To be honest I wasn't expecting much just because Idaho isn't really known for cheesesteaks but when I took my first bite I was impressed by the flavor. I passed by this location and the outside of the restaurant grabbed my attention so as I decided to give it a try. I got the regular cheesesteak, so just meat with onions and cheese. From the appearance of the sandwich I thought it would be blend but when I bit into it, I was surprised by how good it was! My only cons are that the bun needs some Philly upgrade to it and the portion of meat needs to increase and I think it would be really good! Staff were friendly, and helpful. The ambiance with chill. My husband and I wanted to try this joint out a couple weeks ago when we were in the area. For some crazy reason we decided to get pizza instead. After eating here, we should have came here instead of having the pizza. It was later in the afternoon when we came in so it was pretty chill. I I did creep out the menu online so I had a general idea of what I wanted. My husband is pretty predictable so he automatically knew what he wanted. So for lunch I got the 7" pepper steak and my husband got the 7" steak classic with no onions. We both got extra meat instead on getting a bigger sandwich. Yo, this sandwich was so good! My meat was cooked perfectly and not dry! It had a ton of jalapenos and banana peppers. It was cheesy and savory. The bread was soft and not dense. Every bite of it was so good! Not gonna lie, the jalapenos were creeping up on me towards the end. They were getting spicy! I might do half the jalapenos next time. The banana peppers added a nice acid to the sandwich. I polished that baby off and was so full! Well, as full as I was, this joint does offer ice cream. Of course we had to grab some! So, my husband and I grabbed a single scoop of cookies and cream on a sugar cone. It was a decent sized scoop. The gal that scooped it did have a hard time scooping it, it was kinda hollow in the middle. But, it was honestly enough ice cream without officially putting me into food coma. The gals that helped up were really nice! The Phillies here are killer good! The venue is open and spacious. Huge tvs on the wall would make this joint fun during football season! I have to admit, I was pretty surprised to see an empty dining room at 5:45 pm, but it was a Thursday night and I've never been here before, so it wasn't too upsetting. Someone quickly came to the register with a huge smile and great attitude, patiently waiting while my husband and I scoured the menu. He ordered the 7" classic and I ordered the 7" supreme without mushrooms. We didn't have to wait long before they served us two piping hot sandwiches and a large fries. The sandwich was so hot that the cheese melted onto the paper, but when I carefully pulled the paper from the sandwich, it revealed this lovely melted mess of cheese, onions, steak, peppers and mayo. It was the epitome of gluttonous glory. The bun was soft, yet sturdy enough to hold all that gluttony. I eagerly dove in and was surprised on how much I enjoyed the combo of flavors. I thought it lacked a little salt, black pepper or something to make the sandwich "zing". But everything tasted fresh and was overall a very filling and delicious meal. The crinkle cut fries were hot, fresh and perfectly cooked. Liked the fry sauce as well. Honestly, I've never had a real cheesesteak sandwich before so I'm not sure how valid my review is in general. The service was really good-the staff was really nice and quick. The French fries were deliciously crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, not too salty but salty enough. The last three times I have gone there the girl at the counter has told me they don't have tomatoes because "tomatoes are in extremely high demand and really hard to get". I'd be willing to bet a substantial sum that I could go to the subway down the street and they would have tomatoes coming out of their ears. Decided to try @Bruchis_ in meridian today. Won't make that mistake again. Walked in to find a near empty restaurant with a lone employee in the kitchen, sitting on a prep table (gross..) and taking on the phone. He looked at us, continued talking and walked around. He was mimicking doing things, without actually doing anything. He finally walked over and and asked what we would like. We placed our order online, and if we hadn't, we wouldn't have stuck around. He went and grabbed our order. We got it home (1 mile away) and cracked into it. The supreme cheesesteak was fine, but seriously under seasoned. Very bland. The fries were pale and squishy, and again, under seasoned. The burger was the best item we had. Great stuff. No notes. When I finished, I decided to send an email to the company about my concern with The employee sitting on food prep surfaces, and generally ignoring us, only to discover there is no way to contact them. The ambience is ok, but not as clean as other restaurants, about 50% of the tables, booths, we're still dirty and it was not busy. The food was just OK. The fries were hot except the fries all come in 1 inch to 2 inch size fries. Forget about getting long ones for dipping in your sauce of choice. The 7" French dip I ordered with extra cheese, did not have extra cheese. And, They have cheese items on the menu board that they no longer carry. The meat in the sandwich was half of what I would expect and have seen in the past. It was a very skimpy sandwich . The first thing I noticed when I picked it up was how light it was. This is about 50% of what a subway sandwich would weigh. I tried to give them another chance so I'm only gonna give them two stars now. This is actually down from the four stars. We loved Bruchi's when we first tried it a few years ago, but the experience has been reliably disappointing lately. Tonight was very similar to the last time we came. Despite there being only a couple other patrons in the store, and plenty of staff visible behind the counter, there was a good 20+ minute wait for our food, only to get nearly cold sandwiches. My son's cheesesteak had cheese that was going solid again, it hadn't been hot for so long. The fries were hot, though, so I guess they decided to hold our sandwiches while they waited on a batch of fries.... Not a great decision. I'd rather eat a hot sandwich hot and wait for the fries. On top of that, the soda situation: Coke was out. Diet Coke was flat. Dr. Pepper was out. Root beer was mostly flat. And despite alerting the staff, nothing was done to resolve the problem in the 40 minutes we were there. We also were given water cups to use for our meals instead of a regular soda cup. Guess they were out? Sad to pay almost $3 for a drink situation like this. The store also used to have condiments and seasonings at the counter, but now you have to ask staff to bring them to you. All of this while prices have increased. Unfortunately after two bad and overpriced experiences in a row, we're done trying for the foreseeable future. My bread was cold and soggy and cheese was so watery, so much so that the bread stuck to the wrapper, wont be coming here again.

