Won't let you walk through the drive through because we have a rv. They told us we had to drive but we have a rv that won't fit.

Sadly not a good experience again...should have not come back to the same location after the last time, lesson learned. Of course cant eat outside at tables??? Cant eat in your car in the car stalls??? So ordered the meal through the bad speaker and hard to hear the employee and I bet they cant hear the customer either....as if they could the orders would be right, right?? So once got the meal and yes I failed to hear the order read back so after pulling away...wrong drink, wrong items on burger, no fry sauce but on the ticket it was all right with the ticket so my wrong. Back at the speaker it was all read back correctly but at the window it had changed. Tired to go up to window but they did not want to talk to me outside my car and kept the window closed. I waited outside the door to hopefully get somebody to meet me...nope I guess COVID restrictions means they cant fix what they screwed up. This is the slowest restaurant I have ever tried to eat at. I spent over 15 minutes in the drive thru and never made it to the speaker box to place an order. Not the worst spot if you stop by during the day when you KNOW they will be open. But I wouldn't stop by past 7PM as they close erratically, whenever the employees don't feel like working anymore I suppose. On the official Sonic website, it says this location closes daily at 10PM, but I know that is not true. I drove half an hour to this location one night and arrived a bit before 9:30PM, pulled up to the drive-through and sat there for a good minute without hearing anything from anyone on the other side. So I pulled up to one of the stalls and pressed the red button. A lady on the other end said, "Hi we're closed" so I replied "oh already?" She said "yup." To which I said, "I thought you guys closed at 10PM" and she simply did not reply. Thanks Sonic. read more

Got a bacon bretzel hotdog and drink. I enjoyed the drink. I didn't like the hot dog. Some douche kept smoking right next to me. It was gross. The hotdog had no bacon so I sent it back. The second hot dog was not very good. Alright fuckos sonic sucks. I am not sure why I ever came here. read more

I was very excited to see my tots come out hot and fresh it was the best part of my order. I was very excited to rip my bag open and dig into my number 7 combo but I was surprised to see my dog was quite pale. I thought nothing of it before I started to eat it, I could barely cut through it and when I took a bite it was very bland Gordon Ramsey would be ashamed. Although the tots were quite delicious the fry sauce tasted a little too much like ketchup but I was still very happy. My sisters chilli tots were also very good that was a surprise since our previous foods were unsatisfying. This happened on 2/7/16 about 5:15pm. 1. The drive-thru communication equipment was not working properly. The volume was so high it hurt my ears and those of my wife, yet the sonic employee could not hear my wife, she started ordering in a regular volume and by her 4th attempt was shouting her order, but the sonic employee couldn't hear her. Seems this has been going on some time. This is bad for customers, bad for your employees, bad for your manager and your sales. Both sides of that ordering need to hear. The equipment needs fixing. 2. We looked forward to trying the Chili Cheese Hot Dog. I doubt we'll try it again. Hot dog and bun were OK, the cheese was what I call "American Rubber"-tasteless, the Chili was tasteless and difficult to see, must have used one level tablespoon for each of our dogs-pathetic. 3. To me the Sonic ad is misleading. I was going to ask for some onions on my dog- - but gave up with the shouting and blasting going on with our order. 4. The root beer floats we had were adequate, yet the root beer tasted like a cheap imitation of "real" root beer. * I filled out the Sonic survey, told them my story - - but what I didn't tell them was we are going back in about a week (maybe 2 weeks). If the drive-thru speaker/ordering system isn't fixed, I intend to email Clifford Hudson (Pres/CEO/Chairman) of Sonic and Cc their local Manager here. Stay tuned. I moved here from Texas and my famaly and I really don't need a burger with 18 ingredients. All we really need is a great tasting burger and that's sonic. I was there the morning on the 11th at 9 am to get my treet after gowing to the VA. The lady that took my order was fun and up beet,and her daughter works there as well. Going through Medford and we needed a quick lunch. Two hot dogs and drinks for under10$. First pretzel bun I have had. They did taste like pretzels although they didn't have the pretzel crunch. Poor customer service. They got our order wrong, asked to have them remake it and got an eye roll from the car hop. She said she would have it made. 10 minutes later we hit the buzzer to see if it's coming soon, since we told the hop we are on a time crunch to catch a flight, Elliot apologizes and says it is being remade. ...10 minutes later we go in to see where it is and nobody knows anything about a remake STILL. I saw a Sonic on the way up to Oregon (in Anderson) so I knew that I wanted to eat there on our way back to California but as we were driving back I found one sooner!!! and it was a brand new one because they don't even have a real sign on the shopping center yet, just a banner. The shopping center looks new as well. I never knew Sonics were drive-in restaurants because we don't have them in the bay area... but I knew that I've always wanted to eat at one because I always see the commercials... and now the commercials make more sense because they seem to always take place in a car. You place your order into the sign/menu that you park next to and a roller skating server comes and brings ur food. I think it's so cool that they roller skate over to your car with the food. It takes you back to before I was even born when they were doing this as an everyday thing. I tried my husband's hamburger and it was pretty fresh. He said the meat was a lot better than any other fast food he's ever had... the portions are pretty big as well. I got the chicken sandwich on the texas toast bread and it was really good! The fries are fresh and so are the onion rings. The batter on the rings were a little too sweet for me. I also got the reeses peanut butter cup sonic blast and that trumps a mcflurry any day. My husband got one of those slushy drinks and it was way too sweet and artificial for me. All in all it was really good and a fun experience. read more

