I got takeout on the 2nd of this month. Super disappointed with the quality and service I received this time. The girl bringing the food to my car was rude. I asked about my missing sauces. She kept telling me they're in the bag. I had to tell her more than once they were not. When she realized I wasn't going to let it go, she reluctantly asked me what I needed. The deep sigh that accompanied her asking me what sauces I needed let me know she was aggravated. Next, I ordered a frozen strawberry passion fruit refresher. What got got was complete trash. It tasted like watered-down toilet water with a bunch of melted ice. I tasted neither flavor, and it wasn't frozen. I ordered the "cheese fries". The picture says enough. My biggest issue is paying for Angus Smaasher meat and received regular hamburger meat instead. This is the 6th time this has happened. I've complained to corporate 4 times already. I'll post pics of the "new pineapple heat smasher" with a regular cheeseburger patty placed on top for reference. See pics. First of all, the card machine didn't even work when we were using our card and the worker came and took our card and was just walking around with it. Like? And then! They completely got our order wrong and the lady on the intercom had a big attitude. Like she shouldn't be working in customer service. And when the worker came when our order was wrong he also had attitude. I understand it's frustrating to keep coming back but we are paying YOU. To do your job. And when the worker put a sticker on our card and it left residue on the card. Like come on. And the popcorn chicken tasted like salmonella. Other than that everything was pretty okay. Burger was pretty good, choose tots as the fries are not great and the onion rings at sonic taste like they are dipped in a honey batter which when combined with the sweetness of the onion is just too much for my taste. Shakes are good, try the peanut butter, watch your size choice as it is sonic and the portion is larger than expected. My daughter and I were craving some slushes... we were going to stop by the nearest gas station to get some when we were excited to pass by a Sonic. We went through the drive thu and I got the cherry, my daughter got the blue raspberry. As we drove down the road and started drinking our slushes we realized they weren't slushes at all, they were both basically watered down flavored water (no slush in our slushes). We were both so extremely disappointed. By the time I realized how watered down they were I was already a couple of miles down the road heading back to Raleigh and didn't feel like turning around and dealing with the unfriendly girl at the window. Worst Sonics I've ever been too. The order screen was broken so we couldn't check our order and of course they got it wrong. They had to go back to get one burger and it took an additional 20 minutes. The soda had no flavor, the fries and burgers were cold. This Sonic is the SLOWEST to ever exist. Every time I come here I am waiting for the longest time. this time we have been waiting for over 15 minutes to have our intercom answered. We pressed the button and have waited and waited. They need the train their new hires and teach them what time is and how people do not like to have theirs wasted. This was a late evening (10pm) visit and the food quality was very poor. The burgers were not made with any care at all. We noticed after pulling off the order was not complete so we had to go back and get the missing food. Be careful when you order the shakes. As I watched them make the order I noticed the guy was using his hands to add the cherry on top of drinks. This is the same employee collecting cash at the register. This location is top notch. They have always gotten my order correct, I've never had any issues or complaints about it. And if you're in line at the drive-through, and if they have your order ready before people ahead of you, they will walk it out to you and take the payment while you're waiting in line. This saves a lot of time. The cars in front of me may have ordered a load of food or a whole carload, and I may have ordered only a slushy. I prefer this sonic over the other two along 501 in Carolina Forest and Conway. read more

The food is decent but if I'm being honest, I'd much rather go to the other ones in the area. The food is better there, but what really makes this review so poor is the fact that their service is god awful. They speak to you like you're garbage and I've even had experiences where a carhop argued with me over what I ordered. Most of the time the carhops are very nice, it's the people taking your order who are beyond rude. It's not that clean either. The food is ok but not worth it with the other experiences. I would much rather pay for something extra somewhere else where I won't get chastised and cheated out of food portions. read more

Pushed the button and got a low answer followed immediately by a raised voice answer to which one of the passengers was going to respond but connection was terminated because apparently we didn't speak up quickly enough to interest them in taking out order. I directed my husband to repress the button since they hung up and it was responded with the same guy verbally yelling into the speaker. I understand that they have a lot of people to deal with but giving hardly any chance to respond and being yelled at "welcome to sonic!"