I'll start by saying the food is delicious. We've been coming to Bruchi's for years now, and the quality and taste of their cheesesteaks has been consistent - even through a change of ownership. One of our biggest complaints is the quality of service. The past two times we've come in, they've been out of something. First, it was french fries and this past time, medium soda cups. The drink area is pretty consistently dirty and/or under stocked. When ownership switched over, the loyalty cards also ended which sucks! We loved being able to work towards a free sandwich - hopefully that will be replaced with a similar program soon. Wait time is hit or miss. The last two times we've visited we've waited at least 30 minutes for our order (two cheesesteaks and an order of fries -if they have them). It really seems like they're understaffed and whoever is ordering needs some support. It's not as happy and friendly as it used to be. We will continue to stop in when we get a craving for cheesesteak, but our expectation for quick and quality service has severely diminished. read more

We came here after church on Sunday and were greeted with extremely friendly individuals. They came to our table once we ordered and asked if we needed any condiments or refills . They came back and they asked again if we needed anything. Very clean establishment and laid back. We asked if they could take our picture and they did it with pleasure! Make it obvious I'm ready to order by walking up to the counter that he's working at. Just ignoring me. No "hey how are you," just acts like I'm a ghost. Stand there for about 10 seconds of getting ignored, turn and walkout. So tired of bad customer service everywhere. Have to go to in-n-out or chic-fil-a to be treated like a human anymore. My problem is the employee in the sandwich area degrading another employee about how to take breaks , when and where you can eat while working his shift. what a jerk if you are going to manage like that at least do it in the office not in front of customers. read more

Recently moving here from California was pretty excited to find they had a Bruchi's location somewhat near our house. Not always liking to eat at a chain restaurant this franchise always delivers and we have always enjoyed their sandwiches in Nor California. Came here to this location recently and brought us back to something familiar. Service was really good and the young staff made it very pleasant. For food my go to is their spicy cheesesteak with extra grilled jalapeños. I will give you a forewarning that this is spicy and lives up to the spicy name. I also had a side of their crinkle fries cooked crispy as well. Food was great and perfectly executed and the inside of the restaurant was well kept and clean. I have driven by this place on numerous occasions. I read a review the other day and decided to try it. The staff was very nice, the restaurant was clean. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and a large fry. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. The meat was tender and juicy, the fries were crispy, the bread was fresh. I will definitely be back, and will try other items on the menu. I have gotten the turkey submarine to go and it was excellent. Today I stopped in and had the french dip. This was also excellent. Went for a pickup order like I have done several times. Every single time we order we ask for horseradish packets, super simple to put in the bag, yet they are never there so normally we ask at the window for some, this last time we were told they were in the bag so I checked there was none and we went back and asked for some. The employee was extremely rude and yelling as soon as we got to the window and proceeded to tell me I couldn't open my own bag of food. He just assumed it was a DoorDash order even though I ordered a pickup though Uber Eats which is clearly stated on the receipt which we normally get one but this time no receipt, no horseradish, and extremely rude employee, not a good experience, they do not care how they treat customers. I do not suggest going here unless you want to be treated like crap for asking for the correct order that you paid for. We will not be going back here again.