There were only three highlights of our trip to Oregon: 1. seeing family, 2. going on a jet boat tour of Hell's Gate canyon and 3. eating at Sonic. You're probably wondering why #3 would be eating at a Sonic, right? Well, you see, with the bf and I being from the bay area and seeing those oh so funny Sonic commericals on TV, but never being able to go to one because there isn't one around the Santa Clara County area, always had us craving their food. When we were up in Medford driving around, we spotted a Sonic and vowed to go before we headed back home to CA. The experience of driving up, parking and ordering food was so cool (atleast we thought so), we took pics of us ordering food at the telecom menu board. Their food wasn't bad either. My favorite is the variety of different drinks they have to offer. Not your typical soda fountain drinks. This is a must try if you've never been to a Sonic's. read more

LAZY STAFF. My family and I pulled in at 10:15PM on 4/30/2011. They hide behind the counter as I pulled up even thought there were cars in the parking lot. Im a manager of a local company here in town. I will contact management so they know how much business they lost from me and if they do it at 10:15 with 45 minutes left. I don't even want to know what they do to the food. I will never go to that place again. It's a shame because I've gone there so.many times because I live a block away. I have not been a fan of Sonic's food in the past but decided to try their new boneless chicken wings because they looked good in their TV ads and they have a half price special going on. I ordered the honey barbecue wings at the drive thru. I had to wait almost ten minutes to get my ordered even though I was the only car there. The wings tasted horrible. There was almost no sauce on them. The heavy coating was hard and tasted grainy and cereal like. The twelve "wings" were four dollars and change which was at half price meaning that the normal price would be well over eight dollars. Don't waste your money. Even McDonald's McNuggets or Burger King's nuggets taste much better and are a fraction of the cost. read more

We went to Sonic at 6:00 on a Wednesday night. They were not very busy. We were going to eat outside at a table. We placed our order and was going to sit down when I saw that the table was really dirty. I called back in and asked if somone could come out and wipe it off. I was told very rudelyby the Manager "I'll get there when I can". 15 minutes later our food comes out and I asked the girl if we could have the table wiped off before she sat the food down. She stomped off and when she got inside she slammed our food down on the counter and walked over to the sink filling a bucket of water. We had enough. I knocked on the door and asked for our money back. I then had another girl get in my face and said "she is doing what you asked". Then the girl with the bucket of water passed by and started scrubbing the table down with a brush. Water was flying everywhere. There would be no way for us to sit at the table being soaked down like this. A simple wet towel to wipe it off would have been fine. I asked for our money back again and the girl at the door got in my face and told me I was being rude to them. I asked to see the Manager. She went in and came back out and glared at us then said "He's getting your credit back." When he walked out he he didn't say anything just handed me the receipt. I then asked if he was the manager or Assitant Manger. He said he was the Manager. I asked why they were so upset about being asked to wipe down a table and his reply was "Sorry you don't like our service." No apology no explanation just a glare. I left calmly telling him I was going to write a complaint. And just for the record I am a very calm and patient person. We just asked to have the table wiped off. read more
