Haven't been to a sonic in like forever, but saw they now featured a smash burger which is the newest craze in burgers, fast food or otherwise. Had to get my car washed ( down the street) so I figured why not stop. So most of the reviews seemed to be one star focused on poor or non existent customer service so I was hesitant but also hungry. Saw that there were no cars at the stalls ordering and there was only one car ahead of me in the drive through. My turn came and I wanted to order a smash burger similar to the one I saw on line with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. So I told the disembodied voice what I wanted and she kept saying that it only comes with onion and pickle and that's the only way I could get it. Now if I ordered it through the app for pickup I could have customized it through the wazoo, but of course you have to hope they actually follow up and make the order correctly. Which in my experience hardly ever happens at fast food places. So I grudgingly placed my order , pulled behind the car at the payment window and waited and waited...maybe ten minutes. I guess and hope that meant that their food was being made to order and mine was being made to order as well. Finally got my stuff, didn't ask for condiments since I was heading home and I had plenty. Got home, the tots were crispy maybe not plentiful for a medium but tasty. My burger was actually pretty decent, didn't look anything like the artistic photographs the food designers do for advertising, but decent. It would have been better if I got it my way, but it wasn't a disaster . Will I be back? I guess so, but franchise fast(ish) food is not often on my menu. Only have gone thru the drive thru. I have given this place many many tries. Workers are friendly. I always order the same items. Every single time, something is wrong. Hamburger is cooked good but my toppings are always wrong. I ask for the hamburger meal with tots and a large Cherry Limeade. I can say it many different ways t ways and it will still be incorrect. No cheese with Mayo n mustard. Many times I receive the burger with only Mayo n mustard. Even when they ask if I like cheese, I state no, then they ask what I would like mayo mustard or ketchup and state mayo n mustard. If you come to this location make sure to check your order before driving away. Very upsetting to get home and it's wrong. I haven't been to a drive in in a long time. I more than likely won't return any time soon. The experience ordering was frustrating. I don't know if they couldn't hear on their end but they kept asking what stall we were in. Then as I was ordering I kept getting cut off. We about left it was really irritating me. I wish I had. The wait wasn't too long to get our food. It took about 10 min which isn't bad considering they said they only had one cook and the drive thru line was super long. When I asked about my missing corn dog I noticed that the server had earbuds in (I'm wondering if that is why we had so many issues ordering). They got me my missing corn dog, that was burnt. The food came out quickly but it was all cold minus the corn dogs they were lukewarm. I said screw the sit and eat in your car experience and I'll take it home so I can heat it up. The honey bbq chicken bites were drenched in sauce (this is weird for me to say because usually there isn't enough sauce for me). This is a strong sauce that a little goes a long way. The chicken was stale hard to eat on top of being in bbq "soup" I couldn't eat it. The shakes were made with little to no candy so they werent what was sounding good to me. The chicken tenders were like Philly cheesesteak thin pieces of chicken and all breading. For what we paid we could have gone to a reasonably cheap sit down restaraunt and had better service and more food. The prices are high for what they give you. Sonic overall was a huge let down. I recommend skipping it and going somewhere else for fast food. Save your money save your time and save the stomach ache itll cause later. read more

Been to this location several times and service has been ok,but today just sucked! First of all, the wait time just to order, took 10-15 minutes then another 10-15 minutes to receive our order. Got home, only to realize that we were missing our large order of mozzarella sticks, which was one of the main reasons we drove all the way there to begin with in the first place and this was the nearest location. SMH the lettuce in my grilled chicken sandwich was old, the chicken itself was bland, the tater tots were meh , some were actually fried while others were under cooked. The drive through line went faster than pulling into the stalls and ordering. You may want to consider that should you choose to come here. The drinks are half off during happy hour from 2-5pm. Perhaps the reason of the long wait time, but what's the reason behind the taste of the food and the presentation or missing an entire order? Meanwhile I watched 5 different employees walk around in circles EVERY single one of them with an airpod in their ear and cell phone in hand. 1 girl sat down inside the metal table under the cash register, 2 employees came out the front door and sat on the curb to smoke. My strawberry cheesecake shake tasted sour and had no strawberry flavor, my hubs strawberry slush didn't have the extra "real" fruit pieces that we paid extra for. Opened the top and half of it was white. ZERO flavor. My son liked his(he's 8) so anything with nerds candy was great in his eyes. So sad that fast food quality has drastically gone down. The person who took my order was rude and somehow gave me a total of 23 dollars and change. It was then discovered that all the cooked items (burger, hotdogs, fries, and tater tots were luke warm at best. When the manager was informed of what happened, he offered to re-cook our meal. Today, we decided to stop by for a cool treat. I ordered our items from the app and checked in. We saw people ordering at the stall beside us after we ordered, then get their food and leave. We had frozen items so we thought they simply took a bit more time. Our order said it was on its way and then nothing. The order cleared out and we sat there for another 5 minutes waiting for our order. Concerned that we wouldn't receive anything, we hit the call button and it seems there was no knowledge of our order. After we provided the name, they said it would be right out. We saw the status go back to in the kitchen and eventually we received our order after some time. When we received our frozen items, they were watery and melted like they had been sitting. I don't understand how our order was missed and then it was bad when we got it. This is a really poor experience. This location needs to do better. I'm highly unlikely to return. read more

My time while waiting 45 minutes for 3 items was a complete utter disturbance there's four main girls to avoid all together here : the black girl w glasses and braids , the oldest looking one - a heavy set pale girl with bad acne , a stoner lookin girl with her Medusa and a little white girl with a pink bow. They spend more time laughing,talking, and playing around so loud you can hear them through the window seal. Every bad thing they say about you,how you look, why would they order that I even heard one say " should we drop it on the floor and give it to them?" I'm disappointed overall about how I was treated,targeted and then grouped up on by thee employees today. I waited forever for 2 milkshakes, 2 chicken slingers and some jalapeño poppers. After finally getting our food and pulling away an overwhelming spoiled milk smell filled the car. It was clearly coming from 1 of the shakes. Spoiled for sure. After waiting way to long for the food I wasn't about to return but I did want to let them know so they didn't continue to serve bad shakes. I called and couldn't get anyone to answer. When I got home I found both chicken slingers so over cooked they couldn't be eaten! This is just a horrible location that I am honestly surprised is even open.
