I love absolutely love Sonic but today's experience was terrible! My friend ordered a route-44 blue raspberry lemonade but got a mini instead so we went back through the drive thru to fix it. This girl named Cordelia was trying to help us but was absolutely rude and had the nastiest attitude. She refused to get us the right drink. My friend paid $4.75 for her drink. A mini costs $1.29. She ordered it for pick up on DoorDash but it doesn't even give an option for mini, small, or medium slushies so she got a route-44 instead. Cordelia was so persistent on not giving us the right drink even when we showed her our receipt and she did it with terrible service. Today I had the worst fast food experience of my life and I will not ever be going back to this location. Yes it's a busy location and yes summer just embarked and they are probably short staffed. Having said that, I've never experienced any of these issues with any other fast food vendors in the area including, Jimmy Johns, McDonalds, Wendy's, Taco Bell or Dell Taco. We ordered $44 dollars worth of food including a double smash burger. It was the worst fast food burger I've ever had. Had to wait over 50 mins for my order in a drive up slot. I rung inside twice and told them that if my order wasn't out in 5 mins that I wanted a full refund. I got my order finally and the qualify was horrible and the tots and fries were luke warm at best. This location is horrible and I believe it stems from ownership not caring a lick about customer service or quality of their food. Stay away from this location. There are many options on 12th right around this horrible Sonic and ALL of them are much better options for your hard earned dollar. They didn't even say sorry or offer any discount or coupons for their lack of attention and expediency. Truly EPIC FAIL. This is a ZERO star review but i had to at least give them 1 star. read more

Sonic is really great even though it's not the blue hedgehog. Even when sonic's jampacked they just serve customers quickly and efficiently to their best of their abilities. The food at sonic is delicious with crispy fries and tater tots to delicious icy treats that are great for summer days. They always have deals and promos going on if you're looking to save a buck or two. I can't speak so much for the ambience because there is only outside seating but at the outside seating it does seem to be clean. Sonic is a great spot for highschoolers and also great for treats. read more

The chili dogs with mustard and onions are noteworthy. Unfortunately the don't offer malts or Chicago style hot dogs anymore. Don't understand the marketing logic. They are willing to mix blasts. Can't be more effort to mix in malt powder instead. Rather than drop malts from the menu, just charge enough to justify the extra labor. I left my house at 9:34 last night. 9:39 I arrive at sonic. 9:41 I place my order. 10:09 I get my food. I literally watched car after car pile through the drive through while I was waiting for a carhop to bring my food. You probably served 10 people through the drive through before you even started handing out food to the vehicles waiting for a carhop. After about 20 minutes of waiting I finally pushed the button to ask where my food was. The girl who answered said they were wrapping my breakfast burrito and then hung the intercom up. She didn't even let me finish what I was gonna say. She brought me out a coupon for a free ice cream cone (in January) for the half hour you guys wasted of mine. So now after I'm irritated and I get home I find out that you guys didn't even make me the right burrito. Honestly I've only been to this sonic a handful of times, but every time I have been I have waited way longer than usual. This was the 2nd time I went to this location, first time I used the car hop location. I ordered 1 Chicago dog and 1 Jr deluxe cheeseburger, I waited 10 mins watched multiple cars make their way through the drive thru. I finally had to press the button again and ask where my food was. Low and behold it comes out immediately, and cold. So for my 2nd experience I decide I would use the drive thru. I order 2 6in Cooneys, 12 mins from the time I got to the drive thru window to the time I left. And it wasn't busy I was the only one there for most of the time.
