Fast good food. Cannot go wrong with in and out. No need to wait in crazy slow lines when you got fast, friendly staff

I kind of consider myself an In-and-Out Burger aficionado since I've eaten there for almost 40 years in California. Once here in Idaho, I wasn't as inclined to visit due to my fear that it wouldn't taste the same and the Idaho-shaming of visiting any location. However, I had an overwhelming desire for "animal style" well done fries and after a lot of begging, convinced my husband to come (this was not an easy task). We arrived around 4:30 pm and the dining room was roughly 1/2 full with a robust wrap in drive-thru. We were greeted by a friendly cashier who quickly took our order, then repeated it back perfectly. The kitchen was in a fervor, bustling to satisfy all the orders (really, a hard working team). We obtained our drink cups and the large, typical drink station was nicely stocked with a nice array of soft drinks to choose from. The odd thing to me is that whenever I've eaten at any other location in the past, I think the longest I've ever waited for my meal has been maybe 9 minutes, tops. No matter the time of day or night. We waited 23 minutes for our meals. It seemed that drive-thru is priority, then to-go, then dine-in. The animal style fries were pretty good, though I'm used to it being slathered with more sauce. Thankfully, I was able to get a few sauce packets and gleefully doused to my delight. However, the bun of my burger was so over toasted! The buns were actually hard and crunchy. I'm not used to that. The burger tasted like before but it was dry and overcooked as well. The lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheese were very fresh and flavorful. My husband had the same experience with his burger as I did. Tables were not wiped down and the condiment station was out of almost everything when we got there. They didn't refill all the cups, chilis, etc. until right before we left. I really wanted to love my visit, but after this experience, and all the convincing to entice my husband there with this result, it's unlikely we will be back. read more

In-N-Out makes tasty burgers! I've been to this Nampa location a couple times since it opened and I really enjoy the tomato wrapped cheeseburgers for less carbs and more Yum!! I really don't care for their fries or shakes but the burgers and iced tea will keep me coming back from time to time. Only thing is the name of this place is pretty accurate.. not that you'll always be out of the drive thru fast though..sorry if it's too TMI but, the burgers went in and right after when I was on my way home, they needed to come out.. iykyk ! Also, prices are great and the team here is super friendly and double checks your order is correct. Next time I plan to try them mustard glazed with chopped Chiles.. and I will make sure a bathroom is nearby! ;-P read more

Went there throught the drive through, pulled up in line and what passes for an employee waves at me wierd. She takes the other cars order first. When I complain she said in a snotty tone that she was waving me to the other lane and they have to take orders in a zig zag pattern. I don't read minds so I had no way of knowing that's what she was doing, I had the window down she cold have said something. Told her I didn't understand her signlanguage and she rolls her eyes. I gave her my order and she says "Fine!" again in a nasty tone. Very unprofessional and discourteous. didn't catch her name, cancled my order. Went in and talked to what passed for a manager, Michael. Told him about my experience and he says in a monotone unintrested manner "Oh, sorry you had that experience." Clearly didn't care. so I said "Well then fix it." He blinked at me like I had just given him a revelation and said in the same tone "Oh." Second time I've been here, food does not live up to the hype and the service is some of the worst I've ever seen. May well not go back. read more

In just over a year, In-N-Out has opened its first three restaurants in Idaho. Nampa makes the third, behind Meridian and Boise. People either love them or hate them. Many of the haters have never never eaten there or have something against a family-owned chain that stresses freshness in all it's ingredients, down to the hamburger the company grinds itself, hand-leafed lettuce and fresh tomatoes, onions and chiles. Order it animal-style, with mustart-grilled meat patties, extra spread and pickles. Sometimes, I like it with cold cheese, or protein-style, which replaces the bun with outside sheets of lettice. If you think the hand-sloced fries are undercooked, order them light-well or we'll done Meridian has been the busiest of the outlets. Nampa should provide a good spot for people who live on the west side of the valley. read more

Went to In-N-Out twice over our weekend in the Nampa/Boise area since we don't have one close to us. The drive-thru line was super long both times, but it moved fairly quickly--about 15-20 minutes, which is expected given the line. Everyone we ordered with and spoke to was professional and kind, and of course, the burgers were excellent. A hamburger with grilled onions and extra pickles is where it's at! And you just can't beat the price--great quality for what you pay. read more

