrup that tasted horrible! I live down the street and I always come for the route 44 whether it be ocean water, cherry limeade etc I always ask for light ice, they always repeat back light ice, and they always fill my entire cup with ice. I want a drink w/ ice, not ice w/ a drink. Not too hard to comprehend. Light ice = LESS than normal. Don't be cheap and cut corners with customers for the massive corporation you work for. This Sonic has the worst service that I have ever received. Every time I go I end up waiting at least 30 minutes in the drive thru for a single milkshake. The staff is beyond rude and has no idea what they're doing. I hope this Sonic gets replaced with something better when it goes out of business. I would rarely do a review of a fast food restaurant, but in this case the second horrible experience pushed me over the edge. On my first trip, I had an entire ice cream shake spilled into my window. When I finally was able to make contact with the owner of the store (several calls, emails, etc) they didn't want to pay to have the interior detailed. Complete lack of form in my opinion. The latest trip? Why would I even co ider going back after the first incident? Lack of common sense perhaps. The ice cream machine was broken, but yet they were still trying to dispense half melted cones after we waited 25 minutes in the drivethrough. I have been to a number of Sonics that I would say have it together. This one is a poor representation of the overall brand and should be evaluated by their corporate headquarters. read more

Stood in front of an ordering panel as the manager sat with an employee behind me at a table, I pressed the order button at least 4 times before telling the Manager that no one was answering then he told me to press the button again and still got no answer as he sat and had as casual conversation with his female employee this place has 0 professional standard and costumer service here is a joke I'd never come back to this sonic unless someone forced me to. read more

The people are friendly and polite... unlike another location... cough Anaheim... cough... service isn't the fastest but it was warm and well prepared and tasted good. Came around 730 and it wasn't crowded. Ordered our food and waited about 15 mins for it. (It was just popcorn chicken and fries). We got our food and the chicken was warm but edible. The fries tasted really stale and were not warm at all. I wont be coming here anymore read more

Sat in the drive thru for more than 10 minutes while being told "just a second" Everytime we tried to place our order. We were eventually completely ignored and I find that to be absolutely inconsiderate especially since there was a line of honking vehicles behind my family. Sonic is all my child had been asking for all night only to be utterly upset and disappointed that she didn't get to have her mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders. Best slushies ever. I love the candy mixture and will continue to buy it for as long as I can. The jolly rancher, nerd, and pop rocks are the best. So delicious and they are courteous.
