The best burgers in the smallest little drive thru. Don't pass on this place! Seriously amazing.

When we are traveling, we always try to eat local and avoid all the chain restaurants, and thankfully I stuck to that recipe. Blazen Burgers is incredible. This is a little local stand in Nampa, that is a little hard to get to, but well worth it. And when I say little, I mean little. It is only a drive-thru with no indoor seating. And when I say hard to get to, it's in the middle of a couple of one-way streets so you might have to go around the block to get there. I had a Cheddar Burger with Bacon and Cheese sticks. The burger was very tasty, and one you would expect from a mom-and-pop burger stand. I will say the Cheddar and bacon were both very flavorful. But the killer was the Cheese Sticks. OUT OF THIS WORLD. By far the greatest cheese sticks I have ever had in my life. I was going to order onion rings, but I changed to cheese sticks and they kind of threw me when they asked if I wanted cheddar, mozzarella or pepper jack (I should have known right there). I ordered the small order of Mozzarella Cheeses sticks. When I got them, you can tell they are obviously home-made. And the small order - HUMUNGOUS, but I ate every single one. I am only visiting the area, and am staying by the Boise airport, and have no reason to go back to Nampa, but right now I am contemplating if I want to drive back over there to get more. Long story made longer, ended up going back a couple days later so I could share some with my wife and she concurred, best ever cheese sticks. Ended up talking to the owner and he verified that it is a house made breading. And the cheese is a specialty Mozzarella which is super creamy and stays melted for an extra long time. read more

I love the feel of an old-fashioned burger joint. I prefer to support local, small business and Blazin Burger owners are very kind people. They are always so friendly and the young girl that always helps me is always smiling and has worked there forever which tells me they are good to their employees. I order the same thing every time and I feel like I probably frequent them at least once a week. My favorite and only thing that I order is in California chicken sandwich with crinkle fries because they have the best around and an iced tea sometimes with lemon. My family has tried other items and everybody loves their it, no matter what is ordered. We've never had a bad experience and I'm willing to wait a few minutes for fresh food. The only reason it's getting a three is because I usually only get shakes, and the shakes are great.. but wow! Stay away from the Finger Steaks. They were stacked in the bag on top of the fries.. so everything was super hard to get to because they were right out of the fryer.. it's great that they have hot food but it's not great when it's saturated with oil so bad that the bag breaks. Usually their fries are even pretty good but today they were just flaccid and soggy. Super disappointed. I ended up stopping at the Chevron and throwing everything away.. They're not much for following through on customer orders. Yesterday was the third time in a row that we ordered food and it was prepared wrong. We both ordered cheeseburgers with no lettuce and no sauce or relish. Both of our burgers came with sauce, lettuce, and relish. It gets real old when you order something and the business doesn't care enough to even try to make your order correctly. They were good when they opened- not so much any more. This was our first trip here after passing it for years. Every time we'd pass it we'd say "Man, we gotta get in there and try their burgers!!". Well we finally did it and while not totally blown away... we didn't leave unsatisfied. The burgers seemed super lean, which resulted in hardly any burger flavor. I don't like the burger places that have such fatty burgers that the buns get all soggy... but I do like some fat in there for flavor. The accompaniments to the patty were super fresh and delicious. I don't think I've ever had better cooked bacon on a burger, ever. The hand cut fries were seasoned really well and tasted great but they were super limp and that's not what you want in a fry. The service was impeccable. From ordering to handoff, super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Actually, this was a 3* review but I'm changing to a 4* because of the service! All in all it was a good experience. A solid 3.5 stars for the food alone. We will 100% be back in to try more of the selections and maybe I'll request the fresh cut fries to be extra crispy... I was turned on to this little place years ago, but don't go very often. I have no reason why. Their burgers are great, as are the fried items I've had. I've heard their milkshakes are very good and the hubby and I are wanting to try the $1 off in the evenings. One of the things I love is it's a pretty simple menu. You order your burger, select a couple toppings if you want and thats it. I usually get pepper jack cheese and grilled onions. And the burger comes with the rest of the fixings. I love their tots, but this visit i went for the onion rings. Hubby got a combo with crinkle fries and a cherry limeade. My onion rings looked really dark and I was afraid they were burnt. There was no burnt flavor to them at all. So good! I'm usually not a fan of crinkle fries but I tried a couple of hubby's and they were perfectly cooked. Crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. And his cherry limeade was really good!! I've only ever been to the drive-thru. It does take a little time, but for me it's worth it and just requires a little planning. Customer service is always very friendly. And prices are great. Two burgers, onion rings, and an upgrade for the limeade was about $18. Obviously higher than a typical fast food place, but much better quality (and locally owned)! read more

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I ordered my hamburger after reading the mixed reviews? I didn't get the Blazen burger this time, just a regular burger, so I didn't really expect it to be all that special. I was pleasantly surprised that the bun was toasted and the meat patty was thicker than expected with a nice consistency and flavor to it. The special sauce made it less drier than most burgers and it tasted good. Definitely better than a food chain burger and the price is better too. It is my intention to go back and order a Blazen burger next time and also I want to try one of their shakes. read more

Ordered the special burger. Loaded with caramelized onions and bacon. Delicious and filling with hot tots on the side. The fry sauce here is pretty normal and tame. Still tasty. A small place in Nampa. Order in a vestibule area or in a drive thru. No eat-in. The chedder burgers and onion rings were cooked per order. Both were good. Either the packaging is undersized or the food units are over-generous because it's difficult to eat in the car, the food spilling easily out of the packages. Regardless, try it. Great local burger joint in which the burgers are actually good. Add-ons include bacon, different cheeses, avocado and more. You can add additional patties on as well. I've had a double but have yet to attempt a triple. That would be a big burger. The have pretty decent milkshakes as well. Order inside and eat on the patio or use the drive through. There is no indoor seating. Like most local establishments in Nampa, their design and branding really could use some help to make it stand out better than it does. read more

I was a complete mess when ordering. I was too hungry to function. The Gals working tonight were younger and beyond professional. As a "Millennial," it was nice to see my peers represent us well. Literally just said "these are the best chicken strips of my LIFE." Blazen is always is top of my list. Their fresh-cut fries are AMAZING and the guava limeade is great too! Slightly bummed they no longer have $1 jr shake after 8, but now they have $1 OFF all shakes after 8 which is pretty good.
