I stopped in at this sonic tonight. It had been nearly 15 years since I last stopped in at a sonic. Let me tell you, I was absolutely blown away by the incredibly delightful and efficient young lady that took my order and payment. It was so refreshing to see the joy in a fast food server. Honestly, she brightened the rest of my evening! I wish I had gotten her name but she had dark hair and two cute twists on either side and a brilliant smile! BEWARE!!!! This is without a doubt the WORST SONIC on the PLANET! But what else do I expect from anything in Henry or Clayton county?! They have the most inept and hellishly rude employees I've ever witnessed anywhere, they don't listen to anything you're saying when you order, then the kitchen screws up every order both times I've been here. When you tell them they screwed the order up in a polite way, they take offense to it and talk to you like a dog like YOU are the one that made the mistake. Oh by the way ... they had a line literally wrapped around the building for the drive through and had all the stalls closed. I got to this location at 9:53 after rushing. Immediately upon entrance to the drive through the worker rudely just said "what do you want" repeatedly. I ordered my ice cream and then had to ask my youngest child what he wanted. She then said she couldn't hear me and stopped talking? Once I tried to order AGAIN she told me "we're closed and weren't taking anymore orders." It was still about five minutes before closing. I work in fast food so I understand the frustration of wanting to leave as soon as possible but I have never been this nasty and disrespectful to any customer coming in before closing. We waited at the drive thru speaker for 5 minutes. No answer. No sign saying speaker was not working. The line was long. Cars were breaking line. It was a complete disaster. No apologies for poor service. I attempted to call the manager, but the mailbox was full. I would have driven off without even ordering but I did a mobile order. First in foremost I already live in the woods. Meaning I have to drive a good distance for fast food. Tonight my significant other and I went to Sonic. As we arrived there was no lights. All of the lights where out except for inside the building. You literally have to know the menu, the drive thru menu did not have lights, the lights on the building was out just horrible. As we begin to place our order, the lady who was taking orders just seemed very frustrated, rude, irritated. It was like she didn't want to be at work. Every time my significant other spoke, she cute him off. Then we wanted to verify to see if a burger we ordered was input the way we wanted, and it was like we had ruined her night. She had the biggest attitude ever. Also, he asked for cheese sticks aka mozzarella sticks. She started they didn't serve that, so I time him mozzarella sticks and she said ok. I said all this to say. The things that are suppose to be convenient for you are not actually convenient. And this is sad and unacceptable. Every time I come here, there's always an issue. Terrible customer service. Arrived 20 minutes before closing time to order and no one answered the call button. That didn't surprise me because a young man could be viewed through the windows (from stahl #14) taking a selfie instead of taking my order. The Lights were then turned off on me and one other car just as they pulled into a stahl 16. I went through the drive-through at 9:50 PM. I was then told the car that arrived after me in car hop stahl but pulled through the drive-through after they turned off the lights was the last order for the night. No regard for the customers who were patiently waiting on them to take my order in a time when all businesses are asking customers to be patient. This Sonic Drive In is the absolute worse. I sat at the order menu for five minutes and nothing. The red push light just stayed blinking. So at this point I decided to go to the drive through. I'm wondering why cars are leaving afterwards, I'm thinking they just didn't want to wait. My turn next, I drive she say "may I help you" I placed my order...then she says we're not taking orders. I'm like huh? So I said are yall taking car hop orders, she say we're not taking orders period. So I said just tell your manager to close then. Oh she precedes to jump into argument mode then says baby you're not talking to to me. Then I say of course I'm not talking to you, tell your manager to close the store if you all can't take orders. Instead of arguing with the child I drive around and call the store, and ask to speak to the MOD...they get quite for a minute.....then say she busy...I say she to busy to come to come to the phone and the phone call is for her. The young lady then hangs up on me. I called back, and said since your manager is busy, tell her to give you the number to corporate, and then that young lady hangs up the phone to. Needless to say I went on Google and and got the corporate number and put a complaint in. I'm not a Karen, but I refuse bad customer service from anyone. That what happens when you hire a bunch of immature children at your establishment and they have no home training on how to talk to their elders. I won't be going back to that Sonic. I never go to Sonic, but we were starving and the two of us just needed to share a few bites to hold us over. We ordered a #11 with fries and a coke for $6.99. We got a #11 with fries, tater tots, one single onion ring and a coke for $9.29. When we got to the window we said, why is this 9.29? We only wanted the #11.... and she said, "Yea, the #11 with coke and fries. That's 9.29. You got a discount though!" Uhh. And then, everything was kinda dry. If I could give this Sonic no stars, I would. We stopped at this location on 3 October 2021. We were traveling home from a vacation trip and stopped for a quick lunch. As we neared the restaurant, my wife did a mobile order and we checked in to a stall when we arrived. The screen on the menu indicated that the order was received and being prepared. A half hour later, no food. I attempted to make contact with an employee, but they refused to come outside and speak with me. My wife pushed the call button on the menu. A female employee answered and did not even give my wife a chance to speak, telling us they were busy and would get to us when they could. Another 15 minutes passed and an employee walked outside and asked what we were waiting for. When we told her our order, she stated we had to go through the drive thru. We've done mobile orders at many Sonic's and never had to go through a drive thru. When our food was brought out an hour after we arrived, each meal was in a separate bag and the bags were stapled closed with over 10 staples. None of our food was correct. We were starving, so we ate it. I couldn't even dispose of our garbage because all of the cans were overflowing onto the ground. We should have looked at the reviews prior to stopping. The absolute worst . During Covid it's nice to order food and you don't have to go inside of a restaurant. My order was completely messed up. When I made it home and realized how bad my order was messed up I called Majah. And went back to get my order replaced as she said I could . The male manager would not correct my order when I went back. And said he would not honor the replacement !! I asked for a burger with only ketchup and tater tots. The girl came to the car and I asked for ketchup for my tots. She said they were out of ketchup. So I asked is it they were able to put ketchup on my burger. She said yes so I said did they run out? No She said she could bring some in a cup as though she hadn't even considered the possibility. O.k. this is what gets me. She insults my intelligence by trying to make me believe she is too stupid to think about getting ketchup in a cup. No I didnt call her stupid. Like all Sonics you order thru an intercom system from your automobile. Today the "Background Music" was so loud that I wasn't able to hear the order taker. For the same reason she apparently could not hear me. My order was only a number 2 (Double Cheese burger) without mayo or ketchup. Nothing was unusual. There was no special request. The drink I requested was water only. After waiting a unusually long time for a Sonic the order came and the only thing correct was the water. Management needs to understand that Background music is so named because it is supposed to be in the background and not played so loud that the ordering process gets screwed up. The music is NOT there so the employees can shuck and jive. It is there ONLY to create a nostalgic Ambiance. This is not a truck stop or a roadhouse. It is a burger restaurant. I'm glad they're still open due to COVID-19 but this experience was awful. I ordered 3 meals and all were bad. My chicken fingers were burnt to a crisp and son's kids meal was nothing how I ordered it. The chicken sandwich meal was at best ok. We were told no slushees, no ketchup after they brought out our food. I wish they would have said this when we ordered and we would have come back when they were better stocked. I will not be coming back to this location. Sonic is usually good at other locations. Not sure what happened to this location. Went down hill.