Customer service is one of the things In-N-Out is known for and this location's crew was on point! I went through the drive-thru on a Sunday morning around 11:30, it wasn't bad at all. Only 3 cars in front of me. By the time I paid I saw there were maybe 4 more cars behind me. It might be the ideal time to go, if you don't mind a burger and fries for Sunday brunch. Total time from ordering to leaving with food in-hand was maybe 15 minutes. I will say that the food was good, and the ingredients were high quality as expected. However, I feel like our burgers were thrown together quickly and with very little care. Meaning the burgers were half hanging out of the buns, more cheese melted on the wrapper than on the burgers. Just kind of a mess. A tasty mess, but not what I've come to expect from In-N-Out. Fries were also just ok. I always order their fries well done and my order the other day were a little more crispy than normal. Value for the meal was excellent. Under $13 for a double-double, a cheeseburger, and an order of fries. So happy to have an In-N-Out in Nampa and if a messy burger is my only complaint I'd say that's an easy one to get over. read more

I've been eating In-N-Out since they opened up the Thousand Palms branch in the Coachella Valley in 1988. The one amazing thing about In-N-Out is that the burgers are always super-consistent. I've eaten there at least once a month, for the past many decades. It's just that good. The only reason I'm writing this review is because this Nampa location has a tendency to burn their buns. It's happened four or five times now. Particularly when things are busy, I see every burger going out with a blackened bun. Maybe people like the blackened bun. Maybe there's a local taste for burnt food. But, for me, it changes the flavor profile of the burger and it's not a good flavor. Particularly because I go to In-N-Out for the consistency. So, I'm writing this in the hopes that it gets back to the Nampa store management and they're able to correct this issue. I don't want to stop eating these really tasty burgers but boy, oh boy, the char really does change the flavor. And I've eaten In-N-Out from Texas to Southern California to Oregon to Idaho and this is the only one that consistently delivers a burger that tastes substantially different from the others. read more

I am a huge In-N-Out fan. Absolutely can't find a better burger anywhere. However, coming into Nampa about 10 days ago, I ordered what I always order and a few bites in, It just tasted really funny to me. It was off. I can't put my finger on it, but it was off. My wife had the same response. Since then, I've had this burning indigestion that doesn't seem to want to go away. I'm not connecting the two, but I did want to let you know that Something has changed in your burger at least in your Nampa location. I'll keep eating your burger, but just wanted to let you know. Secret Menu alway! Get the animal-style double double (which has a mustard-cooked patty, pickles, grilled onions and sauce) add green chilies, animal-style crisp fries and a neapolitan (chocolate- strawberry- vanilla) shake. I'm a long time fan but the burgers are just eh, so-so if they're not mustard cooked. That's what elevates In-N-Out burgers from others places. Burgers were great, hot, juicy, fresh veges and plenty of cheese. Fries fell flat, cold and hard, more like potato sticks. Will return and try again sometime but for fresh potato fries, they were disappointing. Service was first rate, speed and accuracy was top notch. read more

OUR FIRST AND LAST VISIT to an In-N-Out. We had no prior expectations, but were disappointed both with the lack of menu choices and the quality of the food. The menu had a total of 3 burger options, plus optional fries. That was it for food choices! The prices are reasonable, and the burger did come with sliced tomato, special sauce (?) and optional sliced onion. But, the very thin meat patty was totally bland, as in not seasoned at all. The overall burger experience was BLAH! And the fries were barely crisp, and flavorless (without adding salt, which in the car is challenging). There is no reason to ever go back to an In-N-Out when there are so many other burger restaurants with both better and more options as well as better tasting burgers and fries. So disappointed, as I have loved IN & Out for a long time because the food always tastes great and the same, but I went today and unfortunately the fries were WAY too salty to the point I couldn't eat them. In n Out is definitely one of my favorite additions to the Nampa area. In-N-Out Burger is just classic and really gets you in the American mood. The simplicity of the menu makes all the better experience. Something else that also enhances your experience. Is there a customer service no matter how jampacked they are they always have a smile on their face. The drive-through can be a little hectic, but the food is definitely worth it with they're good prices. Their burgers taste high-quality and their onions are so refreshing. The shakes are also creamy and delicious. Their fries on their own are good, but not the best. What really makes them better is ordering them animal style, which comes with cheese and their specialty sauce which makes some of the best loaded fries out there. I've never seen the inside of this in and out location but of other In-N-Out locations the decor is very fun even though seating can be hard to find. In-N-Out is definitely a great place to eat that you most likely will not regret!! read more
