Their ube is delicious and their mango sticky rice one has such an incredible taste that replicates the dessert so well. I ended up getting their cookie butter flavor since I am a big fan of biscoff and it was so creamy and delicious. You get small chunks of the biscoff cookie as well, which is great. For the price itself, you get a good amount of ice cream too! The shop itself is pretty small with only a table or two for seating and parking is slightly difficult when it gets crowded. I thought it was funny that their sampling spoons were nicer than the cheap wooden spoons we actual got when we ordered. I got their vanilla and pistachio ice cream. Both were mediocre. I also ordered a peppermint hot chocolate that took more like 30 minutes to make. I had finished my ice cream before my drink was done. That was annoying. There was one girl working that weekend and she had no urgency. We had to wait for her to serve a group before us and that took a long time. We were a group of 4 so it also took awhile until we got our ice cream. Parking also isn't great because it is downtown. Honestly I'll be honest and say I won't be back. Wow! What a superb ice cream shop! This place offers a variety of interesting flavors made at a local creamery in Chino (Scott Bros.) from dairy cows in San Jacinto. I came on a quiet weeknight and looked over the day's flavors posted on the wall. The delightfully polite young woman working behind the counter explained to me that a regular is actually 2 scoops and a large is 3. I decided to get the "regular" with one scoop of Graham Crunch and one scoop of Coffee with Chocolate. I am impressed with how comparatively inexpensive their ice cream is especially considering the large size of the scoops. The interior is a small space with only three tables. Wanting to relax for a few minutes I took a seat inside to enjoy my ice cream. Each scoop was very creamy with vivid flavors. The coffee had a bold flavor with plenty of chocolate chips mixed in. The graham one tasted like graham cracker with chocolate chips; nothing that crunched but I think there might have been tiny pieces of graham cracker within. I really liked both scoops as they had a freshness about them and a smooth mouthfeel. I sincerely appreciated that the card reader screen didn't automatically ask for a tip. My family and a friend's family decided to end our NYE dinner with a treat at this ice cream shop. The ice cream itself was good - flavorful without being overly sweet. We tried Ube, Cookie Butter, Coffee Chocolate, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Mango Sticky Rice, and each was pretty good. However, our experience took a frustrating turn at checkout. I have two little ones and prefer not to give them individual orders, as that's too much sugar for them. The store's small cup comes with two small scoops, so I thought it would be perfect to split that amongst my kids and ask for an extra cup. The cashier refused, stating the store doesn't allow it. This left my kids fighting and throwing tantrums as they did not want to share from the same bowl, plus, one was just recovering from a cold. I frantically looked through my bag for anything to transfer the second scoop into, but had nothing. When I asked if the cashier could at least spare a plastic or paper water cup, she declined. Never in my 37 years of existence was I denied such a simple and reasonable request at ANY establishment. If this truly is store policy, it's a poor one. And if it isn't, then your staff needs better training to use common sense, especially when families with young children are involved. Most ice cream shops (or any establishments, even the most ghetto ones) will accommodate such request for extra cups or utensils, especially for young children. It's just basic customer service. While the ice cream was tasty, the service overshadowed our experience and created unnecessary stress. We ordered the Mango Sticky Rice and Black Sesame. Mango sticky rice had a nice flavor and i could definitely taste both components. The black sesame flavor was so subtle I could barely taste it. I kept thinking, is it just me or I can't taste it? I would skip out on this flavor. One thing i did not particularly enjoy was the texture of the ice cream. It wasn't bad but not great. The texture was a bit icy, not exactly smooth and creamy which is what I also look for in ice cream. Overall, Sweet scoops could definitely use some improvements.
